In a city that is the home of the nation's top universities, we can start our list in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, AKA MIT, located in Cambridge. this great institute features 168 acres of architectural buildings, statuary and the MIT Museum. One of the highlights of the MIT is the Stata Center, a complex known for its controversial design, built in 2004 and designed by the well-known architect Frank Gehry.
At number 9 we suggest the Massachusetts state house. the 1797 historic landmark is one of the 16 stops of the famous Freedom trail. watch our special video about this trail... The Massachusetts state house is one of the most beautiful buildings in the trail, mainly recognised by it's gilded dome, and red brick facade. and it is located in one of Boston's most beautiful neighbourhoods, Beacon Hill. Guided tours of the historic building are available all year long, for free! As you may imagine, this is not the only landmark from the Freedom trail on our list...
At number 8 we recommend the oldest public park in Boston, the Boston Common. The peaceful park was not so peaceful before the 1817, as it was used for public hangings. located in the heart of the city, this huge park features some of the most popular sights of Boston, and it is also the first station of the freedom Trail. Number 7 is Prudential centre. This commercial complex features many of the most popular shops in the fashion world. One of the exciting attractions is the Prudential Skywalk in the 50th floor of the Prudential Tower, which is one of the tallest skyscrapers of Boston. The “Top of the Hub” restaurant on the last floor is a great place to view the whole city and enjoy a tasty meal.
For those of you who love baseball, number 6 is a historic landmark! Fenway park is home to one of the most popular teams in the history of the US, the Red Sox. “The Green Monster” was opened in 1912, and it went through many changes since then. the park also hosted some of the unforgettable concerts in the US, like the famous Ray Charles appearance in 1973.
At number 5 We are leaving Boston and heading to Concord and Lexington. two towns that played an important role in the history of the revolutionary war, and an extremely popular tourist destination.
At number 4 we are back at UNI. This time we have Harvard. in the middle of this old university you can enjoy the Harvard Yard area, where many historic buildings are, like the oldest academic building in the US, which was built in 1720. this and many other great attractions are located in the 25 acres of grassy area of the uni.
Time to do some shopping. with More than 100 stores are available in our number 3 attraction. Quincy market is packed with upscale restaurants and food stalls and more. Visit the market at the weekend, when many outdoor shows take place. the market is located in Downtown Boston, so watch our video guides on this area and learn about Faneuil Hall building.
At number 2, visit one of the city's most popular squares, Copley square.famous for the most famous churches in the US, the Trinity Church. the church is well-known for its unique Romanesque style, designed by Henry Hobson Richardson. Copley square is also the home to Boston Public Library and to the second tallest skyscraper in Boston, the John Hancock Tower. the combination of new and old buildings in the small square gives it a great atmosphere you will not want to miss!
At number 1 we will take you for a tour on the USS constitution, an invincible warship located in Boston Naval Shipyard. Warrenton, TX - Named After A Store Called Warren Ligon In The Area
Warrenton is an unincorporated community in northeastern Fayette County, Texas, United States. Located on State Highway 237 between Spencer Pool and Coon Creek, twelve miles northeast of La Grange. Founded by William Neese, who landed in Galveston in 1847 and named the new settlement that grew around his store for Warren Ligon, another early colonist. This area was settled by many German colonists who, with an admixture of Anglos, formed several small farming communities based on the production of cotton, corn, and dairy products. The community flourished in the late 1800s. A post office was established in 1873, when the town had a population of over 100, churches, schools, a gin, and supporting businesses. Poor soil conditions led to a shift to cattle and poultry after 1900. By 1950, the number of businesses in Warrenton had declined to seven, and the population held at 180. By 1985, the population was down to fifty, but twelve antique stores had opened and St. Martin's Church, at twelve by sixteen feet proclaimed the world's smallest Catholic church, attract visitors. The population reached sixty-five in 2000.
Warrenton hosts Trade Days on the 2nd weekend of the month. It is also part of the Round Top Antiques Fair in the Spring and Fall. This is a very large antique show in several rural communities near Round Top and Warrington between Austin and Houston. Generally held the end of Sept and beginning of Oct and then again in end of March and beginning of April. Held across several weekends it brings in about 100,000 visitors from across the nation and about 600 vendors.
The Sterling McCall Old Car Museum was one of the local attractions. On display in this museum were over 130 vehicles from the prized collection of Mr. Sterling B. McCall, Jr., ranging in vintage from 1908 to 1967. The collection was begun in 1979. The museum facility was completed in 1998, enlarged in 1999, and again in 2003. In March 2013, the buildings were re-purposed as an antique showcase & event center. Today, the buildings house 'The Lone Star Glamp Inn', an indoor trailer park experience furnished with remodeled vintage trailers and themed teepees.

Vidor (/ˈvaɪdər/ VY-dər) is a city in western Orange County, Texas, United States. A city of Southeast Texas, it lies at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Farm to Market Road 105, 6 miles (9.7 km) east of Beaumont. The town is mainly a bedroom community for the nearby refining complexes in Beaumont and Port Arthur and is part of the Beaumont-Port Arthur metropolitan statistical area. Its population was 9,789 at the 2020 census.
The area was heavily logged after the construction of the Texarkana and Fort Smith Railway that was later part of a line that ran from Kansas City to Port Arthur, Texas. The city was named after lumberman Charles Shelton Vidor, owner of the Miller-Vidor Lumber Company and father of director King Vidor. By 1909, the Vidor community had a post office and four years later a company tram road was built. Almost all Vidor residents worked for the company. In 1924, the Miller-Vidor Lumber Company moved to Lakeview, just north of Vidor, in search of virgin timber. A small settlement remained and the Miller-Vidor subdivision was laid out in 1929.

Lets review in smith lake and rv park in vidor texas. Not too far from Houston , this is actually part of south east texas, an amazing place to go and escape the houston heat with the family or friends. a very family oriented atmosphere.
About 1-2 hrs away from Houston depending on where you are driving from. Cant go wrong with this place.
