Rucăr is a commune in Argeș County, Muntenia, Romania, consisting of the villages of Rucăr (the residence) and Sătic.
The commune is located in the northeast of the county, on the border with Brașov county, in the Făgăraș Mountains and on the upper reaches of the Dâmbovița and its tributary, the Râușorul. It is crossed by the national road DN73, which connects Pitesti with Brașov.

Rucăr commune is located at the contact of five relief units, the Iezer-Păpușa Mountains, the Făgăraș Mountains, the Piatra Craiului Mountains, the Leaota Mountains and the Bran - Rucăr - Dragoslavele Corridor. At the contact between the western peaks of the Iezer - Păpușa Mountains and the Bran - Rucăr - Dragoslavele Corridor, the Rucăr tectono-erosive depression developed, which is crossed by the Râușor and its tributaries, and by the Roghina. The peaks located on the territory of the Rucăr commune are: The depressions and micro-depressions located on the side of the valleys in the Rucăr commune are: - The Rucăr Depression on Dâmbovița. - The Sătic Depression with two depression basins, on Dâmbovița. - The Râușor depression on the homonymous valley.

Vila de lângă gondolă, Sinaia
Intrarea pe proprietate dezvăluie o construcție cochetă și vibrantă amplasată pe o pantă blândă; se ajunge la ea pe o cărare cu trepte din lemn ars și piatră, separate de gazon printr-un brâu din pietre, integrându-se astfel perfect în cadrul natural al grădinii. Clădirea, căreia proporția dintre regimul de înălțime DP+P+1E+M și amprenta la sol îi oferă un aer sprințar, este placată cu piatră aflată în contrast cu balustradele de lemn închis și mușcatele ce înfrumusețează terasele și balconul. Acoperișul coboară peste terasă de la parter ca un braț protector în fața vântului și a vremii și suprafețe vitrate largi lasă lumina să scalde interiorul cu generozitate.
Demisolul, ce exploatează diferența naturală de nivel a terenului, este gândit ca spațiu mai degrabă administrativ-logistic – aici sunt plasate o bucătărie, o debara și o pivniță generoasă, centrală termică și spălătoria-calcatorie plus o încăpere de 12 mp.
La parter se află o altă bucătărie și zona de luat masa, camera de zi și două grupuri sanitare. Este spațiul unde se adună familia și prietenii. Trei dormitoare cu trei băi, două terase și un balcon formează zona de noapte căreia îi este dedicat întreg etajul întâi, de unde se poate ieși direct în curtea din spate, străjuită de pădure. Mansarda, compartimentată într-un open space generos, o cameră birou/ dormitor, grup sanitar, hol și debara, poate funcționa ca spațiu suplimentar de zi.
Vila se vinde cu dotările și mobilierul clasic actuale; aceasta include și luxul unor șeminee, în living și în master bedroom, perfecte pentru a te relaxa în ambianța oferită de sunetul lemnelor ce trosnesc în foc, la lumina tăciunilor încinși.
Timpul pare a curge puțin diferit într-o astfel de casă, nu mai încet ci doar mai tihnit. Imaginea munților din față odihnește privirea iar verdele proprietății îi dă un alt ritm – al foșnetului frunzișului și al curgerii line a telegondolei din apropiere. Vila, înconjurată pe trei laturi de pădure, este situată pe Calea Codrului în Sinaia, în imediata vecinătate a Tavernei Sârbului și a stației de telegondolă, adică în locația perfectă pentru iubitorii de ski și nu numai.

Earthen wall, 4-12 meters high, built 1200 years ago by the Byzantine Empire as a limes agains barbarian invasions from the North. Situated in Romania, near the Black Sea, it crosses Dobrogea being visible more than 20km.

Karlovo is a historically important town in central Bulgaria located in a fertile valley along the river Stryama at the southern foot of the Balkan Mountains. It is famous for the worldwide-known rose oil, which is grown there and used in producing perfume. In addition to this, Karlovo is the birthplace of Vasil Levski, revolutionary and national hero of Bulgaria. There is a museum and large monument dedicated to him. Karlovo is also a popular location for tourism in the region.
The 15-metre-high (49-foot) Suchurum (flying water) waterfall is located on the left tributary of Stryama River - Stara Reka, taking its sources from the two tributaries – Malkata Reka (the small river) springing South of the peaks of Ambaritsa and Malak Kupen and Golyamata Reka (the big river) – springing South below the peak of Zhultets.
Koprivshtica was one of the centres of the April uprising in 1876 and is known for its authentic Bulgarian architecture and for its folk music festivals, making it a tourist destination. The town preserves the atmosphere of the Bulgarian National Revival period of the 19th century. Collections of ethnographical treasures, old weapons, National Revival works of art, fretwork, household weaves and embroidery, national costumes and typical Bulgarian jewelry have also been preserved.
