In this video I sum up the best things to do in Quebec (province in Canada) along the Great Trail based on my 1 week lasting road trip.

I spent about 1 week in Canada working together with Québec Original and the local tourism boards to show you an interesting mix of the best things to do in Québec featuring outdoor adventures, sights and food experiences along the Great Trail.
The Trans Canada Trail, being promoted since 2016 as The Great Trail, is claimed to be the world's longest network of recreational trails.
I got the chance to camp by a lake, canoe, paddle, hike, climb, bike and do horseback riding - all the activities you are able to do along the Great Trail. On top of that I had the chance to fly with a seaplane to get to see the Mauricie region from above.
Even though I had only that little time I managed to cover a big part of Quebec from Gantineau all the way over to Quebec City spending most of my time out in the nature

Canadian Rockies Travel Guide | Canada's Most Beautiful Place To Visit
Join us for this Canadian Rockies travel guide as we explore one of Canada's most beautiful places to visit. The big reason we took a road trip from Ontario to Alberta and British Columbia was to see the Rocky Mountains. For Audrey's parents, especially her Dad, it has been a dream to see this beautiful part of Canada for decades. With a chance to finally do it we were all thrilled to visit the Canadian Rockies together as a family with Togo the German Shepherd. The following is everywhere we visited in and around the Canadian Rockies including most of our time spent in Banff National Park and Kootenay National Park in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia:
1) Getting our park passes at Banff National Park for the whole family
2) Exploring the town of Banff including hiking the Bow River Trail and the Banff Springs Hotel
3) Visiting the nearby town of Canmore to walk along Policeman’s Creek Boardwalk Trail
4) Visiting Cascade Ponds where Audrey's sister got married
5) Exploring Lake Minnewanka where you can hike, kayak or canoe
6) Driving through Kootenay Provincial Park
7) Hiking to visit the Paint Pots to visit the pools

Canadian Rockies Travel Guide | Canada's Most Beautiful Place To Visit Video Transcript:
Welcome to the Canadian Rockies! In the last video we showed you the 4-and-a-half day car journey from Ontario, but now it’s time to jump into the sightseeing.
We had 1 full week in the Rockies, splitting our time between both Alberta and British Columbia, and all of our days were spent hiking in woods, visiting the lakes, and just enjoying being surrounded by nature.
This was a family road trip with our trusty family dog Togo in tow, so we’re going to be sharing with you our adventure in what may well be the most beautiful part of Canada!
The Bow River trail is just a few steps from downtown Banff and it follows the riverside.
From there, we walked over to the Banff Springs Hotel. This historic hotel opened up in 1888 it’s one of Canada's grand railway hotels built by the Canadian Pacific Railway. We continued over to Canmore.
From there, we drove over to Lake Minnewanka, which has more of a bluer hue in comparison to the other turquoise and emerald lakes in the Rockies. Lake Minnewanka is a glacial lake 21 kilometres in length, making it the 2nd longest lake in the Rockies. It’s a hub for water activity like boat cruises, kayaking, canoeing, and well, it’s beautiful.
Later that day we drove to Moraine Lake, which is another glacially fed lake. It has a brilliant blue-green colour due to light refracting off the rock sediments, and like most destinations in the Rockies, this one was another stunner.
The views from the shore of Lake Louise were nothing short of stunning, we had Victoria Glacier perfectly framed by mountains on either side, and then the brilliant glacial waters with dotted with red canoes.
Our final destination in the Rockies was Kananaskis Country where we visited Lower Kananaskis Lake and Upper Kananaskis Lake.
The real highlight was finally spotting some wildlife just as we were leaving for the day.
And that’s a wrap for our Rockies Road Trip! We still have lots left to see of our home country, but we can honestly say this is one of the most beautiful destinations in all of Canada.

Val d’Or, une ville industrielle et minière dans la MRC de la Vallée de l’or. Ça sonne bien hein! Vous aurez compris que son nom rappelle la présence d’or dans son sous-sol. Et Justement, son histoire est implicitement liée à cette ressource, parce que la ville est créée à la fin des années 1930, à la faveur du développement des mines d’or. Et elle compte l’un des plus riches sous-sols du Québec, renfermant des minerais d’or, de zinc, de plomb, de cuivre et d’argent.
On découvre aussi le site historique du village minier de Bourlamaque., construit par la compagnie Lamaque Gold Mines Limited pour ses employés. Ici, on retrouve 68 maisons unifamiliales en bois rond, et qui représentent l’habitation du début de la colonisation de L’abitibi. Elles ont tous été construites avec des billes d’épinette blanches et grises lors de l’hiver 1934-35, récupérées à même la foret qui prenait place sur le site. Oui! Vraiment une belle place pour venir marcher!

Suite du road trip en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, une région riche par sa culture et son histoire unique liées à la foresterie et aux mines d’or. On a visité la Cité de l’Or à Val-d’Or, l’occasion de se prendre pour un mineur en descendant dans des galeries à 91m sous terre !
Dans ce vlog, on te fait aussi découvrir le refuge Pageau.
Depuis 1986, la vocation du refuge est d’accueillir et de soigner les animaux blessés ou orphelins dans le but de les remettre en liberté.
Nous avons été attendris et émus par l’histoire de chaque animal parfois orphelin à cause de la chasse, parfois maltraité, souvent blessé par un choc avec une voiture.
L'Abitibi-Témiscamingue, c'est aussi une région où la Nature est reine et préservée avec la forêt boréale et la faune qui l’occupent notamment au parc national d’Aiguebelle.

Val’d-Or Quebec and La Verendrye National Wildlife Reserve: Road Trip 2021 Vol. 2
Val-d'Or in French: Golden Valley or Valley of Gold,is a city in Quebec, Canada with a population of 32,491 . The city is located in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region near La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve.
Gold was discovered in the area in 1923. The name of the town is French for Valley of Gold. While gold is still mined in the area today, base metals, such as copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), and lead (Pb) have become increasingly important resources. The ore is usually found in volcanic rocks that were deposited on the sea floor over 2.7 billion years ago. They are referred to as volcanic-hosted (or volcanogenic) massive sulphide deposits (VMS).[1]
The city is known for its vast parks, cycle tracks, and forests. Some other attractions include the City of Gold and the mining village of Bourlamaque, which were officially proclaimed historic sites in 1979.
The city hosted the Quebec Games in 1987. The local hockey team, the Val-d'Or Foreurs, have played in the QMJHL since 1993, winning the league championship in 1998, 2001 and 2014 to claim a spot in the Memorial Cup. They play at Centre Air Creebec.
La Vérendrye wildlife reserve one of the largest reserves in the province of Quebec,covering 12,589 square kilometres. After La Verendrye we exited through the Appalachian mountains into a series of ascending foothills and pasture lands in Gatineau region.

We are flying 4 sectors from Montreal Mirabel via Val-d'Or and onward to Meadowbank Gold Mine and back. The landing and takeoff at Meadowbank is on gravel so it is spectacular to watch!
The pilots explained all the features on this 37 years old B737-200 Combi with unique gravel kit installed. There are lot of good flying action in this video with primary focus on the operational perspective. Hats off to the hard working crew and those people work in remote places on Earth.
