This is my first visit to the city in 26 years. My family left here in November 1992 and only in November 2018 visited him for the first time.
Ust-Ilimsk is located 240 km north of the city of Bratsk, Irkutsk Region, Eastern Siberia, Russia. The air temperature in Bratsk is -4 ° C, in Ust-Ilimsk -9 ° C.
Between Ust-Ilimsk and Bratsk passes a local route. Travel time takes 3.5-4 hours. On the way, there are only 3 villages: Sedanovo - 90 km from Bratsk, Educhanka - 170 km from Bratsk, and Badarma - 210 km from Bratsk. The rest of the distance is occupied by the hills and taiga.
In Ust-Ilimsk, we looked at our places of origin: Belgradskaya Street, where we lived, school No. 13 and kindergarten * Snowdrop *, which I attended, drove through the streets of Karl-Marx and Mira, went to the shops, cinema * Yarosamа * and the Palace of Culture *Friendship*.
Ust-Ilimsk was surprised by new buildings, but remained the same cozy and beautiful city.

Между Усть-Илимском и Братском проходит трасса местного значения. Время в пути занимает 3,5-4 часа. По дороге встречаются только 3 деревни: Седаново - в 90 км от Братска, Эдучанка - в 170 км от Братска, и Бадарма - в 210 км от Братска. Остальное расстояние занимают сопки и тайга.
В Усть-Илимске мы посмотрели родные места: улицу Белградскую, где мы жили, школу №13 и детский сад *Подснежник*, которые я посещала, проехали по улицам Карла-Маркса и Мира, заходили в магазины, кинотеатр *Яросама* и дворец культуры *Дружба*.
Усть-Илимск удивил новостройками, но остался таким же уютным и красивым городом.

Усть-Илимск | Байкало-Амурская магистраль (БАМ)
Цикл видео о путешествии по БАМу, который был стройкой века, самым дорогим и сложным инфраструктурным объектом в СССР.
Город Усть-Илимск в Иркутской области, город четырёх всесоюзных строек. Напрямую он с БАМом не связан, так как находится на тупиковой линии Хребтовая - Усть-Илимск, но выход к этой линии, к этому городу всё равно осуществляется через старый сталинский БАМ. На этой линии станция Усть-Илимск находится на 215 километре, а сама линия с БАМом стыкуется на 573.
Важное уточнение. Усть-Илимский трамвай НЕ был последней трамвайной системой СССР, но он был одним из последних. Последняя трамвайная система - это Черёмушкинский трамвай, который находится в Хакасии и связывает поселок Черёмушки с Саяно-Шушенской ГЭС.

The fall of a meteorite in the Chelyabinsk region ( Russia - Ural )

Meteorite fell 80 kilometers city from Satka. The blast in the day of the meteorite had shattered windows in many homes and the destruction was Zinc Plant. And also was disrupted cellular communication.
