ककोड़ का किला :-ककोड में ऐतिहासिक किला जिले के प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थलो में से एक होने के बावजूद खंडहर होता जा रहा है। अरावली पर्वत श्रृंखला की 200 मीटर ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित यह किला बेजोड़ स्थापत्य कला के लिए प्रसिद्घ है।
किसी जमाने में यह किला उनियारा के रावराजाओ का प्रशासनिक निवास था। इितहासकारों का मत है कि दूसरी तीसरी सदी में यहां पर मालवों का शासन रहा।
ककोड नगर को मालवों ने अपनी राजधानी बनाया। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इसका निर्माण भी मालवों ने कराया। कई लोगों ने तो किले की स्थापत्य कला को देखकर इसे सम्राट अशोक के समकालीन बताया। वर्तमान में इस प्राचीन किले के अंदर 60 कमरे जीर्ण शीर्ण हालात में मौजूद हैं। किले के अंदर ही दो प्राचीन कुंड भी है तथा तारा हाडी नामक दो बावड़ियां भी हंै तारा बावड़ी में 9 ढाणे हैं , जिससे इसे 9 ढाणों की बावड़ी भी कहते हैं।
किले के अंदर एक गणेश मंदिर भी है , जो प्राचीन समय में ही यहां के शासकों के अाराध्य देव के रूप में पूजनीय थे। मंदिर किले के जीर्ण शीर्ण होने के बाद भी गणेश प्रतिमा सुरक्षित थी, मगर कुछ वर्ष पूर्व असामाजिक तत्वों ने इस प्रतिमा केा खंडित कर दिया , जिसके बाद उनियारा के पूर्व दरबार राव राजा राजेन्द्र सिंह ने पुन: गणेश प्रतिमा की स्थापना की हालांिक अधिकतर सुरंगें मिट्टïी से भर गई हैं।
कहा जाता है कि उस जमाने में इन सुरंगों का उपयोग शत्रु के आक्रमण से बचने गुप्त रहस्य जानने के लिए किया जाता था। यह किला प्रशासनिक उपेक्षा के कारण अभी तक राजस्थान के पर्यटन मानचित्र पर उभर नही पाया है।
