Тутаев — город в Ярославской области России. Он был основан в 1822 году как Романов-Борисоглебск из двух больших городов на противоположных берегах Волги:Романова и Борисоглебска.
Волга делит Тутаев на две части
Правый берег города до сих пор местные жители называют Борисоглебской стороной, а левый - Романовской стороной.
Большевистское правительство СССР переименовало его в Тутаева в должности офицера Красной Армии.
Tutaev is a city in the Yaroslavl region of Russia. It was founded in 1822 as Romanov-Borisoglebsk from two large cities on opposite banks of the Volga: Romanov and Borisoglebsk.
The RiverVolga divides Tutaev into two parts
The right bank of the city is still called by the locals the Borisoglebskaya side, and the left - the Romanovskaya side.
The Bolshevik government of the USSR renamed the city to Tutaev in honour of an officer in the Red Army.

Он возник в результате объединения двух самостоятельных городов — Романова и Борисоглебска, располагавшихся на противоположных берегах Волги и имевших собственные административное и хозяйственное устройство; в память об этом левобережная часть носит название Романовской стороны, а правобережная — Борисоглебской.

Москалевка - Родина выдающихся харьковчан!
Москалевка – один из главных исторических районов Харькова, а точнее – часть Основянского и Новобаварского районов.Основана в XIX веке, активная застройка началась в 1829 году. Тогда улица называлась Москалёвской либо просто Москалёвка — по названию селения Москалёвка. После революции была переименована сначала в улицу Октября, а затем получила название улица Октябрьской революции. В ноябре 2015 года в рамках исполнения закона Украины о декоммунизации городской совет вернул улице историческое название.На Москалевке можно найти много уникальных зданий и мест, которые составляют неповторимую часть истории Харькова.

Тутаев... Два берега...
Сегодня гуляем по уникальному городу - Тутаеву. Почему он уникальный? У него нет моста через Волгу и разные районы города соединяет паром (кстати, прокатимся!); в Воскресенском соборе вас ждёт уникальная икона Спаса и роскошные фрески; а Романовская сторона поразит вас особой атмосферой, не похожей ни на один город Верхневолжья...
А с названием тут, действительно, весело! В 1822 году два старинных русских города, расположенных на противоположных берегах Волги, стали де-юре одним целым - город Романов и город Борисоглебск были объединены в единый город. На карте появился город Романов-Борисоглебск.
7 ноября 1918 года в Романове-Борисоглебске состоялось торжественное собрание, посвящённое первой годовщине Октябрьской революции. И, конечно, главным обсуждавшимся вопросом было переименование города и его уезда.
Название города предлагали сменить. Вариантов было несколько:
Луначарск в честь наркома просвещения А. В. Луначарского;
Ленинск в честь понятно кого;
Разин в честь предводителя крестьянского восстания Степана Разина;
Коммунар-Спартак в честь участников Парижской коммуны и предводителя восстания рабов в Риме одновременно;
Володарск в честь революционера В. Володарского;
Тутаевск в честь рядового красноармейца И. П. Тутаева, погибшего во время подавления Ярославского мятежа.
Остановились на «Тутаевске», но под конец заседания некий Левчук предложил прибавить к названию «Луначарск». Собрание единогласно приняло новое название.
И мировая общественность увидела на карте новый шедевр — Тутаев-Луначарск.
Но на пленарном заседании уездного исполкома в связи с предложением ВЧК оставить «для удобства телеграфных сношений» одно слово в названии дополнение «Луначарск» было убрано, а город было решено называть просто Тутаев.
Но это ещё не всё. В марте 1941 года исполнительным комитетом Ярославского областного совета было решено переименовать Тутаев в... Город имени Менделеева!!! В честь Дмитрия Ивановича, при участии которого был построен Константиновский завод минеральных масел недалеко от города. Однако начавшаяся Великая Отечественная война помешала осуществить задуманное…
Сегодня город гордо именуется Тутаев, но все, даже приехавшие на несколько часов туристы, отчётливо делят его на Борисоглебскую (эту) и Романовскую (ту) стороны. Идём смотреть обе!

Построен он на Борисоглебской стороне. Город до 1918 года назывался Романов-Борисоглебск. Собор построен в традициях ярославского храмового зодчества и впечатляет своими размерами и убранством, как внутренним так и внешним. Строился он с 1652 — 1675 годы.
