The next most common violent crime was robbery, and while homicide rates have historically been high in the United States, they still only accounted for roughly five cases per 100,000 people. Crimes against property are also common in the United States. These include arson, burglary, larceny, and theft or damage to a motor vehicle.

About 200 rapes and over 4,500 thefts are recorded annually in Tennessee. Once a shelter for weary travelers, Texas is now home to various criminal gangs that operate throughout the country. To make matters worse, only about 20% of assaults and robberies are ever recorded by the police and so never make it into national crime statistics. Given the high crime rates in Texas and the speed with which most violent crimes occur here, the chances of becoming a victim of theft, robbery, or any other violent crime are relatively high.

Arnold AFB FamCamp Review. Hi, folks. It’s time for another Military FamCamp review and this time we’re in South Central Tennessee near the town of Tullahoma. In this video we review Arnold Air Force Base FamCamp. Tullahoma, TN, is a great place to stay if you're visiting the area. The Jack Daniel’s Distillery is just 15 miles away in Lynchburg. You may also want to visit beautiful Rutledge Falls and the Beechcraft Aviation Heritage Museum both in Tullahoma.
This FamCamp is a small campground located a few miles off base on Woods Reservoir. It has 36 RV sites, 16 tent sites, and 14 boat wet slips. It is very well-maintained and offers lots of shade. All sites are level concrete slabs, equipped with 20, 30, and 50 amp electric and water. There is no sewage hookup, but there is a dump station in the park. The RV sites have a grill, fire ring, and a picnic table. There is a small boat ramp in the park, but a full-sized boat launch is located within 2 miles. The FamCamp also has a bathhouse with showers and restrooms, a covered pavilion and a playground. There are no laundry facilities, but you’ll find many more amenities nearby on base. Arnold AFB FamCamp is a very popular campground, so it's important to make reservations in advance, especially if you're planning to visit during the peak season. The campground is located in a densely wooded area, so your satellite or Starlink might be unable to connect. There is Wi-Fi available and you can get the password from the office or find it posted on the bathhouse doors. We had 3 to 4 bars with Verizon. The campground is pet-friendly, but pets must be on a leash at all times. Arnold Air Force Base is a great place to visit if you're interested in aviation. There are several museums and historical sites in the area, as well as a number of outdoor activities to enjoy, such as hiking and fishing. Overall, we highly recommend Arnold AFB FamCamp. It's a great place to stay with a beautiful view and quiet wooded surroundings. The staff is friendly and helpful. And until we see you again, fair winds and following seas.

Did you know that Tennessee has more than 874 waterfalls? Many of them are on private property, but there are at least 80 inside State Parks for the public to view. I picked these 3 waterfalls because all of them are easy to view with minimal effort. These would be great for anyone with a disability, handicap, or someone with little ones. I know that it may be harder for some people to visit certain places, so I created a list of places that are easily accessible for anyone that wants to enjoy God's graceful earth, without the hike. The top 3 waterfalls: Twin Falls, Bald River Falls, and Fall Creek Falls are all wheel chair accessible to view from the top and are just a short distance from the parking lot. It can be more strenuous to get to the bottom of the falls. All of these places also offer hiking, trails, swimming holes, fishing, and more falls along the river. Read details about each waterfall below.
Tips for viewing waterfalls:
1. Don't park in the road. I've seen so many people's day get ruined when they come back from their adventure to a ticket on their windshield. Park in designated areas only. If there's nowhere to park, drive around until there is.
2. Don't litter. Every single person is there to enjoy that beautiful place. Trash looks terrible, destroys ecosystems, and wreaks havoc on the water systems. Bonus points if you pick it up!????
3. Wear the right shoes. Flip flops are not recommended. A twisted ankle is a sure way to end your fun day.
4. If you decide to go exploring on your own, always let a loved one know exactly where you're going and when you'll be back. Keep your phone charged. Bring a whistle in case you lose service and you have a fall and can't get up.
5. Take a picture of the posted map. If you get turned around on a trail, this may come in handy.
6. Read the posted signs before you start and pay attention to your surroundings. You’re in nature, with wildlife all around you. Watch out for snakes, mountain lion, bear, etc.
About the top 3 Waterfalls:
1. Twin Falls at Rock Island State Park is the prettiest fall in Tennessee, in my opinion. There is a viewing deck right next to a parking lot and extra parking near the trails. The trails have been closed when I have visited there before, but you can still enjoy Twin Falls even if the trails are closed. It is possible to hike to the bottom of the falls by rock hopping. It’s accessibility all depends on the water levels. The Caney Fork River is dam controlled, so if you're down there and hear sirens, get to higher ground fast. The currents are strong here and not meant for swimming, but you can find a swimming hole off one of the trails. In the summer, you may be able to spot some kayakers performing flips and playing in the falls. That's always good entertainment! ???? Check out this full video of Kayakers having fun here.
2. Bald River Falls in Cherokee National Forest tops my list as the easiest waterfall to view. It can be viewed by just simply driving by it. There is a parking lot just past the bridge and it fills up fast. Arrive early for a good spot. The drive here is magnificent. Take your time and soak it in. It's just down the road from the Cherohala Skyway and Tellico Plains. Driving is the best way to see the beauty in this part of Tennessee. There are plenty of pull-offs and overlooks. Weekdays are the least busy, if you're trying to avoid a crowd.
3. Fall Creek Falls is the tallest waterfall in Tennessee at 256 ft. It is inside Fall Creek Falls State Park. This is one of the state's biggest and most visited parks. This place is our family's favorite weekend getaway spot. It offers RV camping, tent camping, cabins, a lodge, a swimming pool, visitor's center, nature center, and so much more. Plus, there are numerous waterfalls, swimming holes, and miles of trails.

Tennessee has AMAZING waterfalls!! Rutledge Falls was the 1st of our 6 waterfalls that we saw on our 3600 mile trip. Beautiful falls and cold cold water! What an adventure! We didn't know it at the time, but Tate wasn't feeling the best. He was such a trooper!

A Moment in Nature | Rutledge Falls | Tullahoma, Tn. | ASMR Nature
Rutledge Falls is located on private property in Tullahoma, Tn. The owners do graciously allow public access from dawn to dusk. It is a popular swimming hole on our hot Tennessee days in the summer.

This 1.5 mile loop in Tullahoma Tn has an awesome waterfall.
