The final state in the epic US Route 89 road trip is Arizona, and it definitely will not leave you disappointed. I took 89A as opposed to 89 in two different spots and both were spectacular. The first half of the state is as scenic as it gets. You'll run into a few cities in the 2nd half but it's still a very enjoyable trek. Overall, Arizona is one of the most beautiful states in the USA to explore and US Route 89 hits a bunch of great areas!

Tuba City, Arizona - Driving Tour 4K
Tuba City (Navajo: Tó Naneesdizí) is an unincorporated town in Coconino County, Arizona, on Navajo lands, United States. It is the second-largest community in Coconino County. The population of the census-designated place (CDP) was 8,611 at the 2010 census. It is the Navajo Nation's largest community, slightly larger than Shiprock, New Mexico, and the headquarters of the Western Navajo Agency. The Hopi village of Moenkopi lies directly to its southeast.
The name of the town honors Tuuvi, a Hopi man from Oraibi who converted to Mormonism. The Navajo name for Tuba City, Tó Naneesdizí translates as tangled waters, which probably refers to the many below-ground springs that are the source of several reservoirs.
Tuba City is located within the Painted Desert near the western edge of the Navajo Nation. The town is situated on U.S. Route 160, near the junction with Arizona State Route 264. Tuba City is located approximately 50 miles (80 km) from the eastern entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and approximately 78 miles (126 km) from Flagstaff. Most of Tuba City's residents are Navajo, with a small Hopi minority. It is located within Arizona's 1st Congressional District, currently represented by Tom O'Halleran.

In this episode we visit the wonderful town of Sedona. Although it may look nice to most people we weren't as surprised as other people, probably because of all the things we saw before (Nautilus, Smoky Mt. Rd., ....). Afterwards we drove further, through the town of Jerome, to Ehrenberg.

US Highway 89 - Flagstaff to Tuba City (US160) - Arizona | Drive America's Highways ????
???? Drive America's Highways for 67 miles north along US-89 from Flagstaff to Tuba City, Arizona
We start the video leaving Flagstaff driving north on U.S. Highway 89. Soon after, we make a brief turn to check out Sunset Volcano N.M. before turning back onto 89.
As we continue north, we descend out of the Wupatki National Monument, passing through the Gray Mountain community before we reach the town of Cameron, where a traffic circle has been put in at the intersection with AZ-64 (Grand Canyon.) Note: If you need ANYTHING along this stretch, this is where to do it. Next populated area is Page, about 45 minutes north.
Leaving Cameron, we cross the Little Colorado River as we drive through pretty barren landscapes, about 15 miles. Soon, we reach the only major turn off on this highway since Cameron -- the intersection with US-160, where we turn east and end the video.
