10/2020 Denkmal des Monats: Jüterbog
Am 30. Oktober war die AG Historische Stadtkerne in Jüterbog zu Gast, um das Torwächterhaus am Dammtorturm als Denkmal des Monats auszuzeichnen. Bei Regen und guter Laune freuten wir uns, dass die Veranstaltung trotz Corona doch noch im kleinen Rahmen stattfinden konnte.
Das Torwächterhaus diente dem Torwächter als Unterkunft, der das Tor öffnete und schloss und für die Erhebung des Geleitzolls verantwortlich war. Seit 1939 ist es im Besitz der Kirche und beherbergt heute eine offene Jugend-Begegnungsstätte.

Impressive Beelitz Heilstaetten visit (Tour 2023)
This tour in Beelitz-Heilstätten gives an overview about the former Heilstätten (Healing place) area which can be visited either by using the impressive toptree walk or like normal on the ground.
On you can find a map of the walk and some useful link for your visit. Unfortunately we were not able to access the buildings. To do that you need to register in a group walk in advance with a guide.

Beelitzer Heilstätten. Ausflüge rund um Berlin: Teil 10 (7/2017) HD
Die zwischen 1898 und 1930 von der Landesversicherungsanstalt Berlin errichteten Arbeiter-Lungenheilstätten Beelitz-Heilstätten bilden einen der größten Krankenhauskomplexe im Berliner Umland. Es ist ein denkmalgeschütztes Ensemble von 60 Gebäuden auf einer Gesamtfläche von ca. 200 ha.
Das Video zeigt die Sehenswürdigkeiten der heutigen Anlage, die sowohl parterre im Rahmen einer Führung oder durch einen fantastischen - bis zu 45 Meter in der Luft befindlichen Gehweg - erschlossen ist.

Auf der Landesgartenschau Beelitz (Brandenburg), Juli 2022, (????????)
Die Landesgartenschau Beelitz 2022 findet unter dem Motto „Gartenfest für alle Sinne“ vom 14. April bis zum 31. Oktober 2022 in der brandenburgischen Stadt Beelitz südwestlich von Berlin statt. Dazu wurde eine Parklandschaft beiderseits des Flüsschens Nieplitz südlich der Altstadt von Beelitz angelegt. Die Stadtpfarrkirche St. Marien und St. Nikolai wird als Blumenhalle genutzt. Das 1990 stillgelegte Klärwerk wurde zum Amphitheater mit Naturbühne umgebaut.
