SLOVENIA | Hiking in the Julian Alps: Tolmin Gorge & Slap Kozjak
Welcome back to another Slovenia vlog! Today we are exploring the beauty of the Julian Alps!
In this video we take 2 short hikes in Triglav National Park.
First, we did a short 3.5km hike to one of Slovenia's most stunning waterfalls. This short hike is called Slap Kozjak. The hike is right outside of Kobarid and is part of the Kobarid Historic Trail that highlights all the major sites in the area. You could consider hiking the historic trail if you wanted something longer!
The next day we hiked the Tolmin Gorge, also known as Tolminska Korita. It is a gorgeous natural wonder and one of the most popular attractions in the Soča Valley area. This hike should take you no more than 1.5 hours to see all the viewpoints. This hike was a highlight of our time in Slovenia, although we enjoyed every moment we spent in this beautiful country!

Slovenia a country in Central Europe is known for its mountains, ski resorts, ziplining and lakes. Slovenia was a part of Yugoslavia for most of the 20th century and gained its independence from Yugoslavia in June 1991 and is today a member of the European and NATO.
Slovenia is a perfect place for adventure seekers and nature lovers. The longest and most spectacular zipline park in Europe can be found near Bovec, the Soca Valley in the Western Slovenia.
This country is home to one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and some of the best ski resorts in Europe.

AS THE BIKEPACKING JOURNEY HAD CONTINUED, WE HAD ENDED SLOVENIA WITH A FANTASTIC START. THE WEATHER WAS PERFERCT THE WHOLE TIME WE WHERE THERE. WE HAD ENTERED TOLMIN ON OUR 4TH DAY OF ENTERING SLOVENIA AND HAD STAYED FOR 3 NIGHT AS WE NEEDED SOME REST DAYS AFTER THE BIG CLIMBS OVER THE MOUNTAINS, ABSOLUTLEY STUNNING TOWN OF TOLMIN DID NOT DISSAPOINT NOT 1 LITTLE BIT. THE MOUNTAINS WERE ABSOLUTLEY STUNNING AND GREEN AND MONSTEROUS! SO I HAD TO THROUGH UP MY DJI MINI 3 PRO TO CATCH THIS AMAZING SCENERY! NOT TO FAR FROM THE TOWN IS THE UNREAL AND BEAUTIFUL TOLMIN GORGE WHICH WE HAD SEEN ON OUR 2ND REST DAY! NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE THIS PLACE! IF YOU ARE THINKING OF VISITING EUROPE I 100% RECOMMEND TO GO TO SLOVENIA AND TO VISIT THIS AMAZING AND STUNNING TOWN OF TOLMIN, THE PEOPLE WERE ABSOLUTLEY NICE AND RESPECTFUL!
