Stone Carving Work in Sikandra(Dausa, Rajasthan) | Bansi Paharpur Sandstone Crafting
85 km from Jaipur lies this place called Sikandra. On my recent visit to Dausa district of Rajasthan, I took a break to see the amazing Stone Carving work being done on the road sides here by hand and by machine. It can be seen on a stretch of 7-10 km in Sikandra area of the district.
On both sides of the road you will find dozens of craftsmen working day and night to make beautiful designs on the white and pink sandstone which comes from Bansi Paharpur near Bayana(Bharatpur District).
This stone has been used in construction of Swaminayan Akshardham of New Delhi, Ambedkar Parks in Noida and Lucknow and at many other well known temples and hotels in and outside India, not even that but people use them at their homes too. Although they are costly but for sure they can be called as a permanent value asset.

A Surprising Journey from Mehandipur Balaji to Vrindavan and Beyond!
So, we made a sudden plan to visit Mehandipur Balaji and started our journey from Shamli to Balaji. And this was our second day. we did the Darshans and again made a sudden plan to go to Vrindavan but unfortunately Mandirs were closed till the time we reached there. so again we planned and went to watch JOHN WICK in Noida and after that we came back to Shamli. Balaji Temple ( Devanagari : बालाजी मंदिर) in Mehandipur, Karauli district on the border of Karauli district and Dausa district , is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu deity Hanuman . The name Balaji refers to Shri Hanuman in several parts of India because of the childhood ( Bala in Hindi or Sanskrit) form of the Lord is especially celebrated there. The temple is dedicated to Balaji (another name for Shree Hanuman Ji). Unlike similar religious sites it is located in a town rather than the countryside. Its reputation for ritualistic healing and exorcism of evil spirits attracts many pilgrims from Rajasthan and elsewhere.
The temple of Balaji Maharaj built in Mehandipur is very famous especially in northern part of India. The first Mahant of the temple was Shri Ganeshpuriji Maharaj and the present Mahant of the temple Shri Naresh Puriji Maharaj is very strict to follow vegetarian and reading holy books.
It is believed that a person who is suffering from evil spirits (Sankatwalas) get relief from distress by methods like Arji, Sawamani, and Darkhast. Bhog of Boondi ke Laddu offering to Shri Balaji Maharaj, Rice and Urad pulse to Bhairav Baba (Kotval Kaptan, head of army and Shri Pretraj Sarkar, king of evil spirits). Saturday and Tuesday are the busiest days in the temple because both these days are the days of Hanumanji. Some other temples near Balaji temple are Shri Sitaram Darbar, Samadhi Wale Baba (the first mahant), are some important temples in Mehandipur Balaji.
The temple has been known for many years, for exorcism from evil spirits attachments and black magic or spells. In 2013, an international team of scientist, scholars and psychiatrists from Germany, Netherlands, AIIMS, New Delhi, and University of Delhi started a study to evaluate all aspects of treatment and rituals at the temple.
The temple is situated in Brahmbad, Dausa District near Todabhim of the Indian state of Rajasthan. The village is situated at the border of two districts- Karauli and Dausa. And the temple is also divided as half and another half in districts by border. It is 109 km from Jaipur.
Divided into two districts (Karauli and Dausa) of Rajasthan State, Ghata Mehdipur place is 30 km from Bandikui Junction railway station situated in centre on Delhi-Agra-Jaipur line. Which is the nearest railway station from Mehandipur Balaji. 24 hours bus, jeep, taxi etc. facility is available from Bandikui Junction to Mehandipur Balaji Dham. Direct buses going to Jaipur from Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Aligarh etc all stop at Mehandipur Balaji turn.
इस मंदिर की मान्यता है कि यहां आने से भूत दूर भागते है और हनुमान दी भक्तों की हर इच्छा को पूरा करते हैं. वहीं शरीर से बुरी आत्मा को निकालने के लिए लोग मंदिर के बाहर रेलिंग पर खुद को बांध लेते हैं. इसके अलावा आप यहां के पंडितों को बालाजी की मूर्ति से निकलने वाले पवित्र जल का उपयोग कर भूत भगाते और मंत्रों का जाप करते हुए देख सकते हैं.
इन सभी चीजों की वजह से ही इस मंदिर में कई कड़े नियम भी बनाए गए है. अगर आप इस मंदिर में दर्शन के लिए जाना चाहते हैं तो आपको एक हफ्ते के लिए वेजिटेरियन भोजन खाना होगा.
इसके साथ ही आप मंदिर में मिलने वाले प्रसाद को खाना, वापस लाना या उसे बांट नहीं सकते. आपको उस प्रसाद को वहीं फेंककर और बिना पीछे देखे आपको उससे दूर जाना होता है.
वहीं हनुमान जी के दर्शन के बाद भक्त यहां भैरव बाबा के दर्शन करते हैं. बता दें कि भैरव बाबा को कोतवाल कप्तान या श्री प्रेतराज सरकार के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. इस मंदिर में फोटोग्राफी या वीडियोग्राफी पर बैन है. मंदिर में शनिवार और मंगलवार के दिन काफी भीड़ देखने को मिलती है.
ये प्रसिद्ध मंदिर दो जिलों करौली और दौसा की सीमा पर बना हुआ है. जो जयपुर से सिर्फ 109 किमी और दिल्ली से करीब 300 किमी की दूरी पर है.

Got to know about a very good place - Koheda Gutta⛰️ for trekking from a friend.
Decided to peddle to that place and the distance was 80km from my location.

Had to wake up at 4'O clock⏰ in the morning and started at 5:30AM. Reached my destination by 11:00 AM, made new friends, took few good pics of myself, closed my eyes and felt the places for hours and started my return journey at 1:00PM and reached home by 7:00 PM.

Discovered 140 Years Old Church In Rajasthan | A Hidden Gem Of Bandikui | Charlie TV
Welcome to my first video from my hometown and this time, I discovered a hidden gem of Rajasthan. I visited Rajasthan’s oldest church which was built around 140 years ago in Bandikui, a small town located 97 km from Jaipur. In 1873, first railway station was built in Bandikui and then Britishers built this church after few years. The church has been vandalised and its ruined.
