Sadly my time in India has come to an end and today I will fly out of the New Delhi airport in India. I was not too happy with the way the security guards operated at the airport as they were a bit disrespectful with my personal belongings. Triyuginarayan Temple (Sanskrit: त्रियुगी-नारायण) is a Hindu temple located in the Triyuginarayan village in Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand, India. The ancient temple is dedicated to the god Vishnu. Its fame is credited to the legend of god Shiva’s marriage to goddess Parvati witnessed by Vishnu at this venue and is thus a popular Hindu pilgrimage site. A special feature of this temple is a perpetual fire, that burns in front of the temple. The flame is believed to burn from the times of the divine marriage. Thus, the temple is also known as Akhand Dhuni temple.
The temple courtyard is also the source of a water stream, which fills three sacred bathing ponds (kunds) nearby.
यह मंदिर अत्यंत प्राचीन हिन्दू मंदिर है जोकि उत्तराखंड के रुद्रप्रयाग जिले के त्रियुगीनारायण गांव में स्थित है। भगवान विष्णु इस मंदिर में माता लक्ष्मी व भूदेवी के साथ विराजमान है। माता पार्वती ने कठोर तपस्या कर भगवान शिव को विवाह हेतु प्रसन्न किया और भगवान शिव ने माता पार्वती के प्रस्ताव को स्वीकार किया
त्रियुगीनारायण मंदिर की मान्यतायें
माना जाता है कि त्रियुगीनारायण मंदिर त्रेतायुग से स्थापित है। इस मंदिर में आज भी अग्निकुंड में अग्नि जलती है यहां प्रसाद के रूप में लकड़ियां डाली जाती है इस अग्निकुंड में श्रद्धालु धूनी भी लेकर जाते है ताकि उनके वैवाहिक जीवन मे सदा सुख-शांति बनी रहे। विवाह से पहले सभी देवी-देवताओं ने जिस कुण्ड में स्नान किया था, उन सभी कुण्डों में स्थान करने से संतानहीनता से मुक्ति मिलती है व मनुष्य को संतान की प्राप्ति होती है।
पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार राजा बलि ने इन्द्रासन पाने की इच्छा से सौ यज्ञ करने का निश्चय किया और निन्यानबे यज्ञ होने के पश्चात भगवान विष्णु वामन अवतार धारण करके राजा बलि का अंतिम यज्ञ भंग कर दिया, तबसे इस स्थान पर भगवान विष्णु की वामन देवता अवतार में पूजा-अर्चना की जाती है।

Amrutheshwara Temple - Ancient Hoysala temple in Chikmagalur
The best route to reach Amrutheshwara Temple from Bangalore is via Hiriyur and Hosadurga.
If you are traveling from Chikkamagaluru or Shivamogga, you can reach the place via Tarikere.
Amrutesvara Temple is 260 km from Bangalore
48 km from Shivamogga
65 km from Chikkamagaluru
Amrutheshwara Temple was built in the year 1196 by Amrutheshwara Dandanayaka under the rule of Hoysala King Veera Ballala II.This temple is a classic example of ancient Hoysala architecture.
Miniature decorative towers on the exterior walls of the temple are one of the unique features of this temple. This temple is in the ekakuta style with just one vimana, unlike other trikuta temples built by Hoysalas at Somnathpur and Belur.
The Tower of the temple is adorned with the sculptures of kirthimukhas and miniature decoratives. Mallitamma, believed to be one of the great architects of the Hoysala dynasty, started his career as a sculptor here in the Amrutheshwara Temple, which adds to the historical importance of this temple.
The exterior wall of the temple has panel sculptures, scenes from Hindu epics and legends.
The rows of shining lathe turned pillars that support the ceiling of the mantapa depict Hoysala-Chalukya decorative characteristics.
The main deity of the temple is Lord Shiva and the shiva linga at the temple is a 300-year-old Trimurti brought from the River Kandikevale in Nepal.
On the auspicious day of Sankranthi and Mahashivaratri, thousands of devotees visit this place to take the blessings of Lord Shiva.

कटंगी - तिरोड़ी नई रेल लाइन के बारे में :
1) 13 जून 2011 को हुआ था इस परियोजना का भूमिपूजन,
2) कटंगी से तिरोड़ी के बीच ग्राम अर्जुन नाला, चिकमरा, चौखंडी, पौनिया, हीरापुर होते हुए गुज़रती है रेलवे लाइन,
3) कटंगी से तिरोड़ी से बीच केवल एक पौनिया पैसेंजर हाल्ट बनाया गया है,
4) निर्माण एजेंसी गुजरात इंफ्राकॉन थी,
5) कुल 42 छोटे-बड़े पुलों का किया गया है निर्माण,
6) कुल लम्बाई 16 किमी है,
7) नई लाइन का सीआरएस निरिक्षण 21 मार्च 2021 को किया गया था,
8) तिरोड़ी कटंगी बालाघाट सेक्शन का एक साथ विद्युतीकरण सीआरएस निरिक्षण 9 जुलाई 2021 को किया गया था,
9) यह नई रेल लाइन बालाघाट से नागपुर के बीच वैकल्पिक रेल लाइन के तौर पर काम करेंगी,
10) 8 मार्च 2022 को गोंदिया से कटंगी के मध्य चलने वाली डेमू ट्रेन का तिरोड़ी तक विस्तार करके इस रूट में पहली बार पैसेंजर सेवाए शुरू की गई थी,
11) फिलहाल तिरोड़ी से गोंदिया के बीच डेमू ट्रेन के दो फेरे और तिरोड़ी से तुमसर के बीच डेमू ट्रेन का एक फेरा चलाया जा रहा है |
