Crystal Mountain, Michigan - 2019/2020 before and after snowfall | 4K drone footage
Crystal Mountain Resort is a resort and conference center located in Weldon Township, Benzie County, Michigan, just west of Thompsonville. The resort offers recreational activities including downhill and cross country skiing the winter months, and golf, water activities, and an alpine slide in other seasons. Recent visit to the mountain before the New Years in bad, rainy weather and only artificial snow covering the slopes compared to fresh snowfall in the area. 2019/2020 difference captured by drone around the resort.

Frankfort is a city in Benzie County with a population around 1300 people. The city is situated with Lake Michigan to the west and Lake Betsie, formed by the Betsie River before flowing into Lake Michigan. The city is on M-22 just north of Elberta. The Frankfort North Breakwater Lighthouse is at the end of the northern breakwater in Lake Michigan.

I've read that Michigan's Upper Peninsula hosts over 200 waterfalls. While quite a few of them are nothing more than falling rapids, there are some that will surprise you. Let us introduce you to a few of the waterfalls of Michigan's UP North.

Destination Michigan - Season 12, Episode 1
On this episode of Destination Michigan, we’ll get things started on the docks in Mackinaw City and prepare for a state-of-the-art ferry ride to Mackinac Island. The Shepler family is our tour guide and we’ll climb aboard their newest vessel, the William Richard. Next, from the Straits of Mackinac we’ll head west to Petoskey for a visit to Sweetwater Floral where the flower arrangements pack a brilliant pop of color. Then, we’ll raise your spirits with a trip to Croze Nest in Grand Rapids where the owner of Michigan’s only cooperage is building barrels for use in distilleries across the state. Finally, we conclude this episode with a look back at the images from the 1976 fire in Otsego County and learn of the internationally known fire-fighter who helped extinguish the blaze.
