We spent 4 lovely days in The Ardennes, Belgium. This time we brought our tent for some very relaxing moments at the banks of the Amblève river. We love the outdoors and really enjoyed making this relaxing video.
The Ardennes region covers a little bit of each of three countries: France, Belgium and Luxembourg... between magical forests, spectacular landscapes, inviting valleys, ancient fortresses, and picturesque towns and villages…

Sie beendet den Ausflug im Stadtwald mit einem Begleiter auf vier Hufen.

City in Germany
Aachen is a spa city near Germany’s borders with Belgium and the Netherlands. Aachen Cathedral was founded around 800 A.D. and a Gothic chancel was added later.
Its Domschatzkammer (treasury) has medieval artifacts including the shrine of Charlemagne, who was buried here in 814 A.D. Nearby is the baroque town hall, Aachener Rathaus, with 19th-century frescoes. Sulfurous water fills the fountains of Elisenbrunnen.

Op zoek naar de watervallen: 'De vallei van de Tolifaz' I hiking/wandeling Ardennen (Theux)
Vertrekkend aan de kerk van La Reid gingen we op zoek naar de watervallen aan de Tolifaz. Gedurende tweederde van het jaar staan de watervallen droog, maar bij dooi of na langdurige regenval dondert het water tussen de rotsblokken naar beneden.
Het was een gok...twee weken geleden was de dooi ingetreden, dan nog een week regen en een week zon...we waren benieuwd of de watervallen er nog waren...of...we ze zouden vinden? Het juiste pad vinden naar de kloof blijkt namelijk niet zo makkelijk...
