There is only one Snack Food Capital of the World and it is in Hanover PA. I am going to give you a tour of the snack food festival held each year in Hanover Pennsylvania York County. There are so many snack food factories in this small town. You have Utz Potato Chips, Martins, Snyder's of Hanover and so many more. If you visit this area you have to take one of the snack tours. Ghost Town Daniels, MD Drone Tour
A video tour of Daniels, MD, an abandoned town inside of Patapsco State Park.
About a mile inside of the park are the ruins of an old town that was abandoned in the late 1960's and then mostly destroyed by tropical storm Agnes in 1972. A few interesting artifacts remain: The Saint Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, some old cars, a graveyard, and The Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Also remaining in the town are the bases of some old houses, some stone walls, and additional cars / car parts in the forest. However, in the video I tried to only include the most interesting bits of what remain.

I visited the Eisenhower National Historic Site in Gettsyburg during a 2017 RV road trip. The site is accessed via the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center. This video cover the grounds and house.

Real time dash-cam video of a drive from just north of Mount Airy MD to just outside Taneytown MD 01/17/2021. I set Google Maps/Directions for walking instead of driving to get off the main roads and enjoy the beautiful Maryland countryside. This was recorded using a Chortau WDR dash-cam in the late afternoon.

Our cabins are perfect for weekend getaways, romantic getaways, family vacations, reunions, group activities, retreats and much, much more. Our full housekeeping cabins range from 1-8 bedrooms. Full cabins have a kitchen equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, utensils & cookware, linens, fire ring, picnic table and BBQ grill. All of our cabins are non smoking.
We offer 4 Camper Units, featuring 2 beds, air conditioner and electric. They are a step between camping and full size cabins.
Most cabins have wood burning fireplaces. All cabins except the Log cabin and Camper Units have satellite TV.
Reservation Policy
We require 72-hour notice when booking an online reservation. If you are attempting to book a reservation less than 72 hours from your arrival date, you must call 1-800-333-8007 to make a reservation with our Customer Service Specialist or a BSR Team Member.
Reservations require a two night minimum stay for weekends. Holiday weekends are a three night minimum stay. A campsite reservation requires full payment at the time of reservation. A cabin reservation requires half of the payment at the time of reservation.

Cabin Policy
Check in time is 4:00 PM. All guests must register at the Store. We welcome you prior to check in time. Our Resort has many Activities you can take advantage of while you are waiting to Check In. Cabin check out time is 11:00 AM.
All Cabins are non-smoking.
All cabin guests must register at the store to receive a resort pass.

Pet Policy
Pets are welcome at Blue Springs Ranch! If you are staying anywhere on the resort grounds your pet must remain on a leash at all times.
Pets are allowed in cabins and will incur a $25 Pet Fee. Limit two pets per cabin. All pets must be registered at time of check in at the store. When registering a pet, you will be required to sign an agreement stating that you agree to pay for any damages your pet has caused including but not limited to physical damages or extraordinary cleaning. You will be asked to leave credit card information on file with your signature authorizing us to charge your card for a Pet fees if necessary.
Pets are NOT to be left in an unoccupied cabin unless they are kenneled. If you abuse the pet policy, you may not be allowed to make future reservations.

After touching down in MD and getting settled in, we paid a visit to the Carroll County Farm/Agricultural Museum as another one of our tourist stops.
