Sylvan Lake Beach | Best Beach in Alberta | Canada
This was the first thing we did this summer. Visiting Sylvan Lake Beach. This beach is very popular for its clean and warm water. You can bring your own BBQ or Food. There are lots of restaurants right across the street from the beach. It is halfway between Edmonton and Calgary. So people from both cities come here often for a relaxing beach day.

Hello and welcome to another episode of our roadtrip and tour as we tour around the Town of Sylvan Lake which is located 25 km west of the City of Red Deer, Alberta. There's alot of people on the beach at Sylvan Lake Park as it is also a Heritage Day long weekend. We already tackle the QE II Highway NORTH (Alberta Highway 2) from Calgary to Red Deer and to Edmonton, that's why our video starts right after Innisfail, Alberta before Alberta Highway 42 Exit. Sylvan Lake in Alberta , Canada is town of around 16,000 people with a nice relaxed vibe. It offers relaxing sunny beach along the lake during summer and nice friendly locals . This town is 162 Kms from Edmonton, the Capital city of Alberta and takes 1hr44minutes drive. Starting around May Long Weekend till middle of October most of the businesses along the lake are open . July and August are best months to be here in the middle of summer.
