Historic Town Tour | Midwest - Dekalb & Sycamore, IL

Walking and driving tour through historic small Midwest towns, Dekalb & Sycamore Illinois. Dekalb has two historic districts, Huntley Park and Ellwood North Fifth Ward, while Sycamore has one, Sycamore Historic District, which contains approximately 187 contributing properties. Our video tour takes us through portions of all three of these districts with styles Italianate, Victorian, Queen Anne, Second Empire, Classic Revival, Colonial Revival, Art Deco, Romanesque and more. Dekalb is also home to Northern Illinois University, although not included in our tour, the campus also contains numerous historic buildings.
