Coimbatore is a city in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. To the northwest is the centuries-old, Dravidian-style Arulmigu Subramaniyaswami Temple, Marudamalai. Top 10 Places To Visit In Coimbatore :
1. Adiyogi Shiva Statue :
Adiyogi Lord Shiva Statue at Isha Yoga Center of Coimbatore is the largest bust sculpture in the world, Designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and weighs around 500 tonnes. The 112 foot tall statue of Lord Shiva is located at the foothills of Velliangiri Mountains and inaugurated by Narendra ModiJi as well as part of official Incredible India campaign.
2. Marudha Malai Hill Temple :
The Marudhamalai hill temple is located at a towering height of 500 ft in the highland on the Western Ghats.
15 kms away to north-west of Coimbatore city, the temple has an excellent invigorating atmosphere. Vehicles are allowed to pass through the Marudhamalai temple and the devasthanam has granted three buses from the low slope of the hill to get through the temple on top. The Marudhamalai temple has its main deity as Lord Muruga and the temple attributes quite delightful facilities to the habitu making their visit a comforting one while offering their prayer to the deity. The major feature of this hill is that it grows important medicinal herbs, which is used extensively in making ayurvedic medicines
3. Dhyana linga Yogic Temple :
Dhyanalinga Yogic temple of Coimbatore is dedicated for meditation and one of its kind in India. The temple offers a meditative space with powerful and unique energy.
4. Velliangiri Mountains :
Velliangiri Mountains at the border of Coimbatore district are known as Kailash of the South India. The Velliangiri hills are part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and famous trekking place near Coimbatore.
5. Black Thunder :
Black Thunder Water Theme Park located at the foot of Nilgiris near Mettupalayam. The park offers 49 different joy rides and one of the popular tourist attractions in Coimbatore.
6. Siruvani Water Falls :

Within half an hour's drive from the city of Coimbatore stands the shrine of Vinayagar at Eachanari dedicated to the Elephant God Ganesh. The temple follows typical Dravidian style architecture and is imbibed with a peaceful spiritual vibe around it. The story of the deity follows a myth that has been passed down from one generation to the next. The tale of a cart getting stuck in the mud and a temple being created as per the God's wish a common and recurring folklore heard in many places all around India. It is more or less the same here as well.

It is a town located in the state of west bengal. Once it was built by the British and soon it became famous for tea cultivation. Darjeeling tea is the best in the world. Darjeeling is located at an average elevation of 2042m. Distance between Siliguri and Darjeeling is nearly 61km. One can go there by car, share jeep or bus. उतराखंड का एक खूबसूरत टूरिस प्लेस - जोशीमठ, joshimath top 10 tourist places
जोशीमठ एक पवित्र शहर है जो उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में स्थित है। समुद्र स्तर से 6000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित यह शहर बर्फ से ढकी हिमालय पर्वतमालाओं से घिरा हुआ है। यह स्थल हिंदू धर्म के लोगों के लिए प्रतिष्ठित जगह है और यहां कई मंदिर भी स्थापित हैं। जोशीमठ, आदि शंकराचार्य द्वारा 8 वीं सदी में स्थापित किए जाने वाले चार मठों में से एक है।
यहां हिंदू धर्म के लिखित वेद अथर्ववेद का पाठ, पवित्र माना जाता है। इस शहर को पूर्व काल में कार्तिकेयपुरा के नाम से जाना जाता था। उत्तराखंड आकर जोशीमठ की सैर के लिए अवश्य आना चाहिए। यह जगह कामाप्रयाग क्षेत्र में स्थित है जहां नदी धौलीगंगा और नदी अलकनंदा मिलती हैं। जोशीमठ, चमोली जिले के ऊपरी क्षेत्रों में ट्रैकिंग का अवसर भी प्रदान करता है। क्षेत्र का सबसे प्रसिद्ध ट्रैकिंग मार्ग जोशीमठ से शुरू होते हैं और पर्यटकों को फूलों की घाटी की ओर ले जाते हैं।
क्या ख़ास है जोशीमठ के आस पास :
जोशीमठ में कई लोकप्रिय पर्यटन स्थल हैं जहां पर्यटक आराम से सैर कर सकते हैं। इनमें से एक है - कल्पवृक्ष, जो देश का सबसे पुराना पेड़ माना जाता है। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, लगभग 1200 पुराने इस वृक्ष के नीचे आदि गुरू शंकराचार्य ने घोर तपस्या की थी। कल्पवृक्ष की परिधि 21.5 मीटर की है।
नरसिंह मंदिर, जोशीमठ का अन्य लोकप्रिय मंदिर है, जो हिंदूओं के भगवान नरसिंह को समर्पित है। यह माना जाता है कि यह मंदिर, संत बद्री नाथ का घर हुआ करता था। इस मंदिर में स्थापित भगवान नरसिंह की प्रसिद्ध मूर्ति दिन प्रति दिन सिकुडती जा रही है। मान्यताओं के अनुसार, एक दिन यह मूर्ति पूर्णत: समाप्त हो जाएगी और उस दिन भयंकर भूस्खलन के कारण बद्रीनाथ को जाने वाला रास्ता बंद हो जाएगा।

मैनपाट अम्बिकापुर से 75 किलोमीटर दुरी पर है इसे छत्तीसगढ का शिमला कहा जाता है। मैंनपाट विन्ध पर्वत माला पर स्थित है जिसकी समुद्र सतह से ऊंचाई 3781 फीट है इसकी लम्बाई 28 किलोमीटर और चौडाई 10 से 13 किलोमीटर है अम्बिकापुर से मैंनपाट जाने के लिए दो रास्ते हैं पहला रास्ता अम्बिकापुर-सीतापुर रोड से होकर जाता और दुसरा ग्राम दरिमा होते हुए मैंनपाट तक जाता है। प्राकृतिक सम्पदा से भरपुर यह एक सुन्दर स्थान है। यहां सरभंजा जल प्रपात, टाईगर प्वांइट तथा मछली प्वांइट प्रमुख दर्शनीय स्थल हैं। मैनपाट से ही रिहन्द एवं मांड नदी का उदगम हुआ है। मैनपाट में मेहता प्वांइट भी एक दर्शनीय स्थल है |
इसे छत्तीसगढ का तिब्बत भी कहा जाता हैं। यहां तिब्बती लोगों का जीवन एवं बौध मंदिर आकर्षण का केन्द्र है। यहां पर एक सैनिक स्कूल भी प्रस्तावित है। यह कालीन और पामेरियन कुत्तो के लिये प्रसिद्ध है। ऊंची-ऊंची पहाडिय़ों व वनों से आच्छादित करीब 13 किलोमीटर के इस हरियल इलाके में नदियां व झरने लोगों को आकर्षित करते हैं। यहां चारों ओर पसरी हरी घास दिल को सुकुन देती है। ठंड के दिनों में सुबह-सुबह बर्फ की सफेद चादर पूरी धरती को ढंक लेती है, जबकि बारिश में चारों तरफ हरियाली ही हरियाली बिखरी रहती है। इस दौरान यहां के झरने पूरे शबाब पर होते हैं। झरनों का कल-कल नाद व पक्षियों की चहचहाहट लोगों को अपनी ओर खींच लेती है। यहां बारिश व ठंड में सबसे ज्यादा पर्यटक पहुंचते है लेकिन गर्मियों में भी यहां का ठंडा मौसम पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करता है। यहीं वजह है कि मैनपाट को ग्रीष्मकालीन राजधानी बनाने की भी चर्चा है। जो लोग शिमला नहीं जा सकते वे छत्तीसगढ़ के इस इलाके में शिमला का मज़ा तो ले ही सकते हैं। छोटा तिब्बत भी कहते हैं इसे मैनपाट की एक खूबी और है कि 1962 में यहां तिब्बतियों को शरणार्थी के रूप में बसाया गया था इसलिए इसे छोटा तिब्बत के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यहां तिब्बती धर्मगुरु दलाईलामा दो बार आ चुके हैं। यहां तिब्बती कैंप व बौद्ध मंदिर पहुंचकर मन को शांति मिलती है। मैनपाट बेहतरीन कालीन पॉमेलियन कुत्तों के लिए भी मशहूर है।

This video is part of my 40 days 9015 km Solo Amritsar to Kanyakumari Road Trip on my Lalpari (Ford Figo Car) from 23rd Dec 2022 to 31st Jan 2023.
Throughout the 39 nights slept inside the car, my HOME ON WHEELs at different locations covering 10 states and 2 union territories.
It was such a joy waking up on the new year morning at an unknown place.
Had no plans of going to Panchgani. Infect never knew about Panchgani, the plan was to reach Goa by the evening, it just happened that I landed at Panchgani on the new year eve and had a wonderful time among unknown merry crowd and then slept inside the car.
Met a couple during the customary morning walk who advised me to visit Table Land about whom I had never heard before. Drove to Table Land and had fabulous time walking around.
Stopped at ‘Pustak Gaav’, ripe strawberry plantation and Mapro Garden on the way to Mahableshwar. Mahableshwar was way over crowded due to Sunday and the first day of the year.
Loved late evening drive on NH-66, found a nice place on the old Mumbai-Goa highway, Shanti Dhaba, Hathkhamba, that had a hotel, a filling station and many trucks parked nearby.
Had wonderful evening, enjoyed Konkani mutton curry in dinner and slept inside my car, parked near the trucks outside Shanti Dhaba on NH-66…!!!

कुछ जरूरी बातें :
(१)अगर आप यहां आने का सोच रहे है तो अपने कपड़ों में स्वेटर या गर्म कपड़े जरूर रक्खे क्योंकि यहा पर बारिश और कोहरे की वजह से ठंड बहुत बड़ जाती है।।
(२)अपने साथ में एक जोड़ी चप्पल और एक जोड़ी शूज जरूर लें।।क्योंकि बहोत सी प्लेस पर आप चप्पल पहन कर जायेंगे तो पिसलने का डर रहेगा तो उसके लिए जुते काम आयेंगे और जहा बारिश जादा होंगी वहा आप चप्पल पहन सकते है इससे पैरों में किसी तरह की सड़न का डर नहीं रहेगा।।
(३) यहां पर खाना खाने के पहले पैसे जरूर पूछ ले।। यहां लोग मन माने ढंग से पैसे लूट ते है।।खास कर अगर आपके पास कोई गाड़ी हो तो।।कई जगह पर भाव तोल करने में शर्म न करें।।
(४)लायंस प्वाइंट पर खास कर खाना खाने से पहले पैसे पूछे और खाना खा कर जब आप उस कैंटिन से निकले तभी पैसे दे क्योंकि अगर आपने आयेसा नही किया तो हो सकता है होटल वाला आपसे ये कहे की आपने तो पैसे दिए ही नही ???और आप नई जगह पर न चाह कर भी इन लोगो की ठगी का शिकार हो सकते है।।।ये मैंने अपनी आखों से होते। हुवे देखा है।।
होटल वाले ने पैसे दूसरी बार लिए और ग्राहक को कोसा भी।।।
(५) यहां के कुछ होटल में पानी सीलिंग से टपकता है रूम लेने से पहले ये जरूर देख ले ।।।वो भी अच्छे दिखने वाले होटल का ये हाल था।।।में इसका वीडियो जल्दी ही अपलोड करूंगा।।
(६)और जरूरी नहीं। है की आप लोनावला में कही भी चिक्की खरीदो वो बढ़िया ही हो।।सस्ते दाम की चक्की घाटिया ही रहेगी भले उसपर लोनावला की मशहूर चिक्की लिखा हो।।(मगन लाल की चिक्की ठीक ठाक ऑप्शन हो सकती है आगे आपकी इच्छा।।
(७)आपके मोबाइल के लिए वाटर प्रूफ टाइप cover आपको डिस्प्ले उड़ने के खतरे से बचा सकता है????ये मेरे साथ हों गया था।।
और ये सारी बातें मैंने अपने अनुभव से लिखी है।।जो मैंने वहा देखा या महसूस किया है।।तो अगर इसमें से कुछ भी आपको काम की बात लगे तो लाइक और शेयर कर देना।।
(1) गूसबम्स point :- ये लोनावाला मैं प्रवेश करते ही सबसे पहले पड़ता है।।
ऊपर की तरफ जाने के लिए कुछ सीढी दी हुई है।।
पर ध्यान रहे अगर आपको ऊंचाई से डर लगता है तो ये काम ना ही करे खास कर बारिश के मौसम में।।क्योंकि बारिश जादा होने पर हवा से आप का संतुलन बिगड़ सकता है और ।।।ये अच्छा नही हो सकता।।
(2) खंडाला Lake :- yaha kaafi अच्छी झील है यहां पर बारीश का मौसम छोड़ कर आप किसी भी मौसम में ⛵ बोटिंग का मज़ा ले सकते है।।।
(3)Sunil's Celebrity Wax Museum
Timings : 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
Entry Fees : INR 200
Children below 5 is free
(फिलहाल यहां पर 92 पुतले है मोम के) जो की इतिहास में किसी न किसी वजह से मशहूर हुवे या है ।।

(4)लोनावाला में देखने वाली जगह कार्ला गुफाएं:-
कार्ला गुफा की दूरी लोनावला से लगभग 11 किलोमीटर है | यह गुफा खंडाला के प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थल में से एक है |यह गुफा ठीक उसी प्रकार पत्थरों को काट कर बना है जैसे अजंता एलोरा की गुफाएं हैं |कार्ला गुफा में स्तंभों पर बुद्ध की मूर्तियां बनी हुई है और ब्राह्मी लिपि में लेख लिखा गया है | इस गुफा को अच्छे से घूमने के लिए 2 से 3 घंटे का समय लगता है |
कार्ला गुफा पर्यटकों के लिए सुबह 9:00 से शाम 5:00 बजे तक खुला रहता है |
(5)लोनावला की लोनावला लेक :-
लोनावला लेक ,बुशी डैम जाते समय रास्ते में पड़ता है | एक सुंदर लेक है| यहां पर रुक कर इसका भी आप लोग आनंद जरूर लीजिए | लोनावला से लोनावला लेक की दूरी
लगभग 3 किलोमीटर है | लोनावला लेक से भूसी डैम की दूरी लगभग 4 किलोमीटर है |
(6)लोनावला का आकर्षण लायंस प्वाइंट और टाइगर पॉइंट:-
भूसी डैम से लायन प्वाइंट की दूरी लगभग 4.5 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है |लायन प्वाइंट भूसी डैम तथा आमबी घाटी ( Amby Valley) के बीच में पड़ता है | लोनावला से लायन प्वाइंट की दूरी लगभग 12 किलोमीटर है | लायन प्वाइंट होने के बाद आमबी घाटी घूमने जा सकते हैं |लायन पॉइंट और टाइगर पॉइंट से आप सुंदर पहाड़ों की वादियों को आप देखते हैं यहां से हरियाली झरनों फॉग का अद्भुत दर्शन मिलता है |
