Villingen-Schwenningen is a city located in Germany in the southwest of the Land of Baden-Württemberg. With around 81,000 inhabitants, the municipality is the largest in the Black Forest-Baar district.
The particularity of the city lies in the fact that it consists of two entities corresponding to two formerly independent towns, namely Villingen and Schwenningen. The two former municipalities merged in 1972 to become Villingen-Schwenningen. Another particularity is geographical: between the two old towns less than 5 kilometers apart, runs along a north-south axis the watershed between the North Sea (to the north) and the Black Sea (to the east).

Rottenburg am Neckar (until July 10, 1964 only Rottenburg) is a medium-sized town in the administrative district (Landkreis) of Tübingen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It rests about 50 km southwest of the provincial capital Stuttgart and about 12 km southwest of the district town Tübingen. Rottenburg is the second largest city of the district after Tübingen and makes up a secondary center for the surrounding community. Since May 1, 1972, Rottenburg am Neckar is a district town (Große Kreisstadt). Rottenburg agreed to an administrative collectivity with the municipalities of Hirrlingen, Neustetten and Starzach.

Der ehemalige Palas sowie Teile der Ringmauer sind noch gut erhalten. Die noch sichtbaren Reste des Palas, dürften zwischen 1250 und 1270 erbaut worden sein. Auf der Burg saßen im Hochmittelalter die Grafen von Sulz, ab circa 1250 dann die Geroldsecker, bis Stadt Sulz und Burg gegen 1472 an Württemberg übergingen.

Auch der Intercity der SBB durchfährt Sulz am Neckar.

Sulz (Neckar) is a town between Stuttgart and Rottweil on the young Neckar river. Here cross all full hour Regional Rail in direction Stuttgart and Lake Constance, where be in 2016 DB Class 425 and Class 146 with doublestock waggons. Also the SBB-IC pass the station.
