A Suez Canal cruise is often on people's 'bucket list.' It's an experience that differs from your typical ocean cruise as a Suez Canal transit offers a day of scenic cruising. In this video, I share everything you need to know about a southbound Suez Canal cruise, including the landmarks during the journey and the best places on the ship to view the Suez Canal.
If your Suez Canal cruise is travelling southbound (from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea), your cruise ship will most likely anchor near Port Said overnight to start the transit through the Canal the following morning.
Useful Tips for a Suez Canal Cruise:
1. Find out from the daily planner when the cruise will enter the Suez Canal
2. Get up early to experience the sunrise and the start of the transit
3. Find a good vantage point at the front or back of the ship
4. Spend some time on the open decks, especially when passing under the Mubarak Peace Bridge
5. Listen out for ship announcements
6. Consider booking a balcony cabin (starboard), where you can enjoy some shade

The Suez Canal is a man-made waterway connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea. The 120-mile long canal took 10 years to complete, opening in November 1869.
The Giza Pyramid complex includes the 3 main pyramids and several smaller queens' pyramids, as well as temples, cemeteries, and ruins of workers' villages. The pyramids of Egypt were built as burial sites for the pharaohs. Then embalmed body would be emtombed under or within, along with the various items he would need for his journey to the afterlife.
The Sphinx may have been built as a guardian to Khafre's pyramid, based on its proximity to the pyramid, and its likeness to other statues and carvings of Khafre.

5 Star Nile River Cruise from Aswan To Luxor in Egypt | Things to do + How much it costs?
If you are planning to visit Egypt then a 5 Star Nile River Cruise is one of the best things that you can do in this country and is an absolute must activity to include in your itinerary. We went for 3 days 3 nights Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor and this also includes pit stops in between where you can get down and visit the temples along the banks of the River Nile. In this video we are going to explore the things to do, what to expect, tourist attractions that you must visit and how much it costs to book a Nile River Cruise.
The cruise that we booked for our journey is called the Solaris. This is a 5 star cruise with 66 large cabins which are fully air-conditioned with led tv, fire alarm, smoke detector and a lot more. There is a bazar and jewellery shop located on the 3rd deck. The restaurant is located on the lower deck with 132 seats. They also have laundry and medical services available on board.
All the Nile River Cruises have almost the same itinerary, it just depends on the activities that you choose for yourself. The charges are mostly per room and not per person so if you are traveling solo then it might cost you a bit higher. In that case, make sure to book a single occupancy room for a cheaper price.
