Waterfalls are one of my favorite things to see in California, and the state has hundreds of them just waiting to be explored. While this is not necessarily the best waterfalls in the state, it is some of my favorite waterfalls. Let me know what your favorite is in the comments!

Located off Interstate 94 in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, this hotel is 30 minutes from Six Flags Great America and downtown Milwaukee. It features an indoor pool, on-site gym, and free Wi-Fi.
The rooms at the Sturtevant Days Inn include work desks and cable TV with the HBO channel. A microwave and refrigerator are provided.
Continental hot breakfast is now served every morning at this Sturtevant hotel. A business center is located in the lobby and free parking is available.
The South Hills Country Club is less than 10 minutes from Days Inn Sturtevant. Downtown Sturtevant is also 10 minutes from the hotel. Racine, located on the shore of Lake Michigan, is a 20-minute drive away.

Exploring the Best Waterfall in LA || Sturtevant Falls || DJI Drone 4K

Our team went to go explore what many call the best waterfall in LA: Sturtevant Falls. This waterfall can be found just northeast of LA in the Angeles Forest. It's a 20 to 25 minute drive from downtown LA with light traffic. To park, you will need to purchase a $5 adventure pass. Otherwise, you run the risk of getting a ticket. You should buy one prior to heading to the Angeles Forest. Here is a link with locations where they can be purchased:
This is a very popular hiking trail and you'll need to go early to stand any chance of finding parking (at least on the weekends). The road leading to Chantry Flat gets closed after the parking lot and roadside parking get full. We arrived at the waterfall before the crowds did and we flew around using a Mavic Air 2, Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual, and a mini. All in all, it was a very nice family-friendly hike with a nice view at the end. Not the best waterfall I've ever seen, but the nicest in the LA area for sure.

We did the whole Loop total of 9.5 miles.
This is a very popular hike and make sure you get there early, since parking can be scarce.
Adventure pass is required. In all the years I have gone I never got a ticket, but I have seen Park Rangers giving them out.
Distance: 9.5 miles round trip
Elevation Gain: 2100 ft
Hike Time: 5 hours
Difficulty: Easy
Trail Condition: Well maintained trail
Hike Type: Loop
Animals : Dog Friendly

The VACCO Wanderers took a short but steep day hike to Sturtevant Falls. It was a rather hot day and when we got to the falls not much of it was left running!

US | Angels Landing - Zion National Park Utah
Be sure to hold onto the chains – #AngelsLanding, #ZionNationalPark
Most of my travel to the United States has always been work or friends/family visit related. I had never really had the US as a tourist destination. With my growing interest in hiking I was researching multiday hikes and found there were several in the US and that there is an abundance of National Parks.
This time around I went to see where Angels Land in Zion National Park. To facility easy visit of the national park we stayed in Springdale (Zion Canyon Lodge). Angels Landing is one of the four strenuous hikes in the park that offers spectacular views of Zion Canyon.
A lot of emotions went through me as I did this hike, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
