Studley Circular, Warwickshire | Exploring England
The Studley Circular in Studley Warwickshire, is a lovely scenic walk, just a little over 8 miles with no stiles but a few gentle inclines. The walk takes you through the beautiful, expansive and open countryside, along riverside and through woodland with a short section along quiet country lanes. This route is suitable for dog walking but will need to be on a lead through fields where cattle are located. The walk incorporates sections of the Millennium Way, where you will be guided by the distinctive black Millennium Way markers. Other points of interest and highlights are the Studley Parish Church, a walk along the River Arrow, a distant view of Studley Castle, a variety of wildlife viewable through woodland and countryside views that seem to never end.

Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden, North Yorkshire
Fountains is one of the largest and best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries in England. It is located approximately 3 miles South-West of Ripon in North Yorkshire, near to the village of Aldfield. Founded in 1132 the abbey operated for 407 years, becoming one of the wealthiest monasteries in England until its dissolution, by order of Henry VIII, in 1539.

Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden - National Trust - UK ????????
A Spring visit to Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire is a delight even on a gloomy day. This great Cistercian Monastery was over 400 years old when dissolved in 1539 on the orders of Henry VIII. Having been sold off some of the Abbey was used to build the adjacent Fountains Hall and it along with the Ruins was later added to the Studley Royal estate with its wonderful water gardens. The site as a whole is now recognised as a World Heritage Site and is under the care of the National Trust. Join us for a delightful Spring stroll.
