Today I'm taking England's most luxurious train, the Belmond British Pullman across the British countryside. I'm taking Millie along today, and we have the best seat available, a first class compartment. Join us as we experience a 5 course menu, tour our luxury cabin as well as the rest of the opulent once in a lifetime train journey.
As with all my videos i'll show you exactly what you can expect taking this train, how much it cost as well as the various other seats available. Departing London Victoria station, we'll be taking the Golden Age of Travel itinerary all the way over to the British Seaside. One arriving, we'll have drinks on the platform before returning to London later afternoon.
After taking the Belmond Venice Simplon Orient Express i've been trying to get onboard this iconic train, partly because in usual times this is the first leg of the journey - but due to external factors it's not been operating for the months of April, May and June.

There are two routes offered one through the Blue Ridge Tunnel and another through the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests. The trains leave from the picturesque and historic town of Staunton, VA.

Melbourne's Underground City Loop - Explained!
The underground City Loop is at the centre of Melbourne's busy suburban railway system, currently operated by Metro Trains Melbourne. It's quite an unusual design, being made up of four completely independent single track tunnels, some of which change direction half way through the day. This video explains the physical layout of the Loop, the reason for the direction change, and some of the other confusing aspects of this part of the network. The Melbourne suburban network is 1600mm/5'3 Broad Gauge, and electrified at 1500v DC.

The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is a private research university in Pasadena, California.
The university is known for its strength in science and engineering, and is one among a small group of institutes of technology in the United States which is primarily devoted to the instruction of pure and applied sciences.
Caltech was founded as a preparatory and vocational school by Amos G. Throop in 1891 and began attracting influential scientists in the early 20th century. The vocational and preparatory schools were disbanded and spun off in 1910 and the college assumed its present name in 1920.
As of October 2020, there are 76 Nobel laureates; in addition, 4 Fields Medalists and 6 Turing Award winners have been affiliated with Caltech.
According to a 2015 Pomona College study, Caltech ranked number one in the U.S. for the percentage of its graduates who go on to earn a PhD.
