Most beautiful metro in Saint Petersburg, Russia: ALL STATIONS (purple line)

In IGOR in Russia: Metro edition series I'll visit every metro station on every line in Saint Petersburg. Purple metro line is the latest and most modern metro line in St. Petersburg!

Metro is the most convenient way to travel in Saint Petersburg. It costs around 45 rubles (0,6 euros, 0.8 dollars) per trip, the trip ends by exiting the station you need to get off at.

To travel you can buy a token, buy Podorozhnik travel card (load money on it) or pay with your phone at the gate's readers. When entering, if you're carrying a bigger bag, it will be screened for safety reasons. You can hop on and hop off on as many stations you like without exiting the station (some last stations require you to exit the station, you will have to buy a new ticket to get back on in this case).

Hermitage - Old Village. Mechanical droshky by master Kuznetsov.

----------------------------
On Wednesday, the Hermitage will conduct an online tour of the Staraya Derevnya Restoration and storage centre and will tell about the unique droshky, the press service of the museum reports.

Experts will tell you about the droshky made by Yegor Kuznetsov, a talented mechanic of the Nizhny Tagil plant. A special measuring device was designed in the crew - a viscometer (odometer prototype) with several dials, which notifies with a bell about each verst passed.

Also, a mechanical organ with several pieces of music is mounted in the droshky. And the mechanism of the viscometer with six dials, and the organ, and the details of painting on the metal surface of the droshky we can see in all details, the museum says.

Spectators will be able to visit the Museum of Bridges. A museum has recently opened in the northern capital, which stores their models. The world's only and unique collection of bridge models has been formed by the Central Museum of Railway Transport for over 200 years.

We invite you to take a closer look at these grandiose structures. It's time to learn how bridges are arranged, what role they play in the life of St. Petersburg, what they can say about the history of Russia and how world engineering achievements have influenced them. On the tour you will see the most beautiful St. Petersburg bridges, learn stories of their creation, legends associated with them, and take a fascinating journey through time through the ages, - said in the message.

Architect Nikita Yavein will talk about the reconstruction project for the East Wing of the General Staff Building.
