Top 10 PRETTIEST Towns in BERKSHIRE
What are the 10 prettiest towns in the county of Berkshire? To determine this, I visited them all. Here's what I found out.
As a disclaimer, this list is neither a social commentary, nor a guide on which are the nicest towns to live, but purely a judgement on the aesthetics of each respective town centre.

The Second Kentish Road Trip
Another mini road trip that's also suitable for cyclists, through Kentish Towns & villages, each offering something different.
The route is circular, and we start at Hollingbourne, just off junction 8 of the M20 motorway, but you could choose Faversham off junction 6 of the M2. If you're cycling, there's plenty of options too.
From Hollingbourn we travel a short distance to the Market village of Lenham, with free parking in the old market square. Next, we head on a little further up the A20 to Charing, with its quaint high street, the ruins of an Archbishop's palace and a memorial to Frederick George Coppins VC.
We then head north to the movie set that is Chilham, a beautiful hillside village that takes you back in time, before we head on to the historic Faversham, that will make a great base if you want to do this at a slower pace. From the bustle of Faversham, we take you to the peace of Oare, and Oare marshes where you can pick up the Saxon Shore Way. Our final stop takes us on to Newnham, a quaint little village, with its country pub, before we return to Hollinbourne. A journey of around 40miles/65kms that will be a full day, but enjoyable

Walking Tenterden, England 4K HD | Steam Railway | September 2022
A sunny afternoon walk in Tenterden, Kent, UK. A short relaxing stroll starting at the steam train (watch a diesel locomotive set off on it's own journey) and then taking in the street cafes, pubs, shops and the beautiful English church.

Join us on a Kent Road Trip (Cyclists welcome too)
Welcome to our tour around the Kent Countryside on a mini road trip, that could easily be a bike ride.
Using Headcorn as our starting point, we take a quick look around the churchyard, the high street before jumping into the car for the next destination.
Pluckley, Kent's most haunted village, and one of the locations for the '90 TV series 'The Darling Buds of May'. When the ghosts are not wreaking havoc, it's thoroughly beautiful. You might even say 'Perfick'
Then a short hop to the quaint little village of Smarden. It seems soaked in history, and somewhere you may want to stop for refreshments.
Next on the lists is High Halden, with its 13th-century church that's worth checking out.
Then we reach Tenterden, another destination you could choose to base yourself at, especially if you plan to visit the Chapel Down Winery, or if you want to take the steam train to Bodiam. The charming little town boasts many fine restaurants, cafes, bars & tea shops. It's also home to a few antique shops should you want to pick up a memento of your trip.
Next on our list is Rolvenden, with its motor museum, windmill and Oast Houses.
Another stopover is at Benenden, with its huge village green, and the St George's Church at the far end.
The next stop is another potential base in Kent's High Weald. With St Dunstan's Church clock a prototype for Big Ben in London, the whole town has more than a touch of history about it.
We take a quick look at Sissinghurst (note, not the castle - That will come later) before heading onto Biddenden.
The village of Biddenden is small but very beautiful, and a great stopover on your trip. Home to the 12th century Biddenden Maids - co-joined twins born in the village. It has a Michelin starred restaurant, coffee shops, tea rooms and a traditional pub.
