Kaiwara Betta (Hill) situated about 65 km from Bengaluru. Kaiwara is well known for the fort that is situated here. Trekking in Kaiwara can be a bit rough and cumbersome. It’s quite a steep and tough terrain but worth the sight! This trek was truly an unforgettable one and I wanted to share this experience with all of you.
As this place is under Karnataka Forest department, You need to book your trekking pass from below link :

Kailasagiri is a famous cave temple located on the hill near Kiwara, Chintamani. There are three shrines in Kailasagiri dedicated to Lord Shiva (four faced), Goddess Parvathi and Lord Ganesha. Its a good half day destination at just 80kms from Bangalore. View from here is awesome and cold breeze on top will revitalize your soul. Post parking a 500 mts of stone paved road walk will take you to the entrance of Kailasagiri Hills. There is a big natural hall which is in fact cold inside and not a hot boiler unlike other caves. Here free lunch meal (prashadam) is provided maybe till 15:30. The place is well maintained so please don't pollute it. There was no entry fee and car parking was INR 20.

Places to ride near Bangalore. Where to go on weekend?
Chintamani is a town in Chikkaballapura district in Karnataka state. Chintamani is located at a distance of about 80 Km away from Bangalore.
A few minutes drive from Chintamani will take you to a cave temple located on the hill named Kailasa Giri which was developed by the ex-Home Minister, Chowda Reddy. Kaivara is another tourist attraction of Chintamani, which is located about 11 kilometres away.

Chintamani Town is the nearest Taluk Centre and a business hub of this part of Karnataka.Kaiwara is famous for Saint Narayanappa (1730-1840 AD), popularly known as Kaiwara Narayana Thata ನಾರಾಯಣ ತಾತ in Kannada and Narayana Thatayya in Telugu, who was a bilingual poet. Narayanappa prophesized and composed Keertanas (poems in praise of the Lord in different forms) in praise of Amara Narayanaswamy, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, in both Kannada and Telugu languages.
The Keertanas are comparable to famous Keertanakaras of Karnataka such as Purandaradasa and Kanakadasa. Thatayya also appears to have been influenced by Vemana Kavi and Veera Bramhendra Swamy of present-day Andhra Pradesh, and Sarvajna of present-day Karnataka. One of his writings is the Bramanandpuri Shatakka, in which he explains all the nuances of yoga in depth and detail.
In one of his poems, half of each line is in Kannada, and the other half in the Telugu language. This poem has been sung by Sri Balamurali Krishna, one of the most famous and versatile Indian musicians of present times.
Kaiwara has an ashram dedicated to the Thatayya that has become a pilgrimage and a tourist destination because of the cave in which Thatayya meditated and attained the supreme spiritual enlightenment. The ashram, the cave, Amara Narayanaswamy temple, Vaikunta (temple) by the side of the cave, and the hillock (on which Bheema is supposed to have killed the Bakasura) are all places worth visiting.

Hello Youtube Family,
We visited GK HILL VIEW RESORT on Aug 14,15. It is located near Chintamani, Kaiwara. Its about 2hours from Bangalore. The resort is self sustained and costed us Rs 6000 for 2 people including lunch, dinner and breakfast and a night's stay. We did Bangalore Darshan to reach the resort heheheh hence you get to see Manjestic, Golf Course, racecourse road, hebbal and so many places in this video too :P The resort is extremely beautiful and staff is very polite and courteous. The people at the reception are very humble too. They are very clean and hygienic resort and have activities and lot of games too. The most adventurous one was rope cycling! Felt like we were cycling on air :D
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay!! Highly recommend it!

Hey friends, let us explore the cave temple and nearby hill are of Kailasagiri Hill ಕೈಲಾಸಗಿರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟ / Kailasagir Betta, chintamani, chikkabellapur, Karnataka in this vlog.
Location:
Kailasagiri hill is famous for its cave temple of Lord Shiva and Ambaji Durga. We had no clue that we had to trek and few steps to climb for about 30 minutes to reach the top of the hill. Trekking would have been easier if we would have carried the trekking essentials that weekend. We were little exhausted but we were fortunate enough that we had water bottles in our bags. And Yes, it's an opportunity for trekking enthusiasts to wishlist this one.
The beauty and the essence of this hill is that the caves are being made by humans and idols of various gods inside this hill. We went inside the hill from one side, did worship and came out from the other side of the hill. The temperature outside the cave was too hot and it was exactly opposite inside the caves. One could really feel the peace, positive energy and calmness inside the hill.
