Your Bucharest things to do list should include a trip to Carol I Park. The park provides a great escape into an expansive green space of Bucharest and is home to some interesting monuments - it's also flanked by some of the city's important cultural buildings and meeting points.

Snagov could be a nice option as a Bucharest day trip away from the city with Vlad the Impaler meant to have a connection to the town.

Finally, the Stavropoleos Monastery is a must-visit of the city and is one of the more celebrated tourist attractions within Bucharest alongside some excellent museums - which are generally housed in some of the more breathtaking buildings in the city.
