Known for his work on mountain climibing manga “Kokou no Hito” (also known as The Climber or Ascension) or “Innocent”, set in the French Revolution, Shinichi Sakamoto is a mangaka with a unique approach, we spent time with him to discover the themes & motivations behind his work.
Sakamoto adopted a fully digital work environment and a process rarely seen in manga creation, he will tell us more about the symbolism in his works, strongly based on metaphors instead of the usual onomatopoeia.

Two more great locations to entertain little ones in Karuizawa - The Erz Toy Museum and Picturebook Museum are right next to each other and a great way to spend a day.
They're also next to the Karuizawa Taliesin for a great covered location in case of hot or rainy days.

GrandFather Kosako, Grandmother Moto, Eldest Uncle Shinichi Ito site in Ome' Japan. A very cool thing happened as we went back into the Uncle Nori's car -
he was about to start the car and Aunt Akeyo saw a praying mantis (walking stick) on his back neck - she saw it right through the headrest - later Yumi tells us that was her Father - Shin-ichi's nickname growing up - very subarashi!
Check out Keisuke walking in the background during the video - such a funny guy with his new Disneyland water sprayer from Tokyo Disneyland he got the day before.

こんばんは！すねどらです。
12泊13日(フェリー込みだと14泊15日)でわんこ３頭(柴犬､トイプードル､ミニチュアシュナウザー)連れてのんびりフリードプラスで北海道一周旅行してきました。
襟裳岬から帯広を経由して十勝に向かいました。
今日は移動距離が短い(160kmくらい)ので時間に余裕があります。
幸福駅は平日朝にも関わらず観光客もぼちぼちいて、いかにも人気観光地的な雰囲気でした。
｢愛の国から幸福へ｣のキャッチフレーズで知られるこの駅は、幸福駅の２つ先に｢愛国駅｣があって、この２駅間のキップが｢愛国駅-幸福駅｣となる事からとても縁起が良いとされています。
ここはオススメですね！
帯広神社(帯廣神社)では仕事運向上のお守りを購入し、帯広名物のぶた丼は超有名店のとん田へ。とっても旨かったです。これはおすすめですね！
本日宿泊の十勝まきばの家は、9年前にも泊まったことがあったので安心してお伺い出来ました。相変わらず広々としてて犬もリラックスしてるようでした。
今回目新しいのが「ガゼボ」。コロナ対策だとは思いますが各コテージに
食事棟を追加したような感じです。子供のいるご家族であれば盛り上がりそうですね♪
まきばの家は日本トップクラスのシープドッグショーがあるんですが、コロナの影響で中止しているとの事。代わりに退屈している羊さんを鑑賞したり、すっごく広いドッグランで遊んだり、犬連れにはいいお宿だと思います。
明日は根室に向かいます。

Travel to Japan 17: Immerse yourself within the warm hearted people of Sado Island
What can two girls do on an island in the middle of the winter?
Sado Island is really popular during the summer, and many people visit to enjoy everything this place has to offer. However, during the winter, people seem to think that there's not much to do because of the cold weather.
I've come to show that that is indeed WRONG! While it may be too cold to splash in the sea, there is still much to do. And because of lack of tourists, we were able to bond with the warm hearted and kind people of Sado. As a result, this has been one of the most memorable trips of my life, and I will never forget the endless hospitality and generosity they showered us with.
I coincidentally met an English speaking national licensed tour guide during my stay (she comes up at 5:21). She took us around the island for the last day and informed us on everything to know about Sado. 伊東にある道の駅「マリンタウン」でモイスチャーミストが観光客を涼しくしました。
映像は大道芸をしている場所での冷却です。

ショッピング、グルメ、温泉、マリーナが一度に楽しめる道の駅という事で土日祝日、夏期休暇時等は観光客で大変混雑する人気のスポットなのである。

Auch dieses Jahr finden in Japan wieder zahlreiche Detektiv Conan Café statt, um den Release des neuen Filmes zu feiern - leider wurde der Starttermin fürs Kino inzwischen verschoben. Nichts desto trotz sind die Cafés geöffnet und wir haben einmal im Café in Ikebukuro vorbei geschaut.

Also this year there are numerous Detective Conan Cafés opened in Japan to celebrate the release of the new film - unfortunately the start date for the cinema release has been postponed. Nevertheless, the cafes are open and we stopped by in the café in Ikebukuro.

ภาพถ่ายเป็นตัวแทนของยุคสมัย และภาพถ่ายยิ่งเก่าแค่ไหนก็ยิ่งทรงคุณค่า เราจะพาคุณย้อนเวลากลับไปชมภาพถ่ายชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของผู้คนในแถบย่านชนชทของประเทศญี่ปุ่นในช่วงปี 1870 กัน
ก่อนจะชมภาพ ต้องขอเล่าเรื่องให้ฟังกันก่อนว่า ในช่วงปี 1850 และ 1860 ญี่ปุ่นยังไม่เปิดรับการค้ากับต่างประเทศ รวมถึงไม่มีการเปิดรับผู้มาเยือนจากต่างแดน ต่อมาในช่วงปี 1870 นักท่องเที่ยว และเทคโนโลยีจากโลกตะวันตกเริ่มแผ่ขยายเข้ามาในดินแดนญี่ปุ่น ผ่านทางเมืองท่าเรือต่างๆ ซึ่งหนึ่งในเมืองท่าชื่อดังก็คือ Yokohama ซึ่งเป็นเมืองที่ตากล้องจากโลกตะวันตกนาม Felice Beato ได้เปิดสตูดิโอถ่ายภาพขึ้นเป็นแห่งแรก และได้เปิดโลกให้ชาวญี่ปุ่นได้รู้จักกับเสน่ห์ และเทคโนโลยีการถ่ายภาพ
และคุณ Suzuki Shin’ichi เป็นชาวญี่ปุ่นคนแรกๆ ที่ได้ก้าวเข้าสู่โลกแห่งการถ่ายภาพ โดยเขาได้เข้าฝึกงานในสตูดิโอถ่ายภาพแห่งนี้ ร่วมกับตากล้องชาวญี่ปุ่นอีกคนที่มีนามว่า Shimooka Renjō และในปี 1872 เขาได้รับการว่าจ้างจากสำนักพิมพ์หนังสือสัญชาติ สกอตแลนด์ อย่าง J.R.
