শুরুতে হযরত খান জাহান আলী এর মাজারে যাবেন ।
সেখান থেকে ২০ টাকা ভ্যান ভাড়া দিয়ে চলে যাবেন ষাট গম্মুজ মসজিদে ।
তার পরে সেখান থেকে ৪০ টাকা বাস ভাড়া দিয়ে চলে যাবেন কাটাখালি ।
সেখান থেকে ২০ টাকা বাস ভাড়া দিয়ে চন্দ্রমহল ইকোপার্ক রাস্তায় নেমে ৪০ টাকা ভ্যান রিজার্ভ করে চলে যাবেন চন্দ্রমহল ইকোপার্কে ।
চন্দ্রমহল ইকোপার্ক দেখা শেষ করে আবার কাটাখালি হয়ে ফকিরহাট যাবেন ।
ফকিরহাট যেতে খরচ পরবে ৮০ টাকা এবং সেখান থেকে অযোদ্ধা বা কোদলা মঠ যেতে ভ্যান ভাড়া পরবে ৭০ টাকা ।

প্রথমেই রওনা দিন মাধবপুর লেক (Madhabpur Lake)। যেতে সময় লাগবে প্রায় ১ ঘন্টা। চারপাশে চা বাগান দেখতে দেখতেই মাধবপুর লেকের কাছে চলে যাবেন। কিছুটা হেঁটে চা বাগানে ঢাকা সবুজ পাহাড় ঘেরা অপূর্ব মাধবপুর লেকের দেখা পাবেন।
মাধবপুর লেকে ঘন্টাখানেক সময় কাটিয়ে চলে যান লাউয়্যাছড়া জাতীয় উদ্যান (Lawachara National Park) ঘুরে দেখতে। লাউয়াছড়া উদ্যান একটি সংরক্ষিত বনাঞ্চল। ২৫০ হেক্টর আয়তনের এই উদ্যানে প্রায় ৪৬০ প্রজাতির দুর্লভ উদ্ভিদ ও প্রাণী রয়েছে। ছাত্র ও বাচ্চাদের জন্যে প্রবেশ টিকেট মূল্য ২০ টাকা, প্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক দর্শনার্থীদের প্রবেশ মূল্য ৫০ টাকা।
আধা ঘন্টা, এক ঘন্টা ও তিন ঘন্টার ৩টি ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ট্রেইল রয়েছে। পছন্দমত কোন ট্রেইলে ঘুরে দুপুরের মধ্যে ফিরে আসুন শ্রীমঙ্গল শহরে। লাউয়াছড়া থেকে আসার পথেই পড়বে বধ্যভূমি-৭১, চা বাগান, টি রিসোর্ট (Tea Resort and Museum), লেবু রাবার ও আনারস বাগান।
দুপুরে খেয়ে চলে যান শহরের কাছেই সীতেশ বাবুর চিড়িয়াখানা (Shitesh Babu's Zoo) দেখতে। হাতে সময় থাকলে বা অন্য কোন স্থানে যাওয়ার ইচ্ছে না থাকলে পড়ন্ত বিকেল হাইল হাওরে কাটাতে পারেন। বর্ষায় পানি ভর্তি হাওর বা শীতে অতিথি পাখির দেখা মিলবে এইখানে।
চিড়িয়াখানা বা হাওরে যাবার পরিকল্পনা না থাকলে বাংলাদেশ চা গবেষনা ইনস্টিটিউট (Bangladesh Tea Research Institute - BTRI) ঘুরে দেখুন। বিকেলে হাতে সময় থাকলে লালটিলা পাহাড়েও যেতে পারেন।
সাত রঙের চা খেতে চাইলে চলে যান আদী নীলকন্ঠ টি কেবিনে (Adi Nilkantha Tea Cabin)। তার কাছেই মনিপুরী পল্লী থেকে মনীপুরী শাড়ী, শাল সহ অনেক কিছুই কিনতে পারবেন। চা পাতা কিনতে শহরের স্টেশন রোড থেকে কেনাটাই ভালো হবে।
এইসবকিছু করতে হবে আপনার হাতের সময় অনুযায়ী। আপনি চাইলে যেকোন দর্শনীয় স্থান যুক্ত কিংবা বাদ দিয়ে ভ্রমণ পরিকল্পনা সাজিয়ে নিবেন।

Rajmahal region was earlier ruled by Raja Mal sub-group of Mal Paharia tribes. Earlier this place was known as Agmahal and is surrounded by Rajmahal hills on one side and river Ganges on another side. The region was also known as 'Daman-i-Koh' during Mughal rule.
In 1576, Battle of Rajmahal was fought between Mughal Emperor, Akbar and Sultan of Bengal, Daud Khan Karrani of Karrani Dynasty. After war, Daud Khan was captured and later executed by the Mughals.
Later, after the conquest of Odisha in 1592, Raja Man Singh I, Mughal governor of Bengal Subah came to Rajmahal. He chose the site for his capital in 1595–96 because of its strategic command of the Teliagarhi Pass and the Ganges River. Raja Man Singh I, also renamed the town in 1595 as 'Akbarnagar' in tribute to Emperor Akbar and he also constructed palace, garden and mosque on behalf of Mughal rulers. In 1610, the capital of Bengal was transferred to Dacca (now Dhaka, Bangladesh) by Islam Khan.
In 1639, Rajmahal regained its glory and was once more made the capital of Bengal by Shah Shuja, governor of Bengal Subah and second son of Emperor Shah Jahan. It continued as the seat of the Mughal Viceroy up to 1660 and a mint town till 1661.

The nearest rail head is Rajmahal/ Tinpahar Jn. One have to catch a train to reach Tinpahar Jn from any part of India and from there one can reach Rajmahal via train or reserved car (reserve charge for small car is ₹2500-₹3000 and for Auto is ₹1000-₹1200).

Gokul Medh is an archaeological site in Bangladesh. It is an excavated mound in the village of Gokul under Shibganj Upazila of Bogra. 2. Cox's Bazar Sea Beach: Cox's Bazar is a town, a fishing port and district headquarters in Bangladesh. The beach in Cox's Bazar is an unbroken 120 km (75 mi) sandy sea beach with a gentle slope, one of the world's longest.It is located 150 km (93 mi) south of the industrial port Chittagong.
The modern Cox's Bazar derives its name from Captain Hiram Cox (died 1799). Arakan refugees and local Rakhains. Captain Cox embarked upon the task of rehabilitating refugees in the area and made significant progress. Captain Cox died in 1799 before he could finish his work.

The village Mahasthan in Shibganj than were called Pundranagara or Paundravardhanapura in the territory of Pundravardhana.A limestone slab bearing six lines in Prakrit in Brahmi script, discovered in 1931, dates Mahasthangarh to at least the 3rd century BC. The fortified area was in use until the 18th century AD.

এ ছাড়া আম, রেশম, কাঁসা, পিতল, লাক্ষা, নকশিকাঁথা ঐতিহ্যে সমৃদ্ধ চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ জেলা। ঐতিহ্যবাহী গম্ভীরা গান, আলকাপ, টপ্পা গান ও লোককাহিনীর এ জেলার স্বকীয় সাংস্কৃতিক পরিচয়।
It is not that the claim of being the mango capital goes undisputed, especially in recent times, with places like Naogaon seriously contending and challenging its position. But arguably, Chapai Nawabganj has still managed to hold its fort, and for good reasons.
To start with, let's be clear that it's not Rajshahi we are talking about. Chapai Nawabganj indeed falls under the Rajshahi division, but the people of the mango capital have made a clear distinction between the two — the mango pride of Chapai Nawabganj is solely theirs alone, as it becomes apparent when you experience its sights and sounds. Even though mango hubs are common in Rajshahi city, and you may come across some orchards in and around, and despite that, there is the Aam Chattar which is a large mango sculpture, it doesn't beat Chapai Nawabganj.
After all, Chapai Nawabganj hosts the most iconic mango market in Bangladesh, the Kansat mango bazaar. And so, last week, we (a team of journalists, but even more so, a group of mango maniacs if put bluntly) flocked to Chapai Nawabganj, to see for ourselves what makes it the mecca for mangoes.Quite soon after our car left Rajshahi and got into the highway, I realised that the bazaar is like the nucleus if Chapai Nawabganj was to be an atom, around which numerous hubs, businesses, orchards operate.
Miles after miles of mango gardens lie on both sides of the highway under the scorching Chapai Nawabganj sun. The villages are lush with these orchards.Throughout Bangladesh, Chapai Nawabganj is known as the “City of Mango”. Every year Chapai Nawabganj produces a huge amount of Mangoes that are similar to no other district in Bangladesh.

Mahasthangarh (Bengali: মহাস্থানগড় Môhasthangôṛ) is one of the most earliest urban archaeological sites so far discovered in Bangladesh. The village Mahasthan in Shibganj upazila of Bogra District contains the remains of an ancient city which was called Pundranagara or Paundravardhanapura in the territory of Pundravardhana. A limestone slab bearing six lines in Prakrit in Brahmi script recording a land grant, discovered in 1931, dates Mahasthangarh to at least the 3rd century BCE. It was an important city under the Maurya Empire. The fortified area was in use until the 8th century CE.
Etymology
Mahasthan means a place that has excellent sanctity and garh means fort. Mahasthan was first mentioned in a Sanskrit text of the 13th century entitled Vallalcharita. It is also mentioned in an anonymous text Karatoya mahatmya, circumstantially placed in 12th–13th century. The same text also mentions two more names to mean the same place – Pundrakshetra, land of the Pundras, and Pundranagara, city of the Pundras. In 1685, an administrative decree mentioned the place as Mastangarh, a mixture of Sanskrit and Persian meaning fortified place of an auspicious personage. Subsequent discoveries have confirmed that the earlier name was Pundranagara or Paundravardhanapura, and that the present name of Mahasthangarh is of later origin.
Geography
Mahasthangarh (Pundranagar), the ancient capital of Pundravardhana is located north of Bogra on the Bogra-Rangpur highway, with a feeder road (running along the eastern side of the ramparts of the citadel for 1.5 km) leading to Jahajghata and site museum. Buses are available for Bogra from Dhaka and take 4½ hours for the journey via Bangabandhu Jamuna Bridge across the Jamuna River. Buses are available from Bogra to Mahasthangarh. Rickshaws are available for local movement. Hired transport is available at Dhaka/ Bogra. Accommodation is available at Bogra. When travelling in a hired car, one can return to Dhaka the same day, unless somebody has a plan to visit Somapura Mahavihara at Paharpur in the district of Naogaon and other places, or engage in a detailed study.
It is believed that the location for the city in the area was decided upon because it is one of the highest areas in Bangladesh. The land in the region is almost above sea level, whereas Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is around above sea level. Another reason for choosing this place was the position and size of the Karatoya, which as recently as in the 13th century was three times wider than Ganges.
Mahasthangarh stands on the red soil of the Barind Tract which is slightly elevated within the largely alluvium area. The elevation of 15 to 25 metres above the surrounding areas makes it a relatively flood free physiographic unit.
Discovery
Several personalities contributed to the discovery and identification of the ruins at Mahasthangarh. Francis Buchanan Hamilton was the first to locate and visit Mahasthangarh in 1808, C.J.O'Donnell, E.V.Westmacott, and Beveridge followed. Alexander Cunningham was the first to identify the place as the capital of Pundravardhana. He visited the site in 1879.
On 19 April 2004, The Daily Star reported that locals were looting bricks and valuables from the site. They were also building residences on the site ignoring government regulations.

Besides the fortified area, there are around a hundred mounds spread over an area with a radius of 9 km. (See map alongside).
