????बिहार के सासाराम में कैमूर की पहाड़ियों पर मौजूद ये किला इस तरह बनाया गया है कि बाहर से किसी को नहीं दिखता। ये चारों तरफ से ऊंची दीवारों से घिरा है।
????इस किले के एक तरफ दुर्गावती नदी है, बाकी तरफ से ये जंगलों से घिरा हुआ है। यहां सुरंगों का जाल बिछा है।
????इसके अंदर जाने के लिए भी एक सुरंग से होकर जाना पड़ता है। अगर सुरंगे बंद कर दी जाएं तो ये किला दिखाई भी नहीं देता।
????यहां के तहखाने इतने बड़े हैं कि उनमें 10 हजार तक सैनिक आ सकते हैं। शेरशाह ने ऐसा किला अपने दुश्मनों से बचने और सुरक्षित रहने के लिए बनवाया था।
????शेरशाह अपने परिवार और सैनिकों के साथ यहीं रहते थे। यहां उनके लिए सभी सुविधाएं किले के अंदर ही मौजूद थी।
????यहां के कमरे भी सुरक्षा के हिसाब से बनाए गए हैं। किले से हर दिशा में 10 किमी दूर से आते हुए दुश्मन को भी देखा जा सकता था।
????यहां मौजूद तहखानों में काफी दिनों के लिए खाना और पानी स्टोर किया जा सकता था।

रोहतास के इतिहासकार डा. श्याम सुन्दर तिवारी हैं कि बताते हैं कि वर्तमान शेरगढ़ का नाम पहले भुरकुड़ा का किला था। इसका उल्लेख मध्यकालीन इतिहास की पुस्तकों तारीख-ए-शेरशाही और तबकात-ए-अकबरी में मिलता है। खरवार राजाओं ने अपने किले को रोहतासगढ़ की ही तरह अति प्राचीन काल में बनवाया था। लेकिन इस किले पर 1529-30 ई. में शेर खां (शेरशाह) ने कब्जा कर लिया। फ्रांसिस बुकानन के अनुसार यहां भारी नरसंहार हुआ था। इसी कारण यह किला अभिशप्त और परित्यक्त हो गया। लेकिन एक सवाल अब भी यहां उठ रहा है कि क्या स्वतंत्र भारत में भी इसका अभिशाप खत्म नहीं होगा? क्या किसी हुक्काम की नजरें अब भी इनायत नहीं होंगी?
फ्रांसिस बुकानन 13 जनवरी 1913 को यहां आए थे। उन्होंने चर्चा की है कि इस किले के सिंह द्वार के ऊपर आठ बुर्ज थे, उनमें से आज मात्र पांच बुर्ज ही बचे हैं। सिंहद्वार से दक्षिण की ओर रास्ता मुख्य भवन की ओर जाता है। उबड़-खाबड़ रास्ता अब जंगल व कंटीली झाड़ियों से भरा पड़ा है। सिंहद्वार से लगभग एक किमी दूर दक्षिण में दूसरी पहाड़ी है, जिसके रास्ते में ही एक तालाब बना हुआ है। यह रानी पोखरा के नाम से जाना जाता है। दूसरी पहाड़ी भी प्राचीर से घिरी है। इसके अंदर मुख्य महल है। प्राचीर के दरवाजे तक जाने के लिए सीढ़ियां बनी हैं। दरवाजा अब गिरने की स्थिति में है। प्राचीर के भीतर दरवाजी के दोनों ओर दो खुले दालान हैं। कुछ दूर जाने पर भूमिगत गोलाकार कुआं है। भूमिगत कुएं से पूरब में चार मेहराब बनाते खंभों पर टिका चौकोर तहखाना है। इस तहखाने से पश्चिम-उत्तर में एक विशाल महल के ध्वंसावशेष बिखरे पड़े हैं।

इस वीडियों में मैने शेरगढ़ किले के पहले भाग को दिखाया है । ये किला एक पहाड़ी पर बना हुआ है और ऐसा कहा जाता है कि इस किले पर शेरशाह सूरी का अधिपत्य था । किला करीब 15 वर्ग किमी में फैला हुआ है, यह किला आज के समय में पूरी तरह से खंडहर हो चुका है और इसके ज्यादातर हिस्सों में बहुत सारी झाड़िया भी जमी हुई है ।
इस किले में बहुत सारे तहखाने हैं जो कि आज के समय में भी यह पूरी तरह से सही सलामत बचा हुआ है और यह तहखाना देखने में बहुत ही डरावना भी लगता हैं । ऐसा कहा जाता है कि शेरशाह सूरी का परिवार और उनके 10 हजार फौजी दस्ता इसी किले में रहा करते थे। इस पहाड़ के नीचे एक बहुत बड़ा बांध है जो कि दुर्गावती नदी पर बना हुआ है और यह बांध करमचट्ट बांध के नाम से जाना जाता है ।

जूनागढ़ किला (Junagarh Fort) :-- भारत के राजस्थान राज्य के बीकानेर शहर में है । इस किले को वास्तव में चिंतामणि किले और बीकानेर किले - Bikaner Fort के नाम से जाना जाता है और 20 वी शताब्दी के प्रारंभ में इसका नाम बदलकर जूनागढ़ रखा गया था क्योकि 20 वी शताब्दी में किले में रहने वाला परिवार लालगढ़ महल में स्थानांतरित हुआ था । यह किला राजस्थान के उन प्रमुख किलो में शामिल है जो पहाड़ की ऊंचाई पर नही बने है । वर्तमान बीकानेर शहर किले के आस - पास ही विकसित हुआ है । किले का निर्माण बीकानेर के शासक राजा राय सिंह के प्रधान मंत्री करण चंद की निगरानी में किया गया था , राजा राय सिंह ने 1571 से 1611 AD के बीच बीकानेर पर शासन किया था । किले की दीवारों और खाई का निर्माणकार्य 1589 में शुरू हुआ था और 1594 में पूरा हुआ था ।

History of Malerkotla ::---Malerkotla, a Muslim majority state was established in 1454 A.D. by Sheikh Sadruddin-i-Jahan from Afghanistan, and was ruled by his Sherwani descendants. The State of Malerkotla was established in 1600 A.D. During the 1947 riots when Punjab was in flames, the State of Malerkotla did not witness a single incident of violence; through it all, it remained a lone island of peace.
The roots of communal harmony date back to 1705, when Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh 9 and 7 year old sons of 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, were ordered to be bricked alive by the governor of Sirhind Wazir Khan. While his close relative, Sher Mohammed Khan, Nawab of Malerkotla, who was present in the court, lodged vehement protest against this inhuman act and said it was against the tenets of the Quran and Islam. Wazir Khan nevertheless had the Sahibzadas tortured and bricked into a section of wall while still alive. At this the Nawab of Malerkotla walked out of the court in protest. Guru Gobind Singh on learning of this kind and humanitarian approach had blessed the Nawab and the people of Malerkotla that the city will live in the peace and happiness . In recognition of this act, the State of Malerkotla did not witness a single incident of violence during partition.

ब्रिटिश औपनिवेशिक शासन के तहत, एक नामधारी विद्रोह को दबा दिया गया था, और औपनिवेशिक सरकार ने 65 पकड़े गए विद्रोहियों और विद्रोह में शामिल माने जाने वाले विद्रोहियों को फांसी देने का आदेश दिया था। श्री कोवान (लुधियाना के उपायुक्त) और मिस्टर फोर्सिथ (अंबाला के आयुक्त) ने 17 और 18 जनवरी 1872 को बिना किसी मुकदमे के नामधारी को तोपों से मारने का आदेश दिया।
भारत के विभाजन के दौरान , मालेर कोटला राज्य के किसी भी हिस्से में कोई दंगा या रक्तपात नहीं हुआ था। अंतिम नवाब इफ्तखार अली खान ने अशांत अवधि के दौरान शांत और सद्भाव बनाए रखा। वह भारत में रहे और वर्ष 1982 में उनकी मृत्यु हो गई। उनका मकबरा सिरहांडी गेट, मालेर कोटला स्थित शाही कब्रगाह में स्थित है।

When you're visiting carry water and some eatable with you. When I visited some repair work is going on for the stair path leading to the From also called Morcha (top of the hill). The age of the stone stairs is almost the same as the fort.
It is claimed that the fort was built by Kharwar rulers and subsequently captured and fortified by Sher Shah Suri in 1530. Once you reach the first Front called Morcha, you can see the place for the Sentinels to keep eye on the visitors. You can also see the Karamchat Dam from here (Video link is given in the Description) a famous tourist destination in Rohtas and Kaimur. The Fort is around 1 KM from this Morcha.
This fort was built in such a way that the enemy can be seen approaching when they are around 10 kilometers away. The fort of Shergarh was specifically picked by Sher Shah Suri for the safe deposit of his family and his treasure in the initial years of his career and when he clashed with Humayun before the battle of Chausa.
There are hundreds of Tunnels and Cellars in this Fort so that they could be safely pulled out in times of trouble. It is said that the secret of these tunnels was known only to Sher Shah Suri and his trusted soldiers. One of the tunnels was connecting Shergarh Fort to the Rohtasgarh Fort also known as Rohtas Kila. The network of tunnels and cellars is spread in the fort in such a way that people are still afraid to go inside.
It is said that in this fort, the Mughals killed Sher Shah Suri's family and thousands of soldiers. In this video, we're taking you to the fort of Shergarh and its cellars.

Shergarh Fort or Shergarh Kila is also known as Bhurkuda Fort. Shergarh Fort is around 12 KM from Chenari (Rohtas district) in the Indian state of Bihar.
This beautiful tourist destination is located around
120 KM from Varanasi - Oldest Living City,
160 KM from Gaya - Major pilgrimage City, and
190 KM from Patna - Capital City of Bihar
There is a board at the bottom of the hill explaining the Hiking Trail of the Shergarh Fort. You can reach there by your vehicle and afterward, you can start hiking. Once you reach the fort or Hilltop the Beautiful view of the Durgawati River will Amaze you, The river encircles the hill of Shergarh from two sides. It is said that Mughals Killed the family of Sher Shah Suri and throw them into the river from hereThe palace buildings were arranged around two courtyards named Bada Angana (larger courtyard) and Chhota Angana (smaller courtyard) and probably the smaller one was used as the residence by Emperor and his family.

It is claimed that combined together these cellars were capable to accommodate around 10000 people and when Mughals attacked they killed thousands of soldiers inside these cellars (underground chambers) only. The secret of tunnels was known only to Sher Shah Suri and his trusted soldiers. One of the tunnels was connecting Shergarh Fort to the Rohtasgarh Fort also known as Rohtas Kila. The network of tunnels and cellars is spread in the fort in such a way that people are still afraid to go inside.
