This video is about Day 9 of our Madhya Pradesh Tour, We started our journey of MP from Gwalior, there after we went to Jhansi and Orchha. After exploring Orchha we visited Panna and then Khajuraho.

In this episode you will see our journey form Kutni ( near Khajuraho to Datia. Following are the activities we did during this day journey.
This Video was shot on 4th Nov 2022,
Bhimkund - This is a geographical miracle located at 105 km distance from Khajuraho. Till this day no one has been able to judge the depth of Bhimkund, this is a mystery which is unsolved even now.
Bhimkund - It is a natural water source, which is considered to be holy. It has connections with Mahabharat times. It is also known as neelkund, located 80 km from Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh.
We were interested to visit Shri Jatashankar Dham which is around 30 km from bhimkund, but due to paucity of time, we could not visit.
We had breakfast at a local dhaba near bhimkund, Aloo Paratha - Rs 20.
Maharaja Chhatrasal Museum - which is around 85 km from Bhimkund located in Dhubela, Entry ticket - Rs 20 for Indian visitors. Museums houses Antiques, artifacts, Paintings and old sculptures
Shri Pitambara peeth Datia - 75 km from Gwalior, this temple is dedicated to Goddesses Dhumavati & Baglamukhi.

A turquoise blue colour natural water pool believed to be created by the mighty Bheem / Bhim one of the five Pandavas. This sacred place is also associated with Narad who performed Gandharv Gaanam here.
This place is in Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh and the nearest town is Bada Malehara.

Exploring new incredible stories of UNBOUND INDIA continues, in order to show India from my perspective, I am going to introduce you to another wonderful but mysterious place. Bajna village is situated about 77 kilometers away from Chhatarpur city of Madhya Pradesh. #bhimkund is present here. People believe that this pond is from the Pandava period, but experts estimate that it could also be a silent volcano. The attractive blue color of its water further enhances the beauty of this pond. Out of curiosity, many people have dived into it to measure its depth but have been disappointed. Foreign divers have also dived up to 80 meters below and found strong currents of water which are flowing very dangerously. It's definitely very deep. No one knows where the water is coming from and where it is going.
There is also a Sanskrit school in the premises of this Bhimkund, the hum of mantras of the students attracts your attention. This school has been trying to propagate Sanskrit since 1961.
UNBOUND INDIA की खोज लगातार ज़ारी है, भारत को मेरी नज़र से दिखाने की कड़ी में एक और शानदार मगर रहस्य से भरी जगह का परिचय आपसे करवाने जा रहा हूँ। मध्यप्रदेश के छतरपुर शहर से लगभग 77किलोमीटर दूर स्थित है बाजना गांव यहीं मौजूद है भीमकुंड। लोगों का मानना है कि ये कुंड पांडवकालीन है मगर विशेषज्ञों का अनुमान है कि ये एक शांत ज्वालामुखी भी हो सकता है। इसके पानी का नीला आकर्षक रंग इस कुंड की खुबसूरती को और बढ़ा देता है। कौतूहलवश बहुत से लोगों नें इसमें गोता भी लगाया है इसकी गहराई नापने के लिए मगर निराशा ही हाथ लगी। विदेशी गोताखोरों ने भी 80 मीटर तक डुबकी लगाई है नीचे उन्हें पानी की तेज़ धारायें मिली जोकि बहुत खतरनाक तरह से बह रही हैं। बहुत गहरा ज़रूर है। पानी कहाँ से आ रहा है और कहाँ जा रहा है कोई नहीं जानता है।
इसी भीमकुंड के अहाते में एक संस्कृत विद्यालय भी है विद्यार्थियों के मंत्रों की गुन्जन बरबस ही आपका ध्यान अपनी ओर आकर्षित कर लेता है। संस्कृत के प्रचार प्रसार के लिए ये विद्यालय सन 1961 से प्रयासरत है।

Bundelkhand Bhimkund - a true story
Bhimkund is a Natural water tank and a holy place in India. Bhimkund is located near Bajna village in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh and its 77km away from the district headquarters. The water of this tank is fully transparent. The tank is believed to have measureless depth. Locals say, water level of Bhimkund soar about 30 meters when last Tsunami hit in 2004.
This video is of a boy named Tiwari who enjoyed this tank-water like a fish. Depth of the tank never stopped him from jumping into; from top of the hill........he loved to show his skills in water. I planned to shoot a documentary on his skills....but when we went to Bhimkund after few months... to shoot the documentary .......we were shocked ....this boy 'Tiwari' was no more. He died without proper treatment. He had Jaundice (an easily curable symptom now-a-days). Instead of taking 'tiwari' to hospital for medical attention, his family and villagers tried for non-medical systems like ...mantra...tantra....etc....
This video was taken on my first visit to Bhimkund with my friend Shailendra Singh.......the first and the last meeting with 'Tiwari'
