You pay a deposit, or Pfand, for your mug and you can get it refilled throughout the market. Each market has its own mug, often printed with the year and a festive design
The majority of Christmas Markets across Europe only accept cash. The currency used in Germany is the Euro (€). Even stalls that accept card will often have a minimum card payment, and so it's better to take cash, just to be on the safe side.

The Kleinert Bakery is a short walk from Market Square and provides baking classes for delights like the Leipzig Lerchen.

Pro tip: take the bus 100. Its route takes you passed many major attractions, sometimes stopping right near the attraction, sometimes requiring you to get out and walk a little ways to get there.

Dresden’s public transport network is comprehensive, reasonably priced, and accessible with a seamless network of trams, S-Bahn trains and buses getting you from A to B every 10 minutes during daytime. Tickets are available at many stops, on board the trams and S-Bahn trains or via the DVB mobile app. The latter also provides timetables, real-time departures, disruption reports and an interactive map.

Die 10,5 km lange Tour ist gut ausgeschildert und ist in 3 Stunden zu bewältigen.

We are now in the hilly region between The Swabian Alb and The Black Forest, starting the drive at the impressive Hohenzollern Castle. After a short downhill ride to the B27 national, we drive further on B27 southbound, until Rottweil, from where the B462 brings us to the beautifully located town of Schramberg, a big center of clock industry. Had a great time driving on these scenic road in this beautiful part of Germany, enjoy!

Rund um Schramberg im Schwarzwald
Wir wandern über die Oberndorfer Straße bis zum Fluß „Schiltach“ und folgen ihm bis zur Kirche Sankt Maria. Beim Turm der alten Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus beginnt der Burgweg, der zur Burgruine Hohenschramberg führt. Nach einem Rundgang durch die Ruine wandern wir an Felsen vorbei zu den Lauterbacher Wasserfällen. Auf dem Weg zurück in die Stadtmitte fällst die besondere Architektur der Junghans Uhrenwerke auf.

STREET VIEW: Ruine Hohenschramberg im Schwarzwald in GERMANY
Bei meinem ersten Rundgang durch Schramberg sah ich auch die Ruine Hohenschramberg. Allerdings war bei meinen ersten Besuch in Schramberg keine Zeit mehr zum Aufstieg zur Burg. Beim zweiten Anlauf suchte ich einen kürzeren Weg zur Burg, aber der offizielle Weg zur Burg war gesperrt. Die Umleitung war recht abenteuerlich und weit. Aber das Ziel hat den langen Umweg wieder wett gemacht. Die Burganlage ist beeindruckend und der Ausblick gigantisch.
