Zwickau and Schneeberg in Saxony | Destination Culture: Hannah Hummel on Tour in Germany
The city of Zwickau in eastern Germany has a long and varied history of car production and industrial design. Its story is told in the August Horch Museum – beginning with the production of Horch cars, to Audis, to the East German car, the Trabant. On her trip to Zwickau, Hannah Hummel discovers the city’s car history, as well as its art and cultural history. Both the composer Robert Schumann and the expressionist painter and printmaker Max Pechstein were born in Zwickau. This episode of Destination Culture also takes viewers to Schneeberg – a creative hub in Saxony, where students from around the world study fashion and textile design.

Eine der schönsten Wanderungen zum Ochsenkopf im Fichtelgebirge (Deutschland)
Im heutigen Video zeige ich euch Ausschnitte einer sehr schönen Wanderung zum Ochsenkopf im Fichtelgebirge.
Der Ochsenkopf ist mit einer Höhe von 1024 m Der zwei höchste Berg des Fichtelgebirges in Oberfranken. Der Ochsenkopf liegt zwischen Warmensteinach, Fichtelberg und Bischofsgrün und gehört zum Landkreis Bayreuth. Auf dem Gipfel befindet sich der Asenturm mit einem Restaurant und ein 191 Meter hoher Funkturm.
Wir starten unsere Wanderung vom Parkplatz Fichtelsee in Neubau. Von dort geht es in den Wald vorbei am Max Reger Fels, weiter zur Fichtelnaabquelle und zum Weißmainfelsen. Danach kommen wir vorbei an der Weißmainquelle und schließlich zum Ochsenkopf. Auf dem Rückweg passieren wir die Quelle der warmen Steinach.

Fichtelgebirge - die schönste Wanderung zum Schneeberg
Heute werden wir von Weißenstadt zum Schneeberg Wandern. Dabei passieren wir die Rudolfsteine und die drei Brüder. Die Tour ist knapp 12 km lang und mit mehreren Aussichtspunkten gespickt. Der Schneeberg ist mit 1053 Metern der höchste Berg im Frankenland. Zusammen mit dem nur wenig niedrigeren Ochsenkopf (1024 Meter) bildet er das Dach Frankens.
Wir starten unsere Wanderung am Wanderparkplatz Rudolfstein bei Weißenstadt. Von hier geht's bergauf über den Rudolfstein, die drei Brüder Felsen zum Schneeberg.
Der Rudolfstein:
Der Rudolfstein liegt auf 866 m und ist eines der vielen Wahrzeichen des Fichtelgebirges. Das Rudolfstein massiv mit den unweit entfernt liegenden Drei Brüder Felsen bilden eines der schönsten Geotope in ganz Bayern.
Drei Brüder Felsen:
Der auf 840 Meter Höhe liegende Drei Brüder Felsen der unter Naturschutz steht, ist eine Granitturmgruppe. Er befindet sich etwas südlich vom Rudolfstein bei Weißenstadt. Der Drei-Brüder-Felsen ist durch die sogenannte Matratzen-Verwitterung des Granits entstanden, und sieht auch aus als hätte jemand mehrere Matratzen aufeinander gestapelt.
Schneeberg:
Der Schneeberg ist mit 1051 m höhe der höchste Berg im Frankens und
Nordostbayerns. Schon von weitem kann man ihn am ehemaligen Fernmeldeturm der Bundeswehr erkennen, einem Mahnmal an des Kalten Krieges. Der Gipfelbereich besteht aus mehreren militärischen Gebäuden und einer Felsformation auf der das Backöfele steht (das Bachöfele ist ein Aussichtstürmchen).

Schneeberg , with the summit Klosterwappen is the highest mountain of Lower Austria. A day trip to Schneeberg is a good option when you want to escape the city. Multiple walking trails are available to the Schneeberg plateau. You can walk/hikes there for hours to enjoy the beautiful views.
Arrival by Public Transport-
Take a train from either Wien Hauptbahnhof or Wien Meidling to Wiener Neustadt, then change to the regional local train to reach Puchberg. From Puchberg, take the Salamander train to reach the top of the mountain.

Der Děčínský Sněžník bei Jílové in der tschechischen Region Ústecký kraj ist mit 722,8 m n.m. der höchste Berg des Elbsandsteingebirges. Typisch für den Berg sind die steilen, kaum gegliederten Felswände seiner Flanken aus festem Sandstein des Turon. Auf ihm steht seit 1864 der Aussichtsturm Schneebergturm. Wikipedia

Schneeberger Weihnachtsmarkt - Aufnahmen vom 07.12.19 - Lichtelfest
Der Schneeberger Weihnachtsmarkt ist in diesem Jahr vom 29. November bis zum 22. Dezember täglich von 11.00 bis 19.00 Uhr, freitags und samstags bis 20 Uhr geöffnet. Aufgrund der eingeschränkten (begrenzten) Parkmöglichkeiten in der Innenstadt verweisen wir alle Besucher und Gäste auf den kostenfreien Platz unter den Linden. Von dort ist der Weihnachtsmarkt in 5 Gehminuten erreichbar!
Insgesamt sind zum Weihnachtsmarkt im Stadtzentrum 35 Marktstände aufgebaut. Die 23 Meter hohe Fichte erstrahlt im Glanz von über 600 Lichtern. Eine Attraktion ist die 10,80 Meter hohe Pyramide mit 33 Figuren. Zum Schneeberger Lichtelfest, am 2. Adventswochenende, bieten über 100 Händler ihre Waren an. Die neuen Schneeberger Marktbuden spiegeln in ihrer Gestaltung die barocke Architektur des Stadtzentrums wieder. Wer sich umschaut, kann schnell Ähnlichkeiten entdecken. Wenn das Wetter noch etwas Schnee beschert, wird die richtige vorweihnachtliche Stimmung aufkommen .. (Quelle schneeberg.de)
