Driving in Germany: Autobahn A31 from Meppen to Kreuz Schüttorf (A30)
In this video you can drive along on the Autobahn A31 that runs parallel to the border with the Netherlands in the West of Germany. We start around the city of Meppen, where the B402 (E233) meets the A31.
Driving southbound to Kreuz Schüttorf, where the A31 meets the A30, we take the exit in the eastern direction (Osnabrück). The western exit takes you back to the Netherlands (signed Amsterdam).
This stretch of A31 is mostly unlimited and popular among Dutch people for 'speed tests', at least that's the impression I often get when I drive this Autobahn. It's similar to the A3 and A57 Autobahns running from the Dutch border.

[4K] Driving in Germany: Bundesstraße B33 from Kreuz Hegau (A81 / A98) to Konstanz
In this video you can drive along on the B33 from Kreuz Hegau to the city of Konstanz. The first part is a nice 2x2 expressway but closer to Konstanz it goes back to its old alignment. Although as you can see in the video there are construction works to expand the B33 all the way to Konstanz, things are progressing quite slowly.
If I'm not mistaken the situation was similar back in 2018, when I last drove here. There didn't seem to be a whole lot of activity on the construction site. Konstanz is a larger border city on Lake Constance (Bodensee) that houses a lot of students and is a popular tourist destination.

GERMANY: St Lawrence Church - Schüttorf
Enjoying the view from the tower of the Evangelical-Reformed Church of Saint Lawrence (Kirche St. Laurentius).
The church is located in Schüttorf, a town in Germany.
It is the districts oldest town and lies on the river Vechte, roughly 5 km east of Bad Bentheim, and about 10 km from the Dutch border.
The church is also known as große Kirche (Big Church) or Schüttorfer Riese (Schüttorf Giant).
It is a three-naved hall church built in the Gothic style with four bays, a transept and a polygonal choir.
The churchs overall length is 54m and its width 19m. The tower is 81.17m high and can be seen from anywhere in Schüttorf.
There are six bells hanging in the tower, among them an old firebell from 1435. The churchs organ is a two-manualled instrument with tin pipes. it was built in 1963 by the Swiss organ-building business Th. Kuhn.

In this video you can drive along from Aachen in Germany to Maastricht in the Netherlands. Together with the Belgian city of Liège they form a larger '3 city - 3 country' metropolitan area.
Both Aachen and Maastricht are very popular with students and have good universities. The cities are also similar in regards of having a fairly compact city center. Both are worth a visit. Especially Maastricht, which is typically regarded as the most 'undutch' city in the Netherlands.
The distance covered in this video is not much more than 30 kilometers, but it's by all means considered to be the 'scenic route' between both cities. Typically one would take the highways in the area, Autobahn A4 and Dutch motorways A76, A79 and A2.

From minute 12 : 43 you can see the Gulpener 'beer bridge'. Gulpener beer is a smaller Dutch beer brand but still quite authentic. A bridge over the road transports goods between the brewery and further locations of the company.
At minute 16 : 08 there is the exit on the left to the American war cemetery of Margraten. I've visited once many years ago and it's quite impressive. Memorials are still held there each year.

Что посмотреть?
В национальном парке Айфель на территории более 10 тысяч гектаров проживают и охраняются 900 видов растений и животных, входящих в состав Красной книги.
11 ноября каждого года в 11 часов 11 минут по местному времени стартует самый массовый карнавал, проходящий в Кёльне. Громкая музыка, карнавальные наряды, реки пенных напитков и крики «Кёлле Алааф!» - все составляющие массовых гуляний.
Обязательно стоит заглянуть хоть раз в ресторан, подающий традиционные вестфальские яства. Самые знаменитые из них – вестфальские колбаски.
Достопримечательности
Достопримечательности региона расположены в основном в исторических центрах городов. Вот лишь небольшая часть:
В Бонне можно посетить дом, где родился Людвиг ван Бетховен;
В Кёльне можно найти одну из самых посещаемых достопримечательностей Германии – Кёльнский собор 13 века;
К западу от Мюнстера можно посмотреть на Замок Хюльсхофф – дом известных вестфальских аристократов. Интересный факт, что раньше портрет Аннет фон Дросте-Хюльсхофф украшал купюру в 20 марок.

[4KHDR] Driving in Germany: Esslingen to Stuttgart Airport (STR) Night Drive
In this video you can drive along from Esslingen am Neckar to the airport of Stuttgart (Manfred Rommel). It's a night drive for a change, but because most of the drive is well-illuminated it worked out quite well.
Esslingen am Neckar is a larger satellite city in the Stuttgart Metropolitan area. It's situated about 10 kilometers (South)East of the city. Including all the outer boroughs it has around 100.000 inhabitants and is well connected in terms of infrastructure, with easy access to the Autobahn A8 and B10 expressway.
In this particular video we drive up the 'Zollberg' South of Esslingen and pass Ostfildern, another satellite city, on our way to the A8. From there we drive West for about 5-10 kilometers and then take the exit to Stuttgart Airport.

Let op het gehaaste slecht horende gedrag van de licht grijze Audi bij 2e grensovergang: Spielfeld-Šentilj (A). Bij Oostenrijkse grens werden de Oostenrijkers er uit gehaald en moesten hun test of QR code laten zien. Zoals op de beelden is te zien zijn de andere twee grensovergangen meer visuele controle.
Ik reed deze Pyhrn Autobahn (A9) route voor het eerst, na adviezen van diverse facebook groepen rondom vakanties in Kroatië als alternatief voor de file gevoelige Tauern-Karawanke (A10) route. Ook in Istrië niet de bekende twee grensovergangen via Koper genomen maar de Sočerga grensovergang via Buzet. Je maakt meer kilometers, je tankt goedkoper in Gračišče Slovenië pompje aan de B-208. Tunnel Maut in Oostenrijk was 6 en 9,50 euro, samen 15,50.
Deze route kent meer tunnels, maar minder hoogte verschillen, dus meer ideaal voor caravans en zwaar beladen campers.

Note the hurried hard-of-hearing typo in the white Audi at the 2nd border crossing: Spielfeld-Šentilj (A). At the Austrian border, the Austrians were taken out and had to show their test or QR code. As can be seen from the images, the other two border crossings are more visual control.
I drove this Pyhrn Autobahn (A9) route for the first time, after advice from various facebook groups about holidays in Croatia as an alternative to the traffic-prone Tauern-Karawanke (A10) route. Also in Istria we did not take the well-known two border crossings via Koper but the Sočerga border crossing via Buzet. You make more kilometers, you fill up cheaper in Gračišče Slovenia pump on the B-208. Tunnel Maut in Austria was 6 and 9.50 euros, together 15.50 euro.
This route has more tunnels, but less height differences, so more ideal for caravans and heavily loaded campers.
There will be a longer compilation of the dashcam images, which shows more what the route looks like, intended for those who do not know it yet.

Driving in Germany: Autobahn A2 E34 & B224 from Bottrop to Essen
In this video you can ride along on Autobahn A2 E34 & Bundesstraße B224 from Bottrop (A31) to Essen in the German Ruhrgebiet. The industrial Ruhr area is famous for its many Autobahns crossing through, the A2 being a major one connecting the West of Germany with the heart and East (Berlin) of the country.
The B224 is an urban expressway connecting the North and South of the Ruhr area, mainly serving intercity and urban traffic between the cities of Gladbeck, Essen and Velbert. The speed limit is mostly capped at 70 km/h outside of the cities. The traffic flow is impeded by quite a few junctions with traffic lights, it's unlikely that they will limit access to the B224 and introduce grade-separated junctions anytime soon.
