WHAT
MONTE ISOLA
In Monte Isola, one of the largest islands of European lakes, you can find narrow alleys, stone houses, and colorful boats.
LOVERE
Lovere is absolutely among the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Do not miss the fifteenth-century Basilica of S. Maria in Valvendra, the Civic Tower, and Galleria dell’Accademia Tadini, with works by Canova.
ISEO, SARNICO AND PISOGNE
Along with Lovere, Iseo, Sarnico and Pisogne are the main towns of Lake Iseo.
Iseo is the tourist capital of the lake, and still seems like a medieval village with alleys and tower houses.
Pisogne, on the northeastern shore of the lake, is the meeting point between the lake and the mountains.
Sarnico is on the southern shore of the lake and hosts some elegant Liberty villas by the architect Sommaruga.

Lake Iseo: esploriamo Sarnico (BG) con sorpresa..
Sarnico, un tempo borgo di pescatori, si trova sulla sponda bergamasca del Lago d’Iseo, dove il fiume Oglio ne accoglie le acque.
Attrazioni storiche, ville Liberty, passeggiate sul Lungolago e spiagge attrezzate dove prendere il sole e fare il bagno immersi nella natura, ne fanno una piacevole località di soggiorno.
Località ricca di storia, interessante sia dal punto di vista culturale che architettonico. Grazie alla sua bellezza “Art Nuveau” è insignita del titolo di Capitale italiana del Liberty.
Senza dimenticare che Sarnico è conosciuta in tutto il mondo anche per i cantieri nautici Riva, uno dei marchi di imbarcazioni di lusso più famosi a livello internazionale.
Nei mesi estivi è meta prediletta per chi desidera trascorrere le vacanze tra natura, storia e relax, prendere il sole e fare il bagno nelle acque del Lago d’Iseo.
PARATICO: Un caratteristico ponte di confine lo separa e, al tempo stesso, lo unisce a Sarnico, tanto da sembrare agli occhi del visitatore un’unica località. La buona posizione rispetto alle principali via di comunicazione, lo rende punto di partenza per visitare il lago e la Franciacorta.
RIVA DI SOLTO: quiete, bellezza e romanticismo. Il piccolo borgo medievale, con i suoi antichi palazzi, giardini secolari e il suggestivo lungolago affascina per l’eleganza d’altri tempi. Insomma… un gioiello da non perdere.
DA NON PERDERE l'anfiteatro naturale del Bogn; un’insenatura dalla bellezza mozzafiato che rappresenta una delle sorprese naturalistiche maggiormente attrattive del lago d’Iseo, con rocce a strapiombo e acque cristalline che bagnano una piccola spiaggia di sassi. Si raggiunge dall’abitato di Riva di Solto passeggiando in direzione Lovere lungo la suggestiva promenade di recente realizzazione. Dal Bogn inoltre parte la strada litoranea a picco sul lago, interamente scavata nella roccia e percorribile in auto verso il paese di Castro, che offre scorci e paesaggi particolarmente emozionanti.
Un ringraziamento agli amici di una una valigia per due che ci hanno accompagnato alla scoperta di questi meravigliosi paesaggi.

Sarnico is an uncrowded waterfront gem. Situated on the Lago d' Iseo or Lake Iseo. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops and services while retaining it's small town charm. It has a pleasant, pastel historic center right on the lake, with cordial residents and a relaxed atmosphere.
Sarnico is a romantic town in an idyllic setting. It is halfway between Brescia and Bergamo, and Milano is only an hour train ride.

SARNICO e LAGO D ISEO - Una Giornata di Relax.
Sarnico un paese affacciato sul lago d Iseo.
Lasciando l auto nei pressi dell posta, che dista circa 250 metri dal lago, ci si
incammina verso il lungo lago.
Una bella passeggiata con i nostri amici, ha reso questa giornata molto bella e il lungo lago di SARNICO, sul lago d'Iseo, collega un altra località molto carina: Paratico.
Il lungo lago è molto ampio e con la sua passeggiata di 2km e oltre, non annoia mai, anzi, per chi volesse bere un caffè o mangiare, Sarnico offre tantissimi locali molto carini con vista lago.
Il lungo lago è adatto anche a famiglie con passeggini.
Sarnico si trova in Lombardia, sul lago d'iseo e ha come fiume immissario il fiume Oglio.
Consigliamo di andare il sabato per evitare di trovare il caos turistico della domenica, e camminando fino a Paratico si ha la possibilità di vedere delle bancarelle con prodotti tipici del luogo.
Merita senza dubbio una bella passeggiata.

The Orrido del Bogn is an amazing place quite hidden and unexpected in Riva di Solto LakeIseoNorthernItaly. It’s a natural amphitheater composed of stacks overlooking the lake. Before arriving there there are also places where you can relax and take the sun. Here, the crystalline waters take on even more suggestive shades, offering a panorama that is nothing short of marvelous.
It’s very easy to arrive at this fantastic place. When you are in the Riva di Solto town center on the pedestrian street at the lakeside and look at the lake, follow the promenade along the lake at your left. Go straight following the pedestrian street along the lake. After about 15 minutes of walking, you’ll arrive at the Orrido del Bogn.
