Every time I go to Sam Pedro De Macoris I have an amazing time, its such a colorful city fill with so much culture history an good people that knows how to have a good time, SMP has it all you can enjoy the amazing Juan Dolio and Guayacanes beach, go crazy in el Malecon one of the best in the country or have some delicious food like the pasteles en oja from Amables restaurants. come visit the city with biggest amount of major leagues players in the Dominican Republic where baseball is like a religion. lol.

También es la ciudad natal de los ex jugadores de béisbol de las Grandes Ligas Angel Castro y Mendy Lopez.
A drive through the welcoming city of Pimentel located in the Duarte province with a population of just shy of 10,000 inhabit. A very friendly place with good food and good atmosphere and a surprising night life. It is located less than a half hour away from San Francisco De Macoris. It is also the hometown of former Major League Baseball Players Angel Castro and Mendy Lopez.

After all the excursions, restaurants, beaches and scooter rides we put together a movie of our lives in the Dominican Republic for that month. What a fantastic adventure the Dominican Republic is a beautiful country, and it was an overall great experience. With stunning beaches, beautiful ocean, hiking, waterfalls, whale watching and much more, this definitely qualifies for one of our favorites for couples to visit. There's so much to do in the Dominican Republic, and this video will give you an idea of everything we did in the month we lived on the Samana Peninsula.

Only a few years ago the standing joke was that the pot holes in the DR were big enough to swallow a volkswagon. Follow the team on this set of videos and you will see that that is no longer the case. The newest major roads are engineering masterpieces spanning serious mountain ranges and opening much more of the country to both tourists and locals. In this latest series of videos we head out with the 4-wheel drive vehicle to inspect one of the latest ambitious roadworks projects that hug the crests of the mountains from Rio San Juan on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic all the way to San Francisco de Macoris, the third largest city in the central region of the country. We are exploring this new roadway in the early stages of construction, but it will only be a few months before this impressive roadway rivals the new roads from Santo Domingo to Samana.
