If you are looking for a surf school in India, then there's no place better than THE SHAKHA SURF CLUB. The Shakha Surf Club is located in the beautiful fishing village of Kodi Bengre near UDUPI! It is a thin strip of land mass surrounded by water on both sides! The Suvarna river on one side and the Arabian sea on the other.
They don't just teach you Surfing but other skills like Skateboarding and Kayaking as well.
I went to stay there for 3 Days and BELIEVE me, I had the BEST TIME of MY LIFE there.

I VISITED the LEAST POPULATED INDIAN STATE ????
I went to EXPLORE a village in the LEAST POPULATED & one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL STATES in India - SIkkim and the name of the Village was Yuksom. I wanted to see what's life in Yuksom like and if it is a great place for SOLO TRAVELLERS or not and what I saw just blew my mind.
