Conhecendo o Salto do Itiquira e o Itiquira Park em Formosa, Goiás, a 120km de Brasília. É a oitava maior queda d'água do Brasil, acessível facilmente por uma trilha curta e com calçada. Também conhecida como Cachoeira Itiquira.
O Salto do Itiquira é uma das maiores belezas de Goiás. O nome vem do tupi antigo e significa gotas d'água, mas oferece muito mais do que algumas gotinhas. A queda de 168m de altura é a oitava maior do Brasil e fica no Parque Municipal do Itiquira, no município goiano de Formosa, a 120km de Brasília - duas horas de carro. Devido à ótima infraestrutura do parque, é um passeio para toda a família! Vamos falar sobre o Parque Municipal e sobre o Itiquira Park, parque aquático próximo do local.

25 Things to do in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil Travel Guide and Top Attractions Transcript:
First up, we started with the city’s most iconic sight: Christ Redeemer. We boarded the train as soon as the station opened and made our way to the top of Corcovado Mountain. Sometimes the statue can be shielded by fog, but we lucked out with beautiful blue skies and panoramic views of the city as far as the eye could see.
For a bit of colour, we headed over to the Selaron Steps, which is a tiled staircase created by Chilean artist, Jorge Selarón. Initially Selaron would scavenge construction sites looking for tiles, but in later years as his work gained notoriety, travellers began donating tiles.
Since we chose to stay in the neighbourhood of Ipanema, we ended up spending quite a bit of time at Ipanema Beach. We noticed that this beach was really popular for beach football, volleyball, and surfing. And of course, what makes this beach so iconic are its two mountains, known as Dois Irmãos. If you come here on a clear day, you can catch a killer sunset.
No visit to Rio de Janeiro would be complete without heading up Sugarloaf Mountain, so when the skies finally cleared that’s exactly what we did. We paid for our tickets and boarded the cable car for a somewhat unnerving ride up. If you’re scared of heights, this probably isn’t the attraction for you, however, if you manage to make it to the top you get some really cool panoramic views of Rio.
Copacabana Beach is the most famed beach in all of Rio de Janeiro and if you were to visit on a weekend during the summer months you’d find that the place is packed beyond belief. We happened to be here in winter so things were a lot more relaxed, but that didn’t stop visitors from braving the waters.
We did a favela tour to Babilônia and Chapéu Mangueira. On our tour we saw lots of street art, learned about life inside a favela.

For most of its course, the river flows through Brazil; however, most of the falls are on the Argentine side. Below its confluence with the San Antonio River, the Iguazu River forms the boundary between Argentina and Brazil. The name Iguazú comes from the Guarani or Tupi words y [ɨ], meaning water, and ûasú [waˈsu], meaning big. Legend has it that a deity planned to marry a beautiful woman named Naipí, who fled with her mortal lover Tarobá in a canoe. In a rage, the deity sliced the river, creating the waterfalls and condemning the lovers to an eternal fall. Drone Salto do Itiquira - Formosa - GO
História
O Salto do Itiquira (termo de origem tupi que significa gota de água) está localizado no Parque Municipal do Itiquira, no Município de Formosa- GO há apenas 115 km de Brasília.
Descrição
O Salto do Itiquira além de ser a segunda maior cachoeira da região Centro-Oeste (até o início de 2017 era considerada a maior, mas um grupo de rapel efetuou a medição na Cachoeira do Label, em São João D'Aliança, e descobriu que ela superava o Itiquira em altura), é a maior queda livre acessível do País. São 168mts de altura, dando a esse magnífico lugar toda paz e tranqüilidade para quem deseja sair do stress do dia-a-dia. O Parque municipal do Itiquira oferece um passeio de fácil acesso e calçado, do estacionamento até a queda são aproximadamente 15 minutos, é um passeio para toda as idades. Para quem procura mais aventura o Salto do Itiquira oferece trilhas para o acesso acima da cachoeira, com um cenário incrível. Forma-se, em sua base, um poço, porém, não é permitido o banho, pois a força da queda d'água é muito forte. Logo abaixo, no rio, há outros poços com pequenas cachoeiras, onde é possível o banho. Depois do salto, o rio forma uma sequência de cachoeiras, corredeiras e poços, cobertos por uma densa floresta.
