Minneapolis and Saint Paul are some of the two best cities in America. They're also home to some of the most amazing things to do, see, eat, drink and experience. In this video, I give you 15 must-do activities that will help you get started exploring these fantastic places!
Minneapolis and Saint Paul are two cities that are located in the state of Minnesota. They are located on opposite banks of the Mississippi River just north of its confluence with the Minnesota River, which forms the border between the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin at this point. The Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area consists of over 16 cities in Minnesota with a population of 3.6 million people.
Unlike most Twin Cities, Minneapolis (MPLS) is slightly larger by population than Saint Paul, though today it is not as true as it was for most of the 20th Century. Saint Paul has won national acclaim for its beauty and livability.
The two cities have very different histories and they blend beautifully today. Although it's hard to say which is the better of the two, I'm referring to Minneapolis as a much more boring place than Saint Paul (in terms of activities and things to do).
Minneapolis has a lot of fun things for you to do, like the Mill City Museum or the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, in which you can immerse yourself in flour and the history of Minneapolis. Or visit the Science Museum of Minnesota for over 300 interactive exhibits covering science, art, history, and nature in Saint Paul.

The city that gave the world Prince and Bob Dylan is one of the Midwest’s cultural and economic powerhouses and shares the Twin Cities metropolitan area with its near neighbor, Saint Paul. Few big cities are blessed with as much public parkland as Minneapolis. Water is everywhere, at 13 lakes, the roaring Mississippi River, wetlands, and waterfalls. What’s fantastic is that you can immerse yourself in this environment, hopping from lake to lake in the Chain of Lakes. Saint Anthony Waterfall on the Mississippi provided the impetus for the largest water-powered milling facility in the world in the 19th century.

Switzerland is a small country full of surprises and wonderful villages. Since decades, Switzerland has been attracting numerous tourists from allover the world. It is the Alps that fascinates most of the visitors but also the very well preserved villages. Although Switzerland is quite small, depending on the region, the villages and towns may look very different. In this video, the 10 most beautiful villages from allover the country will be presented in detail. While there may be a few that you might have heard of, there will be quite some surprises. Gruyères is THE place to experience the medieval vibes in Switzerland. The castle, the museums and furthermore the foodie world of Gruyères are really exciting to experience, do not forget to try fondue, Gruyère cheese and double cream! Zermatt is the most popular village on this list. Visit the many panoramas over the Swiss Alps, see the Matterhorn or simply explore the village of Zermatt itself! Discover the many beautiful traditional wooden houses scattered around this Swiss village! Visit what used to be the smallest municipality of Switzerland: Corippo. Corippo is located in the Valle Verzasca in Ticino. It's a wonderful village full of stone houses and very interesting: ONLY 12 people live in there! Surely, it's not crowded there. Saint-Ursanne is another medieval village; the town that could be in a fairytale. Saint-Ursanne is built along the river doubs and charms with its many medieval houses and wonderful abbey. Guarda - the town of Schellenursli - in the lower Engadin is located in the Rumantsch speaking region of Switzerland. It's far away the urban centres and very quiet. Best to visit during Summer or on Chalandamarz! Grimentz is THE stereotypical village of Switzerland. It's located up in the Swiss Alps and charms with its many traditional wooden houses. The houses are all decorated with red flowers; cheesy and alluring! Lauterbrunnen is another touristy favorite. The village is small but it's located in the Valley of 72 Waterfalls! Enjoy the scenery with its many waterfalls and greens! Do not forget to go up to Wengen and the Jungfraujoch! Epesses is located in Switzerland's wine region at lake Geneva! It's a wonderful village in the middle of the vineyards and definitely offers you enough viewpoints over the wine terraces, lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps. Stein am Rhein is also a very medieval and cultural village. The old town is perfectly preserved and charms with its many painted houses. Spectacular is the No e Wili play that is held on a 10-25 years base. Enjoy swimming in the river Rhine or dining at the Castle Hohenklingen. MORCOTE is the most beautiful Swiss village on this Top 10 list! It's located at Lake Lugano and charms with its appearance of being built at the hill. Stunning is the church Maria del Sasso, the wonder garden in the Parco Scherrer and furthermore the many viewpoints on the hill. Morcote is by the way considered not very touristy. Heading to Europe & Not Sure What to Pack? Here are a few things that my fellow US travelers may want to avoid packing if they are traveling to Europe.
1. Baseball Caps: Europeans in general do not wear baseball caps, especially backwards. You would be better served to wear a more traditional hat. You will see an occasional NY Yankee hat, but why not buy the fancy hat you always wanted instead?
2. Athletic Wear: Europeans tend to wear athletic wear to do sports, not to wear around town. There is a trend of more athleisurewear in Europe, but it is not to the extent that there is in US.
3. Khakis: the omnipresent US male pant choice is not something you will see too often in Europe. Go for colored pants or jeans. If you want khaki like pants wear Chinos instead of Dockers. The pants you will see are a thinner cut or skinnier fit than in the US.
4. Oversized US University Sweatshirts.
5. Sport Shoes or High Heals: US sport shoes and white socks are not quite as popular in Europe as they are in the US. You may be better off with Urban Street shoes like Vans instead. Also, women should be careful with high heels as with all the cobblestone it is easy to hurt your ankles.

St. Anthony Hotel San Antonio: Marriott Luxury Collection
In this weeks video we are staying in the beautiful St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio, Tx, a Marriott Luxury Collection Hotel.
The St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio, Texas is a historic luxury hotel that has been an iconic landmark of the city since its opening in 1909.
The hotel opened its doors on February 1, 1909, and quickly became a favorite of local residents and visitors alike. The 10-story Beaux-Arts style building featured 300 guest rooms, luxurious amenities, and the city's first electric-powered elevator.
In the 1920s, the St. Anthony became a popular destination for celebrities and politicians, including President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who stayed at the hotel during a visit to San Antonio in 1936.
During World War II, the hotel served as a military hospital, and afterward, it underwent several renovations and updates to maintain its luxury status.
The St. Anthony Hotel was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, and it remains one of the most iconic and historic landmarks of San Antonio to this day.
Today, the St. Anthony Hotel continues to operate as a luxury hotel, with 277 guest rooms and suites, several dining and drinking options, and numerous event spaces. The hotel has undergone additional renovations and updates in recent years, including the addition of a rooftop pool and bar, while still preserving its historic charm and elegance.
