सोरों सूकरक्षेत्र भारत के उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य में कासगंज जनपद का एक नगर है। यहाँ प्रत्येक अमावस्या, सोमवती अमावस्या, पूर्णिमा, रामनवमी, मोक्षदा एकादशी आदि अवसरों पर तीर्थयात्रियों का बड़ी संख्या में आवागमन होता है और गंगा में स्नान कर पुण्य प्राप्त करते हैं। यहाँ अस्थि विसर्जन का विशेष महत्त्व है। यहाँ स्थित कुण्ड में विसर्जित की गईं अस्थियाँ तीन दिन के अन्त में रेणुरूप धारण कर लेती हैं। यह महाकवि गोस्वामी तुलसीदास की जन्मभूमि है। सोरों सूकरक्षेत्र के तीर्थपुरोहित जगत् विख्यात हैं। इनके पास प्रत्येक परिवार के पूर्वजों का इतिहास हैं।

Soron Shukar Kshetra Railway Station , Kasganj
Soron Shookar Kshetra is a city and a municipal board in Kasganj district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Many Pilgrims gather here on each Amavasya., Somvati Amavasya, Deepawali, Sharad-Poornima, Makar Sankranti and Ramanavami are special occasions for such gatherings, celebrations and taking a bath in Holy river Ganga.
Once located on the bank of river Ganges, Soron now lies about 10 km from the present course of the river. It boasts of its location being almost the same distance from Agra, Khair, Aligarh, Bareilly & Mathura. There is a sacred kund (also known as HAR KI PAUDI)located in Soron where people drown the remains of their deceased family members. It is said that if human ash-bones are left in this kund, they dissolve and disappear over a period of time believed to be 72 hours.
There are so many temples and other holy places in this city that it will take a longtime to cover all. Some of them are Someshwar Mahadev, Manas Mandir, Parshuram Mandir, Barah Bhagwan Mandir, Syam Barah Mandir, Raghunathji Mandir, Bhuteshwar Mahadev, Batuknath Mandir, and Shri Ganga Mata Teli Wala Mandir.
In the months of October and November, Soron plays host to an animal fair. All types of animals are traded. Best breeds of Horses and Camels are displayed and auctioned. It is a colourful event lasting for up to a month. In the month of December, Soron hosts a fair named Margshirsh Ekadashi mela. This fair is very famous and many people come to enjoy it. During the fair people also enjoy taking baths in the holy HAR KI PAUDI.

सोरो सूकर क्षेत्र एक आदि प्रचीन तीर्थ हैं। यह उत्तर प्रदेष के कासगंज mein स्थित है। इस तीर्थ का महत्व अद्धितिय है। यह स्थान जगत की उत्पत्ति का केन्द्र है, पुराण ग्रन्थ्रो मे जो कथाये वर्णित हैं। हिरण्याक्ष दैत्य बडा ही बलवान था, देवताओ पर चढाई करके देवताओ को जीत लिया। व लोको का अधिपति बनकर बैठा। देवता जहा तहा छिप गये भगवान की आराधना करने लगे, तब भगवान वाराह इसी सूकरक्षेत्र मे प्रगट हुऐ। भक्त वत्सल भगवान वारह ने पाताल मे जाकर , दैत्य से युद्ध कर उसका वध किया। पृथ्वी का भार हरण किया। सम्पुर्ण जन मानस सुखी हुआ। देवता स्वर्ग पहुचे। भगवान अपने अवतार के उदेष्य पूरा करने के बाद, निज देह का परित्याग इसी सोरो सूकर पुण्य क्षेत्र मे किया।
