Ep 6 Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh | Nathdwara | Haldighati | Eklingji Temple | Rajasthan Tourism
After exploring Udaipur city for three days we started for Kumbhalgarh. Route that we followed was ;Ekling ji then Sahastra bahu temple, followed by Shree Nathdwara then we went to Haldighati and finally reached Kumbhalgarh in the night.
Date of this journey: 30th Aug 2022.
We hired a taxi from Udaipur for this journey drive name Bhanu , contact number +91 82097 66315
We paid Rs 5000 per day for the vehicle - Innova.
Below is the brief description of activities we did during this day.
Eklingji Temple - It is an ancient temple located 20 km from Udaipur, dedicated to Lord shiva.
Sastra Bahu Temple - 11th Century temple’s architecture is so beautiful, There is no Deity in the temple, located at distance of 2 km from Ekling ji.
Shri Nathdwara Temple - Check out darshan timings before you visit this place, so you can plan your visit time to this famous temple of Lord Krishna.
Swasthik alpahar - We had breakfast from a nearby temple - Rs 25 for 100 gms Moong dal vada.
Purushottam Bhai Dudh Jalebi Vala - This is a 120 year old shop, serving several sweets, we had Rabdi Malpua, Hot Milk - 30 per glass, Jalebi - Rs 20 for 50 gms.
Chetak Restaurant - This restaurant is adjacent to Haldighati Museum, we had rajasthani thali - Rs 210 limited quantity thali.
Haldighati Museum - Ticket - Rs 120 per person. You will get to see learn about what happened during the Haldighati war and some key information about Maharana Pratap life.
Maharana Pratap memorial - 10 min walking distance from the museum, located on hill top.
Chetak Samadhi - memorial built in memory of Chetak famous horse of Maharana Pratap.
Haldighati Darra - This is basically the ghat section, Where maharana pratap army restricted the mughals army to go forward.
Rakt Talai - This is where the actual Battle of Haldighati was fought.

Ep 10 Ranakpur to Bali ( near Jawai) Rajasthan Udaipur circuit Tour | Ranakpur Jain temple.
Ranakpur is about 95 km away from Udaipur. It is majorly famous for Jain temple and Jungle safari in Ranakpur forest.
This video was shot on 3rd Sept 2022, below are the activities we did throughout the day.
Shree Parshuram Misthan Bhandar - It is a small shop in Sadri village which is a border village between Mewar and Marwar.
Kachori: Rs 20
Dhokla: Rs 20 for 100 g
Mirchi Vada: Rs 20
Jain Temple - It is Ranakpur near Sadri town in the Pali district of Rajasthan. The temple is famous for its beautiful carved idol of Parshvanatha made out of a single marble slab. The idol has 1008 snake heads and numerous tails. Built in the 15th century, Ranakpur temples are the largest temples of the Jain cult.
Sun Temple - It's a famous Sun or Surya temple well known as the Surya Narayan Temple. It was built by Maharana Mokal Singh in 1428.This refers to the Sun God who is the presiding deity of the temple.
Ranakpur Dam - It offers some of the best sceneries of sunset, It is surrounded by dense forest which makes you soak in the beauty of nature. People love to visit this place mostly in the early morning and evenings which is the best time for its exploration. It is one of the oldest dams in Rajasthan

Ep 8 Sightseeing near Kumbhalgarh, Rajasthan | Parshuram Cave | Hameerpal Lake
We started our day by visiting Kumbhalgarh fort, as that episode was little longer, we thought of making 2 separate episodes of fort & sightseeing.

This video was shot on 1st September 2022, below are the activities we did throughout the day.
Lucky Restaurant - We had Breakfast near Kumbhalgarh Fort, at Lucky restaurant. If you want to eat something local, it can be done, however it would take 2 to 3 hours to cook food.
Ghisu bhai - 8875718328 - Rs 250 per person all together
Parshuram Cave - It is an ancient cave that can be reached down through 500 stairs. Due to my injury, I avoided doing that. There we noticed a famous Gavari dance was going on, which is a tribal dance performed by bhil tribe, during a 40 day long festival, which happens between July & September in the Mewar region.
Then we proceeded to see the origin point of Banas river.
Junagadh Lodge Kumbhalgarh - 3 Km from Kumbhalgarh fort. We had lunch in this lodge, Rs 250 Pitod Sabji, Pyaz Sabji Rs 220, Papad Sabji Rs 220.
Somebody told me that we can get local food there but upon reaching there we realized that this is a new accommodation, recently opened and food was average, we could have avoided going here. bcoz we went there with the intention of eating local food.
Room cost Rs 3500 room breakfast
Banas river originating point - We visited this place, this is a monsoon river.
On the way to Hameerpal Lake, we saw a waterfall from a distance.
Hameerpal lake is a natural lake, this place is quite popular as Fish Point. You will see African fish.

It literary means gateway of Shrinathji (God).It is a town in India's western state of Rajasthan. It is located in the Aravalli hill. Nathdwara town is also famous as the Apollo of Mewar.
It is a very famous among the Gujarati communities, specially Vaishnavas.
There is a great significance for the Darshan of the Purnima.
There are almost 30 Bus operators in Gujarat who provide the Bus service to Nathdwara.
Nathdwara does not have an airport. Nearest airport is Dabok Airport, which is 41 km away from Nathdwara.
Nathdwara is very well connected by train with almost major cities of the country.
If you wish to come and stay during holidays I would suggest you to book your room in advance. There are many guest houses and cottages in the town but more near than temple are Chittalwala (Cheap rate and rooms) Dhirajdham (above average) and new cottage are suggestible.

श्रीनाथजी श्रीकृष्ण भगवान के ७ वर्ष की अवस्था के रूप हैं। श्रीनाथजी हिंदू भगवान कृष्ण का एक रूप हैं, जो सात साल के बच्चे (बालक) के रूप में प्रकट होते हैं।[1] श्रीनाथजी का प्रमुख मंदिर राजस्थान के उदयपुर शहर से 49 किलोमीटर उत्तर-पूर्व में स्थित नाथद्वारा के मंदिर शहर में स्थित है। श्रीनाथजी को मुख्य रूप से भक्ति योग के अनुयायियों और गुजरात और राजस्थान में वैष्णव और भाटिया एवं अन्य लोगों द्वारा पूजा जाता है।
चित्तौडगढ़ के मंडफिया ( Mandpiya ) स्थित श्री सांवलिया सेठ का मंदिर ( Sanwaliya Seth Temple ) करीब 450 साल पुराना है। मेवाड़ राजपरिवार की ओर से इस मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया गया था। मंडफिया मंदिर कृष्ण धाम के रूप में सबसे ज्यादा प्रसिद्द है। यह मंदिर चित्तौडगढ़़ रेलवे स्टेशन से 41 किमी एवं डबोक एयरपोर्ट-उदयपुर से 65 किमी की दुरी पर स्थित है। सांवलिया जी का संबंध मीरा बाई से बताया जाता है। मान्यता के अनुसार मंदिर में स्थित सांवलिया जी मीरा बाई के वही गिरधर गोपाल है जिनकी वह पूजा किया करती थी।

Ep 9 Rajsamand to Goram ghat to Ranakpur, Rajasthan | Charbhuja temple.
We started our tour of this day by visiting Rajsamand lake, We reached Rajsamand lake on the previous night because we wanted to take the Goram ghat narrow gauge train from Kambli ghat.
This video was shot on 2nd Sept 2022, below are the activities we did during the day.
Rajsamand lake - It is located at a distance 67 km from Udaipur. It is the second-largest artificial lake of India. Rajsamand is well known for marble production and is the largest marble producing district in the country.
Khamli Ghat - It is the famous railway station from where one can catch a train for the Goram Ghat, Attraction to visit waterfall at Goram ghat is more during monsoon time. - Ticket : Rs. 30 per person, Only offline train ticket available, no online tickets for narrow gauge train available.
Journey from kamli ghat to Goram ghat - It took around 1 hour to travel from Khamli Ghat to Goram Ghat by train. Waterfall is around 20 min walk from Goram ghat railway station.

Charbhuja Temple - The temple is located in the village Garhbor of Rajsamand district. This village is situated in the Aravalli ranges.The temple was built in 1444 AD. According to the inscription inside the temple, the village name was Badri, therefore, the idol is considered as BadriNath. The deity of Charbhuja Nath is considered to be miraculous.

Ranakpur is located in the mountain ranges of Pali district, 23 kms away from the Phalna railway station. An enormous basement covers 48,000 sq feet area. There are four subsidiary shrines, 24 pillared halls and eligibly
domes supported by over 400 columns. The artistically carved nymphs playing the flute in various dance postures at a height of 45 feet are an engrossing sight. Light coloured marble has been used for the construction of this
grand temple, which occupies an area of approximately 60 x 62 meters. The Ranakpur Jain Temples were built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. Ranakpur is one of the five most important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. In the assembly hall, there are two big bells weighing 108 kgs whose sound echoes in the entire complex.
The fort of Kumbhalgarh (Rajasthan)
Kumbhalgarh (Kumbhalmer) is a fortress in Rajsamand District of Rajasthan state in western India. The fort has perimeter walls that extend 36 kilometres in length. Claimed to be the longest in the world after The Great Wall of China. Over 360 temples are within the fort. 300 ancient Jain and the rest Hindu. The vista from the palace top typically extends tens of kilometers into the Aravalli Range.

.Statue of belief -This statue has been built at Nathdwara in Udaipur.This statue is named Statue of Belief.This statue is not built by any government funds but by the owner of Miraj Group, Madan Lal Paliwal.This statue is the second largest statue of India after the Statue of Unity and Shiva is the world's largest statue.The Statue of Belief is 351 feet in height and its base is 110 feet and the paw of this statue is 65 feet and 150 feet from the claws to the knees and 175 feet to the waist and 280 feet to the shoulders and The face of the statue is 60 feet and the hair is 16 feet and The height of the trident of the Statue of Belief is 315 feet.The base of the Statue of Belief has been made mountainous and has been given silver color and the statue is coated with Copper color So that the sun and rain will not fade its color even for 20 years. 2 tanks of water are built inside the head of the statue.In which water from a tank will flow out of the hair and God will bless Shiva and the water of the second tank will work if there is an emergency. 4 lifts have been built inside the statue, in which 2 lifts will be for VIP and 2 lifts for common people.In which 2 lifts 110 feet and 2 lifts 280 feet will go to Lord Shiva's shoulders. 2 balconies were erected on the shoulders of the statue, from there you can see an amazing view of the entire Nathdwara up to 20 km and 3 steps have also been made for the maintenance of the statue and for the worship of the people, a circumference of one 300 feet and one 1.5 km has also been built here.or yanha par logo ke liye 3 garden bhi banvaye gaye hai jese harval garden, terish garden, And there are also 3 gardens built for people such as Harval Garden, Terish Garden, Mej Garden, and along with it, administrative buildings, restaurants, markets, musical fountains, and open platforms have also been built.

Kumbhalgarh est un fort Mewar du district de Rajsamand dans l'État du Rajasthan en Inde. Situé à 82 km d'Udaipur, Kumbhaghar est le plus important fort du Mewar après celui de Chittorgarh. Occupé jusqu'au XIXe siècle, il est aujourd'hui ouvert au public. La vue depuis le fort s'étend sur plusieurs dizaines de kilomètres sur la chaîne des Ârâvalli, et lorsque le temps le permet, on peut apercevoir au loin les dunes du désert du Thar.
Ranakpur est une petite cité du Rajasthan située dans la chaîne des Ârâvalli à une soixantaine de kilomètres au nord de la ville d'Udaipur. Elle tire son nom du raja Rana Kumbha. Le site doit sa notoriété au groupe de temples, majoritairement jaïns, et il fait partie des cinq pèlerinages majeurs du jaïnisme.
Le temple le plus important, celui d'Adinatha, est l'une des plus belles et plus vastes constructions jaïns de l'Inde. Il fut élevé par un riche marchand, Dharna Sah, qui, à la suite de la vision du temple achevé à cet endroit, approcha l'architecte Depaka et demanda l'aide du râna Kumbha qui lui accorda le terrain et l'assistance nécessaire.
La construction eut lieu au milieu du XVe siècle et aboutit à un temple immense, formé de 29 salles, comportant 80 coupoles portées par 420 piliers. Le bâtiment est censé compter un total de 1444 piliers tous sculptés avec une ornementation différente. L'ensemble est construit en marbre blanc dont chaque centimètre est gravé, sculpté, ornementé. Le temple est aussi appelé Chaumukha, ce qui signifie quatre faces car la cella abrite un Tîrthankara à quatre faces regardant vers les quatre points cardinaux.
Au côté de la merveille qu'est le temple d'Adinatha, on trouve deux autres temples jaïns du XVe siècle (un dédié à Neminâthaa et l'autre à Parshvanâtha, respectivement 21e et 23e Tîrthankaras) et un temple hindouiste dédié à Sûrya, datant du XIIIe siècle. Ranakpur Jain Temple or Ranakpur Jain Mandir is located about 2 hrs from Udaipur the Capital of Mewar region.Among India's finest mandir, Ranakpur Jain Temple is dedicated to Tirthankara Adinath (Ranakpur Jain temple). The Ranakpur Jain Temple complex of India's finest temple also houses the Chaumukha temple, Surya temple ranakpur, Parsavanth jain temple ranakpur or jain mandir ranakpur & Amba temple. Built in 15th century in marble the Ranakpur Jain Temple or Ranakpur Jain Mandir is among finest mandir in India.
Close by about 1 hour drive from the Ranakpur Jain Temple lies India's second largest Fort Complex of Kumbhalgarh Fort (Chittorgarh being the largest fort complex), again resurrected in 15th Century over the pre-existing structures dating back to the Mauryan Empire it is also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap (Maharana Pratap birth place). The fort is famous for the Great Wall of India i.e. India's longest continuous wall at the Kumbhalgarh fort. This Great Wall of India at Kumbhalgarh fort is 38 km in length. The complex also has several ancient Jain temple ranakpur & Shiva Temples.
The region lies in the Aravalli valley & peaks & is also known for the area where the Aravalli are at their highest (Guru Shikhar at 1722 m above sea level, close to the famous hill station of Mt. Abu) making the whole area a combination of scenic & historical experience.
The visit to India's finest mandir i.e the Ranakpur Jain Temple & the Great Wall of India of Kumbhalgrah fort is certainly a must visit place.

Ranakpur Jain temple complex in Rajasthan
One of the most significant and extensive Jain temple complexes that can be found in the country, the Ranakpur Jain Temple holds immense importance for all Jains. Spread over an area of 4,500 square yards and consisting of 29 halls, the temple is one of the most important of the five major pilgrimage centres of Jainism. The Ranakpur Temple is distinguished all across the globe for its brilliant architecture and was voted amongst the top 77 wonders of the world. The religious vibe and eye-catching design of the temple compel the pilgrims and tourists from all around the world to pay a visit and seek blessings from the Almighty.
The temple honours Adinath, who was the first Tirthankar of the present half-cycle or 'avasarpi' according to Jain cosmology. Built during the reign of the Rajput monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century, the temple complex consists of a total of four shrines. The construction of the temple was undertaken by Dhanna Shah, a local Jain businessman who saw a divine vision. The architectural style and stone carvings of the Ranakpur Temple are based on the ancient Mirpur Jain Temple that is located at Mirpur in Rajasthan.
The temple is designed as a 'chaumukha', which means that it has four faces. This beautiful and marvellous structure carved in stone is well known all across India for its fantastic architecture style. The unique thing about the temple is its colour-changing columns. They go from golden to pale blue after every hour that passes during the day. Moreover, each of these columns has been carved intricately without repeating any designs. Hence, no two columns in the temple have similar designs. The two large bells in the prayer hall give a harmonious sound upon their movement and are like a cheerful song to the ears of the devotees.
