LJUBLJANA IS AMAZING!! Exploring Ljubljana and Bled | SLOVENIA Roadtrip
Unfortunately, the weather stopped us from fully enjoying all that Slovenia had too offer. We fell in LOVE with Ljubljana instantly. With the rain forcing us back indoors, we have to make plans to visit Slovenia in the summer time to experience all that there is to offer. Sorry that this is not a long video, but i am sure the beauty of Bled will translate on screen..

Celje is the third-largest city in Slovenia. It is a regional center of the traditional Slovenian region of Styria and the administrative seat of the City Municipality of Celje . The town of Celje is located below Upper Celje Castle (407 m or 1,335 ft) at the confluence of the Savinja, Hudinja, Ložnica, and Voglajna rivers in the lower Savinja Valley, and at the crossing of the roads connecting Ljubljana, Maribor, Velenje, and the Central Sava Valley. It lies 238 m (781 ft) above mean sea level.

hello my friends. this is a map of Slovenia. Slovenia is situated in Central Europe touching the Alps and bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Slovenia's highest peak is Triglav at 2,864 m .
Four major European regions meet in Slovenia: the Alps, the Dinarides, the Pannonian Plain, and the Mediterranean Sea. Although on the shore of the Adriatic Sea near the Mediterranean Sea, most of Slovenia is in the Black Sea drainage basin. The Alps—including the Julian Alps, the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and the Karawank chain, as well as the Pohorje massif—dominate Northern Slovenia along its long border with Austria. Slovenia's Adriatic coastline stretches approximately 47 kilometres from Italy to Croatia.
Mount Mangart, in the Julian Alps, is the third-highest peak in Slovenia, after Triglav and Škrlatica.
The term Karst topography refers to that of southwestern Slovenia's Karst Plateau, a limestone region of underground rivers, gorges, and caves, between Ljubljana and the Mediterranean Sea. I'm from the US and have to admit - I had a lot of difficulty (and quite a bit of anxiety!) navigating the parking garages in Ljubljana. Wanted to share this video so that you feel prepared for your upcoming trip and know what to expect!

An amazing weekend in Slovenia with the best people.
This country offers beautiful nature, rich mountains, lakes, waterfalls and much more.
Right from the morning we set out for a 10-hour trek to the mountains where we walked in the thick snow, the sun shining and the lakes half-frozen. simply beautiful.
We ended the weekend in the tourist town of Bled, known for its church in the middle of the lake.

The Beautiful Skofja Loka Castle which is just a 20 minute drive from the capital city of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The drive from Ljubljana is absolute delight. This drive was very unique and very different from what we were used over the last two and a half weeks. You can tell because every single car was driving through so slow and we are convinced that they were just admiring the whole thing.
The walk to the reach the top is a little bit of hassle, specially if you have a kid and a stroller. It takes about 10-15 minute to climb through a few flight of stairs. I have a vide of that which i will be posting later on. This restored castle is one of the hot and must see sites in Slovenia. So naturally, don't be surprised if you see a lot of tourists. We were lucky as it wasn't that busy. Also we were unfortunate as this whole week was extremely hot. I would say the worst for 2019 in europe.
When you reach the top, there is a nice cafe and it doesn't cost much to get a nice drink and relax. To enter the castle is i believe 5 euros. It is absolutely worth it. The Castle overlooks the beautiful town and the view from up here is simply amzaing!!
Also close by is one of the oldest bridge of europe. The bridge is nothing fancy as you can imagine as it was built way back then. The river runs below and you can take some very beautiful pictures.
We spent about 2-3 hours checking this place out.
