Donnersberg | Rheinland-Pfalz | Keltenweg | Wandern | Vlog
Mein Auto war mal wieder fällig für die 2 jährige Hauptuntersuchung.
Nachdem wir das Auto in der Werkstatt abgegeben hatten fuhren wir noch 10km weiter zum Donnersberg auf den Wanderparkplatz und machten dort eine kleine Wanderung/Spaziergang und schauten uns bei dieser Gelegenheit den Ludwigsturm und den Adlerbogen etwas genauer an, denn wir lieben es Ausblicke zu genießen. Sei es aus einem hohen Stockwerk in einem Hotelzimmer oder Gebäude (Burj al Arab (burj-al-arab.com) in Dubai) oder natürlich noch lieber in der Natur.
Begleitet uns bei diesem Spaziergang der uns auch auf dem Keltenweg geführt hat.

Walking in KAISERSLAUTERN / Germany ????????- City Center and Japanese Garden - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Kaiserslautern / Germany is a city in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in the southwest of the country. The historic center dates back to the 9th century. Today Kaiserslautern is home to about 100.000 people with additionally approximately 45.000 NATO military personnel. The military presence is a large contributing factor to the local economy.
We start our tour on this cloudy day at the Kaiserpfalz (Barbarossaburg). This former palace was a temporary seat for the roman emperor from the early and high middle ages. Nowadays a few red stones remain giving a small impression of the former glory.
On this walk we see the city centre with common shopping streets and a few churches. We walk to the Kaiserbrunnen on the eastern edge of the city center and head outwards to the Museum Pfalzgalerie.
The final part of this walk happens inside the Japanese Garden, where we take our time to check out this relaxing place.

This video covers the letter D (Discovery) from my channel ABCD videos. You see a summary of the highlights of the Rodalben felsenwanderweg (rock trail walk around the town of Rodalben), the best walking route I have experienced in Germany. It was the 1st official walking trail of Germany that received the stamp quality road' and still one of the most beautiful ones. The trail is 45 kilometers long and goes in a loop around the village, all the time with the sandstone rock formations on one side and a stunning view on the UNESCO forest and village on the other side. The sandstone cliffs are formed in spectacular fashion and light up in red once the sun hits them .

The Bilstein cave was discovered in September 1887 by the Warsteiner ranger Franz Kersting during road works. Shortly after the discovery, the first trips took place in the cave. The geologist Emil Carthaus led the exploration and development, so that since 1888 the cave has been opened as a show cave for visitors.
The Bilstein cave, which you get to know during your cave visit, is only part of the larger cave system of Bilstein. From the 1,850 meters of the whole cave the system can be about 400 meters dedicated and comfortable. The remaining meters are reserved for well-equipped cavers. The lower caves are under water for months, only in dry summers these cave corridors are above the groundwater level.
