Rewa is a town situated in the Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. The place is also the district headquarter. Rewa tourism is renowned for its famous museums, forts, waterfalls and historical villages. The nearby airport is the Khajuraho Airport, which is well connected to the important cities of India. रीवा के इतिहास की एक झलक
इस शहर का नाम अपने जि़ले के नाम पर रखा गया है। इसके अलावा, नर्मदा नदी का दूसरा नाम रीवा है। किंवदंतियों के अनुसार, ऐसा माना जाता है कि ईसा पूर्व तीसरी शताब्दी के दौरान जि़ले के प्रदेशों पर मौर्य शासकों का शासन था। ऐसा माना जाता है कि सबसे पहला सफेद बाघ रीवा में ही पकड़ा गया था।
कैसे पहुँचे रीवा
सड़क, हवाई, और रेल नेटवर्क से यात्री रीवा तक पहुँच सकते हैं। इसके सबसे पास खजुराहो हवाई अड्डा है जो भारत के महत्वपूर्ण शहरों से भली प्रकार से जुड़ा है। रीवा रेलवे स्टेशन तक पहुँचने के लिए यात्री रेलगााड़ी भी ले सकते हैं जो रीवा शहर के सबसे पास है। खजुराहो से रीवा के लिए बसें भी उपलब्ध होती हैं।
रीवा आने का सबसे अच्छा समय
रीवा आने के लिए सबसे अच्छा मौसम मानसून होता है। मानसून जुलाई से शुरु होकर सितंबर तक रहता है और इस समय के दौरान यह शहर प्राकृतिक रूप से बहुत सुंदर दिखता है।
