Glamping Kolpa Resort - Krasinec - Slovenia
- Glamping Kolpa Resort is new Slovenian glamping that is arranged in village Krasinec that is located just next to the main road that is leading you from Metlike to Crnomelj and around 500m from river Kolpa. Guests can stay in modern glamping tents and glamping wooden houses.
Glamping Kolpa Resort has great location on the premises on previous castle that enables just enough privacy and at the same time great views on neighbouring hills and valleys.
In glamping Kolpa Resort it is possible to choose among three glamping tents for 5 people. Each has bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms and terrace. Guests will all enjoy natural swimming pond, mini bar, reading corner, children’s wooden playground, bunny farm and open fire for common evenings at the fireplace. Dogs are not allowed in glamping tents.
Six wooden glamping huts large enough for 4 persons are built in traditional style of Bela Krajina. Each wooden house has mini kitchen, while sanitary facilities are shared.
Proximity of river Kolpa enables many activities in and on the water, wonderful cycling paths just next to the camp, paintball, back horse riding, close by is adrenaline park Podzemelj and sport fishing in neighbouring ponds. All this complemented with friendly people, good local food and drinks. More than enough reasons to visit this idealistic part of Slovenia.
Slowenische Thermen - Terme Olimia
Das Thermalwasser spielte in Slowenien schon zu Zeiten der Römer eine große Rolle. Heilende Wasser ist auch der Slogan des Heilbäderverbandes. Auf unserer Reise durch das Alpe-Adria Land besuchen wir diesmal die Terme Olimia in der Ortschaft Podčetrtek im Osten Sloweniens, unmittelbar an der kroatischen Grenze.
Olimia ist mittlerweile eine kleine Stadt, mit vielen Hotels, mehreren unterschiedlichen Thermenlandschaften und dem Funpark Aqualuna. Herausragend sind aber das Designhotel Sotelia und die dazugehörende Designertherme Orhidelia, die beide mit den höchsten Architekturpreisen ausgezeichnet wurden. Eine echte Alternative zu den klassischen Thermen.
Camping Pezdirc Griblje - river Kolpa
- Campsite Pezdirc is located in the village Griblje, 4 km away from village Gradec and 10 km from towns Metlika and Crnomelj. It lays on the banks of Kolpa , just before the Slovenian – Croatian border. It is located on the banks of river Kolpa which is offering refreshment in summer.
Camping in Griblje is possible on soft meadow along river Kolpa. It is best suitable for campers with tents. Camping Griblje is offering large place for picnic and social events, they will even support you with needed logistics and organization. It can be larger families, companies or even weddings.
River Kolpa is great for various activities, while neighborhood is appropriate for exploring with bike or on foot. At the bathing place Griblje you can go swimming in the river, fishing or rowing (you can rent a canoe).
From the sports infrastructure you can choose between volleyball, badminton, football and table football.
In bar Breg (at the bathing place) free wireless internet is accessible. Shop is about 3km from the campsite (Podzemelj). Close by it is possible to rent an apartment as well (10 min walk away).
Rijeka Kupa / Reka Kolpa
The Kupa / Kolpa River is a medium-sized river in Slovenia and Croatia, flowing in beautiful mountains in upper stretches and meandering in the plains
This river is called the Kupa in Croatian, while Kolpa in Slovenian. Even though it springs only 10 km from the Adriatic sea, its water join the faraway Black Sea, through the Sava and Danube rivers.

Krone Kolpa Heaven - river Kolpa
- Camping Krone Kolpa Heaven is new tourist complex arranged 2km from town Adlesici in the southern part of Slovenia. It is opened all year long and their guests can stay in mobile homes that are arranged in local style.
The novelty is the rental of a small house decorated in the style of The Flintstones for 2 + 1 persons, which also includes a kitchenette and a bathroom.
For children they have playground, beach volleyball court and table tennis table. A common fireplace is arrange, which is specially popular in the evening, where camping guests gather.
River Kolpa is 700 m away and is great for swimming in the summer. We recommend as well rental of canoes for exploring river Kolpa or bikes for exploring interesting cycling paths.
Camping Krone Kolpe Heaven have 3 mobile homes that have bedroom, living room with kitchen, bathroom and terrace.
Two mobile homes are large enough to host 4+2 persons and one for 6+2 persons.

Camping Benetic - Vinica - river Kolpa
- On the edge of town Vinica you will find a camper stop Benetic, just next to river Kolpa. It offers parking for motorhomes with the entire supply (electricity, water, sewage system and free internet).
This camper stop Benetic is a place where time has stop, in a good way. You can sit on the banks of the river and listen to water mills (there is the oldest one around here, old more than 150 years).
Closest shop is 500m away. In camp you can play volleyball on grass and small football. In summer it is possible to bath in river Kolpa, also rafting and canoeing are organized.
Camping Kanu & Glamping Eco village Rincica - river Kolpa
- Camping Kanu Radenci works as a tentplace and is located in the village of Srednji Radenc, which is about 5 km from the village Stari trg ob Kolpi. They offer guests a place for camping and the possibility of renting glamping houses and rooms in the glamping Eco village Rincica.
In the meadow, right next to the river Kolpa river, there are a places for camping. The pitches are shaded by the old apple trees. There is connection to electricity, while guests are asked to to leave their on a 100m distant parking lot (as place is not huge and we all prefer camping in nature, not between vehicles).
Rental of glamping huts in camping Kanu Radeci - named Eco village Rincica - camp Kanu is offering charming glamping huts for 2 or 4 persons. Larger huts have lager bunk bed for 4 people, smaller ones have two beds. Three huts are set just on the Kolpa banks. All glamping huts have mini kitchen and refrigerator.
The sanitary facilities are arranged for camping and glamping houses in a common building. Guests can also enjoy a picnic area with a roof, tables and benches.
Camps staff are specialists for boating in Kolpa. They offer rafting and canoeing around Kolpa, as well as transporting people to entry points. The camp also rents SUP boards, bicycles, a beach volleyball court and a slack line are arranged. A children's playground with a trampoline is arranged.
Kanu camping Kolpa organizes guided trips along the valley of the Kolpa River, cycling tours, and during the summer months, they enrich evenings with cultural events - the Kolpa Evenings. The campsite also has a bar with a summer terrace, and guests can order daily to the breakfast.
