This town, situated at the intersection of a number of water, road and rail routes, is home to friendly people and a rich history.
Announcing your arrival in Radeče is an iron bridge which rises majestically across Slovenia's longest river, its 84-metre span linking the regions of Carniola and Štajerska.
From May to the end of October, these mighty waters play host to Radeče's famous raft, which provides a relaxing journey in the fascinating company of the town's raftsmen. A bowl of delicious goulash goes down more sweetly on water than it does on dry land, and there's always a refreshing drop of a little homemade something to welcome the first-timers into the friendly ranks of the raftsmen -- making the whole experience linger longer in the memory. If chance leads you to Radeče at the end of June, you'll be able to join us at our traditional rafting festival, with its lively series of cultural events and heavy dose of fun.
We offer a number of different raft-related programmes which can be tailored to your requirements. It's our job to make your day as memorable as possible.

Virtual walk thought the city and park in Laško, Slovenia
Laško is a spa town in eastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Laško. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The town is located at the foothills of Hum Hill on the Savinja River. It was first mentioned in written documents dating to 1227 and was granted town privileges in 1927. It is known to have been settled since the Iron Age and Roman archaeological finds are common in the area, though the precise location of the Roman settlement is not known. Today the town is best known for its annual Festival of Beer & Flowers (Pivo - Cvetje) and the local Laško Brewery, the largest brewery in the country.

Da maggio a fine ottobre sulla superficie liscia dell'acqua potrete ammirare, in tutta la sua magnificenza, la zattera che invita ad un viaggio rilassante e a stare in buona compagnia con gli zatterieri di Radeče. Il gustoso gulasch degli zatterieri sulla zattera è più buono che sulla terraferma, il vino fatto in casa rinfresca anche la gola più secca e il battesimo del pivello, che gli zatterieri accolgono tra le loro fila, rimane a lungo nella memoria. Se il vostro cammino vi porterà a Radeče a fine giugno potrete partecipare ai Giorni delle zattere, un avvenimento già diventato tradizione, con un ricco programma culturale e ricreativo.
