Ep 6 Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh | Nathdwara | Haldighati | Eklingji Temple | Rajasthan Tourism
After exploring Udaipur city for three days we started for Kumbhalgarh. Route that we followed was ;Ekling ji then Sahastra bahu temple, followed by Shree Nathdwara then we went to Haldighati and finally reached Kumbhalgarh in the night.
Date of this journey: 30th Aug 2022.
We hired a taxi from Udaipur for this journey drive name Bhanu , contact number +91 82097 66315
We paid Rs 5000 per day for the vehicle - Innova.
Below is the brief description of activities we did during this day.
Eklingji Temple - It is an ancient temple located 20 km from Udaipur, dedicated to Lord shiva.
Sastra Bahu Temple - 11th Century temple’s architecture is so beautiful, There is no Deity in the temple, located at distance of 2 km from Ekling ji.
Shri Nathdwara Temple - Check out darshan timings before you visit this place, so you can plan your visit time to this famous temple of Lord Krishna.
Swasthik alpahar - We had breakfast from a nearby temple - Rs 25 for 100 gms Moong dal vada.
Purushottam Bhai Dudh Jalebi Vala - This is a 120 year old shop, serving several sweets, we had Rabdi Malpua, Hot Milk - 30 per glass, Jalebi - Rs 20 for 50 gms.
Chetak Restaurant - This restaurant is adjacent to Haldighati Museum, we had rajasthani thali - Rs 210 limited quantity thali.
Haldighati Museum - Ticket - Rs 120 per person. You will get to see learn about what happened during the Haldighati war and some key information about Maharana Pratap life.
Maharana Pratap memorial - 10 min walking distance from the museum, located on hill top.
Chetak Samadhi - memorial built in memory of Chetak famous horse of Maharana Pratap.
Haldighati Darra - This is basically the ghat section, Where maharana pratap army restricted the mughals army to go forward.
Rakt Talai - This is where the actual Battle of Haldighati was fought.

It literary means gateway of Shrinathji (God).It is a town in India's western state of Rajasthan. It is located in the Aravalli hill. Nathdwara town is also famous as the Apollo of Mewar.
It is a very famous among the Gujarati communities, specially Vaishnavas.
There is a great significance for the Darshan of the Purnima.
There are almost 30 Bus operators in Gujarat who provide the Bus service to Nathdwara.
Nathdwara does not have an airport. Nearest airport is Dabok Airport, which is 41 km away from Nathdwara.
Nathdwara is very well connected by train with almost major cities of the country.
If you wish to come and stay during holidays I would suggest you to book your room in advance. There are many guest houses and cottages in the town but more near than temple are Chittalwala (Cheap rate and rooms) Dhirajdham (above average) and new cottage are suggestible.

Kankroli is a small town, located at a distance of 65km from the city of Udaipur. Kankroli is mainly known for its temple, which is sited on the banks of renowned Rajsamand Lake. The Kankroli Temple is popularly called as temple of Dwarikadhish. Dwarikadhish is one of the names of Lord Krishna. This Temple is the most significant temple of the Vaishnavas and Vallabhacharya sect. The chief deity of Kankroli temple is believed to have imported from Mathura, the hometown of Lord Krishna.
The idol of Lord Dwarikadhish was brought in 1671 A.D., during the rule of Maharana Raj Singh. The idol was placed in the present temple, which was constructed at the time of the inaugural ceremony of the Rajsamand Lake in 1676 A.D. Shri Bal Krishna ji, the grandson of Vallabhacharya, took the initiative to care for the deity. Since then, Kankroli Temple is the third peeth (religious temple) of Vaishnav religion as Pushtimarg (way to completion).
Kankroli Temple reminds one of the famous Nathdwara temple. The temple has a quiet and soothing ambience. In the complex of the Temple, there is a small garden where one can sit to enjoy the beauty of nature. The temple also holds a library that possesses a huge compilation of old books.
Kankroli temple is the biggest temple of Lord Dwarikadhish in Kankroli and ranks very high among all the temples of Vallabhacharya. Dwarkadheesh temple offers a tranquil view of the cool and calm Rajsamand Lake. Every year, people in large numbers come to visit this temple from all over India. Should you be visiting Udaipur, a visit to the temple of Dwarikadhish, is a must.

श्रीनाथजी श्रीकृष्ण भगवान के ७ वर्ष की अवस्था के रूप हैं। श्रीनाथजी हिंदू भगवान कृष्ण का एक रूप हैं, जो सात साल के बच्चे (बालक) के रूप में प्रकट होते हैं।[1] श्रीनाथजी का प्रमुख मंदिर राजस्थान के उदयपुर शहर से 49 किलोमीटर उत्तर-पूर्व में स्थित नाथद्वारा के मंदिर शहर में स्थित है। श्रीनाथजी को मुख्य रूप से भक्ति योग के अनुयायियों और गुजरात और राजस्थान में वैष्णव और भाटिया एवं अन्य लोगों द्वारा पूजा जाता है।
चित्तौडगढ़ के मंडफिया ( Mandpiya ) स्थित श्री सांवलिया सेठ का मंदिर ( Sanwaliya Seth Temple ) करीब 450 साल पुराना है। मेवाड़ राजपरिवार की ओर से इस मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया गया था। मंडफिया मंदिर कृष्ण धाम के रूप में सबसे ज्यादा प्रसिद्द है। यह मंदिर चित्तौडगढ़़ रेलवे स्टेशन से 41 किमी एवं डबोक एयरपोर्ट-उदयपुर से 65 किमी की दुरी पर स्थित है। सांवलिया जी का संबंध मीरा बाई से बताया जाता है। मान्यता के अनुसार मंदिर में स्थित सांवलिया जी मीरा बाई के वही गिरधर गोपाल है जिनकी वह पूजा किया करती थी।

.Statue of belief -This statue has been built at Nathdwara in Udaipur.This statue is named Statue of Belief.This statue is not built by any government funds but by the owner of Miraj Group, Madan Lal Paliwal.This statue is the second largest statue of India after the Statue of Unity and Shiva is the world's largest statue.The Statue of Belief is 351 feet in height and its base is 110 feet and the paw of this statue is 65 feet and 150 feet from the claws to the knees and 175 feet to the waist and 280 feet to the shoulders and The face of the statue is 60 feet and the hair is 16 feet and The height of the trident of the Statue of Belief is 315 feet.The base of the Statue of Belief has been made mountainous and has been given silver color and the statue is coated with Copper color So that the sun and rain will not fade its color even for 20 years. 2 tanks of water are built inside the head of the statue.In which water from a tank will flow out of the hair and God will bless Shiva and the water of the second tank will work if there is an emergency. 4 lifts have been built inside the statue, in which 2 lifts will be for VIP and 2 lifts for common people.In which 2 lifts 110 feet and 2 lifts 280 feet will go to Lord Shiva's shoulders. 2 balconies were erected on the shoulders of the statue, from there you can see an amazing view of the entire Nathdwara up to 20 km and 3 steps have also been made for the maintenance of the statue and for the worship of the people, a circumference of one 300 feet and one 1.5 km has also been built here.or yanha par logo ke liye 3 garden bhi banvaye gaye hai jese harval garden, terish garden, And there are also 3 gardens built for people such as Harval Garden, Terish Garden, Mej Garden, and along with it, administrative buildings, restaurants, markets, musical fountains, and open platforms have also been built.

राजसमन्द झील (Rajsamand Lake), जो राजसमुद्र झील (Rajsamudra Lake) भी कहलाती है, भारत के राजस्थान राज्य के राजसमन्द नगर के समीप स्थित एक कृत्रिम झील है। इसका निर्माण सन् 1660 के दशक में मेवाड़ के राणा राज सिंह प्रथम ने करवाया था। यह 2.82 किलोमीटर (1.75 मील) चौड़ी, 6.4 किलोमीटर (4.0 मील) लम्बी और 18 मीटर (59 फीट) गहरी है। इसे गोमती नदी, केलवा नदी और ताली नदी पर बनवाया गया था और इसका जलसम्भर क्षेत्र 510 वर्ग किलोमीटर (200 वर्ग मील) है।

Rajsamand Lake (also known as Rajsamudra Lake) is a lake situated near the town of Rajsamand in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Built in the 17th century, it is approximately 1.75 miles (2.82 km) wide, 4 miles (6.4 km) long and 60 feet (18 m) deep. The lake was built across the Gomati, Kelwa, and Tali Rivers, with a catchment area of approximately 196 sq mi (510 km2).
Rajsamand Lake in Rajsamand District of Udaipur region of Rajasthan. Rajsamand Lake is one of the five popular lakes of Mewar. Located 66 km in the north of Udaipur, Rajsamand Lake lies between the cities of Rajnagar and Kankroli. The lake is also known by the name of Rajsamudra Lake in Rajasthan. Rajsamand Lake was built by Maharana Raj Singh in 1660. The lake stretches to the length of 4 miles and 1.75 miles in width. The lake has the approximate depth of 60 feet.

It is 3 kilometers far from kankroli rajsamand .It is a banks of Rajsamand lake which known as “noxious” .nau choki rajsamand’s art is amazing .There are 27 stone slabs carved in 17th century, bear the longest Sanskrit inscription known in the world . at nau choki the slabs known as Raj Prashasti which mention the history of the Mewar . The construction of Nau Choki Rajsamand is based on the number nine [9] which is considered to the absolute number in Hindu Mythology .
The art of nau chauki rajsamand show combined Hindu and Islamic style .There are three chhatris made of marble and have very best miniature carving on marble and this is very rare art work .all the chhatris are very beautiful . It took 14 years for the completion work of nau choki Rajsamand .

Kankroli is a city located in the district of Rajsamand in Rajasthan, India. It is located about 40 miles (64 km) nthe Rajsamand lake built by Maharaja Rajsingh.Along the lake is the beautiful temple called the Dwarikadheesh Temple. Kankroli is the main city in Rajsamand. Friends, in this video I have shown you the Statue of Belief on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri of 2020, Statue of belief has been built at Nathdwara in Udaipur.This statue is named Statue of Belief.This statue is not built by any government funds but by the owner of Miraj Group, Madan Lal Paliwal.This statue is the second largest statue of India after the Statue of Unity and Shiva is the world's largest statue.The Statue of Belief is 351 feet in height and its base is 110 feet and the paw of this statue is 65 feet and 150 feet from the claws to the knees and 175 feet to the waist and 280 feet to the shoulders and The face of the statue is 60 feet and the hair is 16 feet and The height of the trident of the Statue of Belief is 315 feet.The base of the Statue of Belief has been made mountainous and has been given silver color and the statue is coated with Copper color So that the sun and rain will not fade its color even for 20 years. 2 tanks of water are built inside the head of the statue.In which water from a tank will flow out of the hair and God will bless Shiva and the water of the second tank will work if there is an emergency. 4 lifts have been built inside the statue, in which 2 lifts will be for VIP and 2 lifts for common people.In which 2 lifts 110 feet and 2 lifts 280 feet will go to Lord Shiva's shoulders. 2 balconies were erected on the shoulders of the statue, from there you can see an amazing view of the entire Nathdwara up to 20 km and 3 steps have also been made for the maintenance of the statue and for the worship of the people, a circumference of one 300 feet and one 1.5 km has also been built here.or yanha par logo ke liye 3 garden bhi banvaye gaye hai jese harval garden, terish garden, And there are also 3 gardens built for people such as Harval Garden, Terish Garden, Mej Garden, and along with it, administrative buildings, restaurants, markets, musical fountains, and open platforms have also been built..Hope you enjoy this video

Haldighati is a mountain pass between Khamnore and Bagicha village situated at Aravalli Range of Rajasthan in western India which connects Rajsamand and Pali districts. The pass is located at a distance of 40 kilometres from Udaipur. The name 'Haldighati' is believed to have originated from the turmeric-coloured yellow soil of the area.
The mountain pass is the site where the Battle of Haldighati was fought in 1576 between Rana Pratap Singh of Mewar and Raja Man Singh of Amber

The Swarup or divine form of Shrinathji is said to be self-manifested.The deity of the Lord Krishna according to the legend, is self-manifested from stone and emerged from the Govardhan Hills.
Historically, the image of Shrinathji was first worshipped at Govardhan hill, near Mathura.
The image was initially shifted from Mathura in 1672 CE along river Yamuna and was retained at Agra for almost six months, in order to safeguard it from, according to legend, the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, who wished to keep the prestigious deity with him in Agra.
