Die Müritz: ein kleines Meer und ein Nationalpark
Mit einer Fläche von 110 Quadratkilometern ist die Müritz Deutschlands größter Binnensee und wird deshalb auch Kleines Meer genannt. Judith Rakers erkundet sie von Waren aus per Fahrrad. (Hier ist uns ein Tippfehler im Film unterlaufen: die Stadt hat ca. 21.000 Einwohner, nicht 1.200.) Einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Müritz hat sie vom 33 Meter hohen Aussichtsplattform der Marienkirche in Röbel. Östlich des Sees liegt der Nationalpark Müritz. Das UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe ist mit langen Wasseradern durchzogen, auf denen Wasserwanderer mit dem Kanu unterwegs sind.
Malchow: eine Drehbrücke als Touristenattraktion
Eine 15 Meter lange Drehbrücke verbindet die Inselstadt Malchow mit dem Festland. Um den Schiffen die Durchfahrt zu gewähren, wird das Wahrzeichen der Stadt zu jeder Stunde eingeklappt - zur Freude der Touristen in den umliegenden Cafés. Judith Rakers trifft Werner Ehrich, der seit Jahrzehnten als Brückenwärter arbeitet. Nicht weit entfernt steht der ehemaligen Film-Palast, in dem heute das DDR-Alltagsmuseum untergebracht ist.
Feldberger Seenlandschaft: Seeadler und ein Fährmann
Als ehrenamtlicher Naturschutzwart kennt Fred Bollmann die besten Verstecke rund um die Feldberger Seenlandschaft, um Vögel zu beobachten und zu fotografieren. Judith Rakers erlebt, wie der seltene Seeadler auf Zuruf herangesegelt kommt. Fährmann Tom Voigtländer bringt Wanderer, Spaziergänger und Radfahrer mit einer der letzten handbetriebenen Seilfähren Europas sicher ans andere Ufer des türkisgrünen Schmalen Luzin.

Leider sind während des Fluges technische Probleme aufgetaucht und dadurch wurde ein großer Teil der Aufnahmen unbrauchbar. Schade.
Der anerkannte Erholungsort Röbel/Müritz mit seinen zwei imposanten frühgotischen Kirchtürmen, die weit in alle Himmelsrichtungen grüßen, liegt wasserseitig an einem Ausläufer der Müritz und ist landseitig in eine leicht hügelige Landschaft eingebettet.
Die geschützte Lage und die beschaulichen Ringgassen mit den vielen bunten Fachwerkhäuschen vermitteln das Gefühl von Geborgenheit und Zeitlosigkeit. Besonders die restaurierte Windmühle, die inmitten der Stadt auf dem Burgberg thront, eröffnet dem Besucher bei einem Spaziergang durch das mittelalterliche Stadtzentrum einen Rückblick auf Handwerk und Tradition.
Die kleine Stadt besitzt eine wunderschöne und lang gestreckte Uferpromenade mit Anlegestellen der Fahrgastschiffer, einladenden Restaurants und Cafés. Die alten, teils schilfgedeckten Bootshäuser verleihen Röbel/Müritz zusammen mit dem modernen Wasserwanderrastplatz, dem Segler- und Stadthafen ein sehr individuelles maritimes Flair.

It's right at the #Müritzlake which is the biggest inland lake of Germany and the museum functions as a welcome centre for visitors of the region.
You get a nice overview of all natural beauty there's to discover. From 1000 year old trees reaching for badass eagles in the sky to a wonderful underwater world that you can dive right into.
This nature paradise is only a 1,5 hours drive away from Berlin.

The Museum consists of around 24 aquarium with 50 varieties of fresh water fish species in.
