Now, I don't think it does justice to call it a suburb of Toronto, because really, it's a city in itself. It has 22 neighborhoods and villages, and three quarters of a million people that's larger than some provinces in Canada.
And so I'm going to share with you the best restaurants in Mississauga that have authentic international cuisine. This is an opportunity to explore before you travel.
They may not big marketing budgets to make the top 10 lists but they serve real, authentic food from a country. These businesses are the heart of Mississauga - the entrepreneurs, the mom and pop shops, the family run businesses, the ones that have survived last few years, which have been so tough, and that's because their food is amazing.

In this week’s episode, we’ll go on a day trip to Niagara Falls and do a wine tasting at Niagara-on-the-Lake, I’ll attempt to plan a surprise getaway for Sam (very tricky when you're married to someone who asks lots of questions!), we’ll explore a new-to-us island in Toronto, and we’ll do some other stuff around the house like binge-watch the latest season of The Crown (any other fans?!), share one of our latest hobbies involving wine, and just catch up on life in general. What to do in Quinte West? | Perfect Day in Small Town Canada
(We interrupt our series again for this latest vlog). Today we went to Quinte West with the goal of having a perfect and ideal day. We did as much as we possibly could to complete our checklist. We stuffed our faces with amazing coffee from The Grind, Wannamaker’s baked goods (maple bacon and raspberry cream-filled doughnuts, plus a gluten-free cupcake), a massive chicken bacon club with fries from Dimitri’s, a soup and a gluten-free sandwich from the Old Bank Cafe, and Korean food that was to die for from Gogi Korean Grill. We took a moment to appreciate our veterans at the Afghanistan Repatriation Memorial and learned a ton about Canada’s National Air Force at the museum as well. We also spent time walking outside at the Bata Island Trail and in the flower garden at Dahlia May Flower Farm too. Couldn’t have asked for a better, more complete day here in Quinte West.

We met at LaSalle Secondary School in Kingston Ontario and we’ve been together for over 8 years now. Keith comes from a bilingual military family and Devon from a Kingston family of teachers. We made it through Queen’s University together where Keith studied Mechanical Engineering and Devon, Concurrent Education and Global Development. Right now we’re travelling across Canada in a Dodge Caravan for the entire month but come January 2022 we have bigger plans in mind.
