New Zealand is one of the world’s best places to live and retire, best place to raise your family. It has a very pleasant climate, great beaches, a wide variety of outdoor activities, cultural attractions, free health care
(for the most part), a good educational system, economic freedom, a lack of corruption and attractive, modern cities.

New Zealand is comprised of two big islands called North Island and South Island, plus numerous smaller islands.
It is located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean and is very geographically isolated.
Its nearest neighbors are Australia, which is 1242 miles to the northwest, and New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga to the north.
The population of New Zealand is 4,334,000, the majority of whom are of European descent.
The largest minority are the native Maori. There are also a significant number of non-Maori Polynesians and Asians – especially in urban areas.

East Coast Road | New Zealand Road Trip | Traveller
Driving along East Coast Road in Auckland, New Zealand in Spring 2020. The road runs from Waharau Regional Park and ends at Robert Findlay Wildlife Reserve. This is a beautiful road with many attractions along the road such as Tāpapakanga Regional Park to Waharau Regional Park, Whakatīwai Regional Park, Hunua Ranges Regional Park, Whakatiwai, Rangipo Museum, Pūkorokoro Miranda Shorebird Centre and Ray's Rest Camping Reserve, Kaiaua village, Robert Findlay Wildlife Reserve.

Pukekohe is in the southern hemisphere in NZ 3 hours flight east of Sydney, Australia.

New Zealand’s newest passenger train | Te Huia | Hamilton to Auckland
Find out what it's like to travel on New Zealand's newest passenger train, Te Huia, which operates between the country's fourth biggest city Hamilton and its most populous city, Auckland.
In this video, I take you on a tour of the train, highlighting some of the trains's key features. I try some of the food and drink options from the onboard cafe and show you the beautiful scenery along the way.
Te Huia runs return services from Frankton (Hamilton) to the Strand (Auckland) twice a day during the week, and once on Saturdays.
The service is a five-year trial with subsidies from the NZ Transport Agency and Waikato local authorities. The service began on 6 April 2021. It stops at Frankton, Rotokauri (The Base), Huntly, Papakura, Puhinui and The Strand.

Pukekohe Shuttle Auckland Transport Southern Line Complete Trip
A ride on the Auckland Transport shuttle service from Papakura to Pukekohe in south Auckland, New Zealand. Due to electrification ending at Papakura, passengers heading on to Pukekohe must transfer onto a diesel shuttle service for the final 15 minutes of their ride. This was filmed looking out the west side of the train on 8 June 2019.
RM 30 Silver Fern To Whanganui With Pukekohe Travel 2016
The Silverfern railcar was chartered by Pukekohe Travel as part of their 'Great Forgotten Taranaki Tour 2016' in New Zealand. On September the 20th, the railcar ran the leg from New Plymouth To Whanganui.
The railcar arrived running as Train eO3. The railcar was stabled overnight on an old container loading siding at the Whanganui Freight Centre from where passengers were transferred to coaches to be bused to their overnight accommodation.
This video picks up the railcar at the Kai Iwi Loop. Then we see it following the Kai Iwi deviation and descending the Westmere Bank to cross the Whanganui River. Next the railcar is crawling along the Whanganui Town branch to its overnight setting in the care of SteamRail Wanganui. Shortly after Train 567 passes by heading from Castlecliff To East Town, from where it would pick up a lengthy train of logs and haul them to Wellington.
2016 has seen a healthy amount of railway excursions to Whanganui bringing visitors from around Australia and wider New Zealand. But sadly; Whanganui has lost all it's passenger platforms since the demise of Wellington - New Plymouth Railcar in 1977
The Kaingaroa Rock Carvings - A Little Known Secret - Ancient New Zealand
The Kaingaroa Rock Carvings are on the walls of a hidden rock shelter in the Kaingaroa Forest. The trail leading to the rock carvings is unmarked and known only to a few, mostly locals.
The Kaingaroa Forest is on the Kaingaroa Plains between Rotorua and Murupara.
The artist(s) that carved the walls are unknown. When the site was discovered by the NZ State Forest Service in 1925, the Ngati Manawa people living in the area knew nothing of the rock shelter. They had been there for 12 generations, so it is possible that an earlier people carved them. Ngati Manawa had defeated Te Marangaranga, the previous inhabitants of the area, whom perhaps made the rock carvings, but there is no way to be sure it was them.
Some speculate that these rock carvings are evidence of New Zealand inhabitants that pre-date Maori. You can learn more about these theories by watching the following multipart documentaries on YouTube:
